  1. SF2 WW2 Brooklyn Class Light Cruiser by Foxmonter

    SF2 WW2 Brooklyn Class Light Cruiser 4/8/2015

    = For SF2 (Full5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)

This is a mod of Foxmonter's ARA General Belgrano BACK to it's original USN WW2 version (pretty much!).
Data ini edits remove the missile lauchers, but all gun aramament remains intact.
The skin has been repainted to remove any post-war markings, and decals created for the hull numbers and ship names.
It is as fully SF2NA compliant as we can make it!
Guns, sounds, and the hull decals are all included.

This version will NOT conflict with any other ships of this type (DAT), as unique identifiers have been used to seperate and differentiate them from each other.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as usual, PLEASE!! give the "Notes" section a read, too.

    Happy Landings!

  2. SF2 WW2 BT2D "Skyraider" (AD-1)

    SF2 WW2 BT2D "Skyraider" (AD-1) 7/21/2016

"A Somewhat What If aircraft for WW2 PTO '46"

**Note: consider this 'version 3.0', replacing the SF/Wo* version based on MontyCZ Skyraider I'd done many years ago. THIS version replaces that one completely. Delete it if you still have it.**

*Note you =MUST= have SF2:V as part of your merged install, as the mod references the stock A-1H lod for the aircraft.*

The is a semi-what if aircraft, as the BT2D did exist (and was renamed the AD-1 in 1947). This mod assumes that the aircraft WAS deployed to the Western Pacific in WW2, in the event that the development and/or usage of the A-Bombs was curtailed for some reason.

The aircraft comes with three skin/decal sets (although only one actual skin residing in the main folder; the "Brain32 trick".)

    VB-14 (USS WASP)
    VT-88 (USS YORKTOWN)
    VB-19 (USS CORAL SEA)

The skin remains in bmp format. All markings are decals and decal randomization is TRUE. All Aircraft carry the new style (post-July 1945) "letter code" ship identification tags. These ARE correct for the time from 7/45 - 12/46(ish). VT88 & VB19 also make use the "hundreds" series modex numbers, which also started usage 7/45. VB14 remains with is double digit modex numbers. Several other ship ID code decal are provided, for those wishing to replace other SB2C & TBM units with the BT2D. Other units can be easily made if one knows their code letters (I do!) Other units may require new, different sequenced modex number decals.

All weapons, sounds and a pilot figure are included. The canopy opens with the standard keystroke, Shift/0 (zero). Wingfold is active, by using it's standard keystroke, Shift/9, but it's not reccomended to fold the wings when loaded, as due to some sort of game limitation, the weapons will NOT move with the wing (no matter how much I've tried to fix that).
The aircraft has been given a "start date' of of June, 1945.
The aircraft is equipped with radar, (AN/APS-4) in an external pod, and is speced to carry and deploy just about all USN weapons of the period, including "Bat" glide bombs, and torpedos.

As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions.

    Happy Landings!

  3. SF2 WW2 C-47 Skytrain

    SF2 WW2 C-47 Skytrain

    -- Something for the WW2 players --
    = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged -PLUS- SF2I Expansion Pak 1 Required!!! =

*Note: you MUST have SF2I Expansion Pak 1 to gain access to the C-47A to add the mod to. If you do
not meet the requirement, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MOD, as you'll be unable to use it.*

A quickie redecaling of the 3W Skytrain to represent Early WW2 C-47s in use pretty much anywhere in
the world. It uses the stock OD skin, with the Round Star (no meatball, no bars) as seen from May
1942 through September(ish) 1943. 12 serial number decals are included; these ARE actual C-47A
    serials from the correct timeframe.

Also included is Kesselbrut's cockpit*, for those that haven't made it flyable, and a new engine
sound, of an actual C-47. The userlist ini also included, adding Australia as a new nation; a WW2
RAAF skin is in the works.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please
    read them.
This will look quite good sitting parked around you WW2 airfields!

*Note: although a cockpit is supplied, it is reccomended to leave the aircraft under AI control.
There is very little actual use for transport aircraft in game, at the moment, other than as eye
    candy.

  4. SF2 WW2 CBI B-24D Liberator Pak

    SF2 WW2 B-24D Liberator, CBI Pak by Veltro2K 6/1/2014
    (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)

This pack contains a NEW aircrft, by Veltro2k; the B-24D Liberator as seen in in the China, Burma, India Theatre. Be advised, that while there wasn't too much 'crossover' between the 10 AF in India and the 14th AF in China, for gaming purposes it won't matter much.
You are advised, however, to have a seperate CBI mods folder (even though the new India/Burma/Indochina map is far from completed).

    The unit(s) represented herein are:

    10th AF (India):
    493rd BS, 7th BG (star-and-ball, 42/43)
    9th BS, 7th BG (star-and-bar, late 43 thru 45)

    14th AF (China):
    374th BS, 308th BG (43)

All Aircraft are painted in the standard finish of OD/Neutral Grey.
Each of the skins will display their theatre association (B/I) or © on the Loadout Screen's drop down.
The skins are in jpg format. All markings are decals (excepting the wing national markings). The serials, when carried, are 'generic' in nature, as they represent no particular unit, but ARE for the model variant depicted. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. 10th & 14th AF squadron numbering conventions (plane-in-group numbers) are used on these aircraft. There are NO nose arts. Other texture artists are encouraged to do the research, and create proper artwork decals.
Weapons, pilot figures and guns are NOT included; you should have them already.
A new "generic" Hangar screen was created for this mod. Damage textures are in DDS format.

    When in game you'll see

    B-24D Liberator (v2k)

This will differentiate this Lib from any others you may have (ie: Pasko's).

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other important notations, in particular for in-game usage.

  5. SF2 WW2 CBI B-24J Liberator Pak

    SF2 WW2 CBI B-24J Liberator Pak by Veltro2K 6/10/2014

    (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)

This pack contains a Theatre Specfic version of Veltro2k's B-24J Liberator as seen in
in the China, Burma, India Theatre. Be advised, that while there wasn't too much
'crossover' between the 10 AF in India and the 14th AF in China (and the RAF for that
matter), for gaming purposes it won't matter much.
You are advised, however, to have a seperate CBI mods folder (even though the new
India/Burma/Indochina map is far from completed).

    The unit(s) represented herein are:

    10th AF (India):
    493rd BS, 7th BG (43/45, in OD/Grey)

    14th AF (China):
    374th BS, 308th BG (44/45, in NM)

    RAF (India/Burma):
No. 99 Squadron "Madras Presidency" (Liberator GR.VI, late 44/45, in OD/Grey)

Each of the skins will display their theatre association; B/I or C.
The skins are in jpg format. All markings are decals (excepting the wing national
markings and some squadron rudder markings). The serials, when carried, are 'generic'
in nature, as they represent no particular unit, but ARE for the model variant
depicted. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. 10th & 14th AF squadron numbering
conventions (plane-in-group numbers) are used on these aircraft. There are NO nose
arts. Other texture artists are encouraged to do the research, and create proper
    artwork decals.
Weapons, pilot figures and guns are NOT included; you should have them already.
However, the VB-1 "Azon" bomb is, as the 7th BG had specialy equipped aircraft for
their usage. A "Strike_Azon" loadout has been setup, and is availalbe through the 3W
Mission Editor. Or they can be hand-loaded. Be advised, the standard carry was 4
Azons, and handloading WILL overload the aircraft with 7. RAF units did NOT use Azons.
The aircraft is also equipped with a ground mapping/surface search radar.
Damage textures are in DDS format.

    When in game you'll see

    B-24J Liberator (v2k)

This will differentiate this Lib from any others you may have (ie: Pasko's).

SF2 WW2 CBI Hurricane IIC (Trop) Skin & Tweeks Pak 1/24/2014

-- Something for the WW2 CBI players --

    = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: this pak MAY be usable in 1stGen SF/Wo* game installs. However, some
features (decal randomization and others) will =NOT= be functional. Use in
1stGens has not, and cannot be, tested by me.*

**Note x2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in a WW2 CBI-Centric mods
folder. Some Theatre specific changes have been effected, and should =ONLY= be
    used in the CBI!!!**

This is =NOT= the full aircraft; you'll be adding all this stuff to the
original (ok, Ver.4). It's available at the following URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/13254-hurricane-mkiic/

Some mods, tweeks, and 2 new skin/decal sets for Raven's Hurricane IIC Trop, as
seen in India and Burma during WW2.
    Included are 2 skins for:

    No. 135 Squadron, RAF
No. 2 Squadron "Winged Arrows", Royal Indian Air Force (RIAF)

The squadron patch will be seen as the paint chip for each skin on the Loadout
    screen.
Neither unit carried Squadron codes, and both make use of a pool of plane-in-
group letters and serial numbers. The serials should be considered 'generic' in
nature, as they represent no particular aircraft with these units, but ARE
    correct for the variant depicted.
Skins remain in their bmp format, and as both units were painted alike, resides
in the MAIN aircraft folder. This will NOT interfere with other skins you may
have, residing in their individual folders
    Several new inis are included;

    Main
    Data (with some small tweeks)
    Loadout (again, with small tweeks)

A new-ish, SF2 version of the original uploads 44 gal drop tank (with pylon),
creates a new, seperate version of this weapon. It will NOT conflict with any
others, and is designed for use on THIS aircraft. No other weapons or guns are
indluded; you should have them already.
The AvHistory Merlin engine sound is included, as is a new SF2 style hangar
    screen.
Canopy Opens/Closes via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0.
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE.

The skins have been run through the template (thank you Raven for that!), and
have had a layer of dirt and 'clouds' added for weathering.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are
    included. PLEASE read them!!

Some mods, tweeks, and 2 new skin/decal sets for Raven's P-40K-5-CU Warhawk, is seen in
    China durning WW2.

Included are 2 skins for the 23rd FG, aka "Flying Tigers"

    74th Fighter Squadron, in late 42 (star-and-ball)

    75th Fighter Squadron, in late 43 (star-and-bar)

The squadron patch (ww2 versions!) will be seen as the paint chip for each skin on the
    Loadout screen.
Skins remain in their bmp format.
New DDS damage textures (usable on all Raven's Warhawk/Kittyhawk in SF2 only) are
    included!
    Several new inis are included;

    main
    Data
    Loadout
    Userlist

The data ini makes use of my "kit-bashed" FM, that while (semi) SF2-compliant, still
needs fine tuning by an Expert. At least now, it won't mush into the ground and explode.
You are advised to back up your original inis, and full instructions are in the "To
    Install" section.
The DF Loop antenna has been added via the 'fake pilot' method
Canopy Opens/Closes via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0.

All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. There are no nose arts. Also,
via the use of my (patent pending) fake SqTail decal, the squadron name display is now
active on the Loadout Screen (74th only).

No weapons are included, except SF2 Versions of the new bombs (for those that haven't
    converted them yet).
New SF-2 compliant "Box Art" style Hangar and Loading screens are included, too.

The skins have been run through the template (thank you Raven for that!), and have had a

folder to prevent them from showing up where, historically, they shouldn't. The
Aircraft/GroundObject sets for CBI are substantially different from the Central
    or SouthWest Pacific areas.**

    This pack contains modifications/reskin/redecaling/etc of Wolf257's P-36
aircraft, and create a nation-specific version for use in the China-Burma-India
Theatre by the RAF. This pak contains a skin for:

    No. 5 Squadron, RAF

As seen in the Assam & Imphal Valleys, and Eastern Bengal in late 1941 thru
1942 (end of service approx 1944). It is finished in standard Temperate Day
    Scheme, with full color markings.

A new (semi) compliant SF2 FM was cobbled together. As has become expected, the
FM is NOT perfect, and needs further fine-tuning by Experts.
New "box art" style hangar screen, New DDS damage textures, New (AvHistory)
Engine sound, and a new 20# RAF bomb. The skin remains in BMP format, and decal
randomization is set to TRUE. As is usual, all lighting is 100% historically
    correct.
Serial numbers are also historicaly correct for th Mohawk II/III/IV, but should
be considered "generic" in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft
    with the unit depicted.
All markings are decals, making it easier for other skinners to replicate the
other Mohawk units in the CBI.

    When in-game, you'll see

    Mohawk IV (W)

on the aircraft selection drop down menu. The "W" is for "Wolf". This is done
as a 'just in case' Raven is working on a newer version (which I believe to be
    the case, maybe?).

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are
    included. So, please read them.

This pack contains modifications/reskin/redecaling/etc of Wolf257's P-47D aircraft (both Razorback & BubbleTop), and create a nation-specific version for use in the China-Burma-India Theatre (SEAC) by the RAF. This is the complete aircraft, with everything needed. This pak contains a skins for:

    Thunderbolt I:

    No. 261 Squadron, RAF

    Thunderbolt II:

No. 5 Squadron (after converting from Mohawks)
No. 60 Squadron (after converting from Hurricanes, after converting from Blenheims)

261 and 5 Squadrons are finished in standard SEAC camo (Temprate Day); 60 squadron is finished in Natural Metal, as they didn't start Thunderbolt operations until May, 1945. That particular skin does NOT use the SF2 "start date" switch, as many of the squadrons continued in camo until VE-Day. You can select it from the drop-down in the usual manner.
All markings are decals, making it very easy for skinners to create other squadrons by simply making a new squadron code letter. Decal randomization is set to TRUE.
The Squadron Crest is used for the paint chip on all 3 skins.

A new (semi)compliant SF2 FM was assembled (as used on my other P-47 Mods). As has become expected, the FM is NOT perfect, and needs further fine-tuning by Experts.

New "box art" style hangar & loading screens (when art was locatable), New DDS damage textures. The skins are in jpg format, As is usual, all lighting is 100% historically correct.
Serial numbers are also historicaly correct for these Jugs, but should be considered "generic" in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft with the unit(s) depicted, But are correct for the model variants.

    When in-game, you'll see:

    Thunderbolt Mk.I (W)

    Thunderbolt Mk.II (W)

on the aircraft selection drop down menu. The "W" is for "Wolf". This will diferentiate them from any other Jugs (RAF, USAAF or otherwise) you may or may not have.

  12. SF2 WW2 Central Pacific (Marianas Islands) Height Field Fix

SF2 WW2 Central Pacific (Marianas Islands) Height Field Fix 4/27/2014

    - For SF2 WW2, PTO -

This is a fix for the unflattened sections of Aslito airfield, Saipan. This package
contains a new HFD (height field) that will replace the original.
The original terrain, for those that don't have it, is available at the following
    URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/8447-central-pacificmariana-islands-for-ww2-installs/

Be advised, the above listed/linked terrain is the SF/Wo* version (1stGen). I've
included my SF2 updated data ini, so you all won't be needing to make the SF2 shader
tweeks (if you don't have it updated to SF2 as yet).

    ------------------
    To use:

Simply unzip to a temp folder or you desktop. Then copy/paste the included /Terrains
folder DIRECTLY over the existing one in you PTO-centric mods folder.
    Allow the overwrite

    That's it!

  13. SF2 WW2 Central Pacific Terrain Fix-It Pak

    SF2 WW2 Central Pacific Terrain Fix-It Pak

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (REQUIRED!!) =

** Note: This mod will =ONLY= work correctly in a WW2 PTO mods folders built FROM the SF2NA exe. This is only REAL way to get all the proper coding necessary for the operational CV Zones. It will absolutely NOT work correctly in any other versions, and most definatly NOT at all in SF/Wo* 1stGens at any patch level **

This relatively small pak contains the necessary inis, a new _water.bmp, etc to bring the WW2 Central Pacific Terrain (aka "The Marianas") up to SF2NA standards at the July, 2012 patch.
It uses several 'NA-only' switches, the LimitedNations=TRUE statements, and a new _water.bmp with semi-correct CV zones (I say semi, as for ease of play, as the map is divided east/west for IJN and USN, as opposed to the historical version, with the USN TFs west of Guam). The _targets.ini has been slightly reworked, to remove the static parked aircraft, allowing the Game Engine ™ to populate them automatically. Perhaps incorrectly, but populated nonetheless :).

As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. It's reccomended you read the document through after unzipping, but BEFORE installing.

As always, the Notes and Other Nonesense section may make for entertaining and enlightning reading.
Please also read the New Standard Usage Discalimer, as it's been changed slightly to reflect a change in my policy. It's listed at the bottom, in the Legal Statement Section, with the URL back to the CA post.

    -- Something for the WW2 ETO/MTO players --
    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

A revamp, for SF2, of my Vichy French Hawk 75A (a mod of Wolf257's P-36 Mohawk).
Like the NEI & AdA versions, it has a semi-compliant SF2 FM (which, as always, needs further refinements by Experten). Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
A "repersentative" verion of those aircraft used in North Africa and Middle East (Syria/Lebanon).

All weapons (ok, the 7.5mm FN machine gun), pilot figure, sounds and new SF2-style Hangar/Loading screens are included.

The original Wolf cockpit has been replaced by one of Star's "Generic WW2 Cockpits" (in this case, Midwar #3). A "Destroyed Model" (converted from on the ww2 terrain static aircraft) is also included.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
The original Release Readme from the 1stGen version is included, for hysterical purposes, and it contains all the necessary credits and thank yous.

  15. SF2 WW2 Curtis-Wright Hawk 75A, French Armee De L'Air Package

Curtis-Wright Hawk 75A, French Armee De L'Air Package

    - For SF2, Full 4/5 Merged (Full 5 Reccomended)

An SF2 revamp of my original 1stGen AdA Hawk 75 Package.
This is a complete package including ALL parts necessary to unzip and install a new, export version of Wolf's P-36 Mohawk, for the French Air Force from the start of WW2, to the time of the 'Sitzkrieg', and then into the Battle of France.

This package contains 7 skins & decal sets for the following units:

    N124
    SPA67
    SPA95
    SPA153
    SPA155
    SPA160

By using my 'fake SqTail decal', those French AF squadrons listed in the game's SqudronList.ini will have there actual name show up on the Loadout Screen. Some I could match to present day, some I could not. A couple actually revert to the same 'parent unit'. Go figure!

Like the NEI and Vichey versions, it has a semi-compliant SF2 FM (which, as always, needs further refinements by Experten). Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
All weapons, guns and 'fake pilot' pylons, pilot figure, sounds and new SF2-style Hangar/Loading screens are included.

The original Wolf cockpit has been replaced by one of Star's "Generic WW2 Cockpits" (in this case, Midwar #3). Readouts have been semi-converted to Metric standards. A "Destroyed Model" (converted from on the ww2 terrain static aircraft) is also included.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
The original Release Readme from the 1stGen version is included, for purposes of historicality, and it contains all the necessary credits and thank yous and such likes.

    SF2 WW2 Curtiss A-25A Shrike Pak

-- Something for the WW2 players (and What Ifers, too, maybe?...) --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

US Army Air Force version of the USN's SB2C-1C Helldiver dive bomber.
The aircraft has been 'de-navalized', with the removal of the hook, and has non-folding wings.
Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. Serial numbers are historically accurate for this aircraft.
All markings on this aircraft are decals. This'll give the "What Ifers" a fairly blank canvas to create other fictional land-based users.

It should be noted, this aircraft NEVER served in a combat capacity, and never left the Continental US. They were regulated to training and target-tow duties. Don't know what you're going to do with it, but here it is.

This package is complete, with the aircraft, engine sound (AvHistory). Pilot figure and weapons (including guns) are NOT included. These are reused from the various USN SB2C paks.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

  17. SF2 WW2 Curtiss SB2C-3 Helldiver Pak

    SF2 WW2 Curtiss SB2C-3 Helldiver Pak 9/10/2013

-- Something for the PTO players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

    A new variant of Veltro2K's SB2C Helldiver.

This package represents SB2C-3 Helldiver US Navy Dive Bombers in the mid/late 1944 configuration. There is actually not much external difference between the 3, 4 and 5 models, but I thought it would be nice to have the mid-mark variant. This mod was started in sping 2103 and got lost in some file shuffeling. So, here it is completed.

This is a complete aircraft/skin/decal set, minus the weapons and pilot figures. These are all reused from the various other Helldiver packs I've released. The aircraft are finished in the standard Mid-1944 3-tone scheme.

Skin/Decal sets included in this pack are for...

    VB-7, USS Hancock

    VB-14, USS Wasp

As seen during the time frame of the Battle of the Phillipine Sea, and operations over the Phillipines. The historical WW2 squadron patchs, for each squadron, are used for the paint chip on their respective skins seen on the Loadout Screen.

Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. Other than the painted on national markings, all others are decals. This included the Modex and CVW "G" System symbols.

New to this mod are DDS format damage textures, replacing the tga type. These can easily be used on any other of the SB2C variants now available, with minimal editing of their main inis.
The Standard Animations Keystroke ™ are used for the wingfold, Shift/9. The pilot and gunner's canopies remains linked to gear retraction/extension.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.

Like the other Mossies I've re-released, a new (mostly) SF2 compliant FM was created. As per usual, fine tuning of the FM by experts is requested.
Sounds, pilot figures -including the FakePilot and Radar 'bow & arrow" antennas- and weapons (ok, the drop tanks) are included, as is a new SF2 "Box Art" style Hangar screen.

Skins/Decals included in this set are:

No.157 Squadron, in overall "Night" circa 1942
No.141 Squadron, in 1943-ish Sea Gray/Dark Green, Night unders

*There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, not all features will be avaliable. Plus all the other issues...*

Mods, rebuilds, reskining/redecaling for Pasko's Mosquitos. This is a compilation, in some respects, of many 1stGen WW2 mods of this aircraft. However, ALL the skins and decals ARE new builds.

Aircraft and Skins in the Pak are...

    Mosquite B. Mk.IV
    105 Squadron
    139 "Jamacia" Squadron

    Mosquito FB.VI
418 "City of Edmonton" Squadron, RCAF
    464 Squadron, RAAF

    Mosquito NF.XII
    96 Squadron

    Mosquito PR.IV
    1 PRU

...and one "just for fun" aircraft -- you all KNOW which movie Mosquito's I'm talking about!

When discoverable, the Squadron Crest is used for the 'color chip' on the Loadout Screen.
A new (mostly) SF2 compliant FM was created*. All loadouts have been corrected; gun round counts are now accurate. Unfortunately, due to AI problems, the FB.VI has all the guns set as "Primary".

Sounds, pilot figures and weapons are included, as are new SF2 versions of the Hangar screens, several of which are COMPLETLY new for this package.

SF2 WW2 DH TigerMoth by RussoUK

    -- Something for Anyone --

    = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

A new version of the DH Tigermoth, as seen in WW2 and the immeadiate post-war time frames.
This version now has (at no extra charge!!) bump mapping! There are 2 lods included; the one
set for use now has more subtle bumpping; the other a bit LESS subtle.

2 skins are inlucded, slightly revamped (read: partly repainted), and now with individual
Plane-in-group numbers/letters and serial number decals for:

"Camo": standard RAF day trainer scheme (I guess!); darkearth/green/yellow unders
"Silver": post-war, silver doped, from University of London Air School (iirc)

Most of the markings are painted on, with the exception of the Silver skin. All decals
positions have been plotted, which will make it easier for End Users that wish to, to create
other countries markings. A new Userlist.ini is included (for the most popular users, not
    all are listed).
An SF2 version of my original 'box art' hangar is included, in jpg format.
The partial template is also included. It's in the main aircraft folder for other skinners
    to 'have at it'.
This will give your fledgling flyers something to practice in. And it's a nice change to
just buzz around the countryside with, every once and a while.

**Note: this version is designed to REPLACE any/all previous versions!!**

  21. SF2 WW2 DLC #28 S-99 (Bf-109G) Mod Pak

    SF2 WW2 DLC #28 S-99 (Bf-109G) Mod Pak 3/10/2014

    -- Something for the WW2 players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*You =MUST= have DLC #28 to gain access to the stock 3W S-99 Lods*

Some modifications to the DLC Avia S-99, 'backdate' it to its WW2 beginnings.
The aircraft has had several modifications, not the least of which is the
    renaming to BF-109.

The skin is a 'base' light grey (RLM 81?). All new panel and rivet lines have
been drawn in. There is NO camoflague pattern, nor are the control surfaces
    fabric lines drawn in.

The templates I created ARE included, in the hopes someone can make use of them
and finish off the aircraft. Due to the resolution of the stock skins I used, I
was unable to see the control surface lines well enough, or to find a drawing
that matched well enough to try drawing them.
Several ini mods add a 'fake pilot' belly rack, so the drop tank or single bomb
will have something to attach too (as the Lod does NOT have this mesh). Some
modification to FM statements try to bring it closer to published data. It may
    need further tuning by experts.
Canopy opens with the Standard Animation Keystroke (Shift/0)

The skin included is a 'base' Luftwaffe (albeit, again with no camo). The
markings represent 11/JG 77 in late 1944. All markings are decals, and decal
    randomization is TRUE.

    When in-game, you'll see:

    Bf-109G10 (3W)

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are
included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!.
With any luck, one of our Expert skinners will grab this, and give us some
    nice Luftwaffe skins.

  22. SF2 WW2 Douglas TBD-1 Devastator Tweeks Pak (DAT)

SF2 WW2 Douglas TBD-1 Devastator Tweeks Pak (DAT)

    For SF2, Full-5 Merged (RECCOMENDED!!!)

*Designed for use in a PTO-centric mods folder built =FROM= the SF2:NA exe. NA coding is required for some statements I've changed/added.*
**This mod will NOT work in 1stGen SF/Wo* game installs. Those that attempt to do so, do so at their own risk. No support is/will be available. The skins will most likely work in SF/Wo*, if they are converted BACK to bmp from DDS. This has not, and cannot be tested by me. You have been warned/advised**
Those users that cannot access the DAT downloads, you're advised to skip this, as it's of no use to you.

This is a semi-complete aircraft mod, consisting of mostly skins, decals, inis and various and sundry other needed bits and parts.
This package contains a rebuild of my skins for the Dev A-Team's Douglas TBD Devestator naval attack/torpedo bomber.
It is desinged to be used with their latest lod,

TBD1A-R1.lod (dated 9/21/2011, make sure you get the Gen2 version!!)

The skins have been partly redone to match the new mapping, and are in DDS format.
Included are several modified inis, that correct/add/change some things. You are advised to BACKUP any/all originals. The Install instructions list which and what to delete or backup.

This package contains nearly 100% historical skins and decal markings for US Navy TBDs as seen at both the Battle of the Coral Sea, and The Battle of Midway; their hour of greatest Triumph and Tragedy. I say 'nearly' 100%, as I couldn't quite get some of the wear-and-tear and fabric effects on the skin exactly as they should be, or as I wanted. Also, the BuNums for the VT-2 skin are not 100% match to Modex. Colors have been FS matched, as best as possible, to BuAer spec.

    The units depicted are...

    Battle of the Coral Sea:

    VT-2 USS LEXINGTON

    Battle of Midway:

    VT-3, USS YORKTOWN
    VT-6, USS ENTERPRISE
    VT-8, USS HORNET

Unfortnately, I was unable to accurately 'pin down' the modex-to-BuNms-to-crew for VT-2 at Coral Sea. (I HAVE the crew listings, but not the BuNums)
For the Midway Devestator squadrons, Modex and BuNums have been matched =EXACTLY= to their partiuclar aircraft, exactly as placed within each division of each squadron on each ship represented here. A number list for each squadron is included, with the crew names for each aircraft. Their names will show on the Loadout screen.
Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins (which it actually shouldn't be -- the Midway Devestator's numbers.lst has them in their historicaly correct order). New damage textures, in DDS format, are supplied, as is an 'new' engine sound from the AvHistory set.
NOTE: for VT-3, #s 13 & 14 were spare aircraft, that went down with YORKTOWN when she was sunk; research seems to indicate they did not participate in the Battle.
Each skin's paint chip is the historically correct Squadron Patch.
New 'box art' style Hangar Screens are included; The Loading screen artwork depicts Ens. George Gay's attack on AKAGI (the sole survivor of VT-8 whom I had to honor of meeting some years ago)
Included is the new Mk.13 torpedo by Veltro2K

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! In fact, it would be better if one unzipped this archive FIRST, and read all the instructions BEFORE installing this mod. It will make things go easier.
All original DAT readmes are included, for historical and ownership/copyright purposes.

    Good Luck, and Good Hunting!

ps: I wanted to get this out by June 4, the anniversery of the Battle of Midway. I had NO idea the DAT would be releasing their All-Inclusive PTO until last night. This in no way changed my plans; but may make it easier for you all to use this.

This skin should have been in with the recently released ETO Bubbletop Jug pak (for Wolf's Jug), but I'd forgotten that I'd moved it to a storage folder. As I had to reskin it and make some new decals to replace Major Lee's originals (sorry Ken!!), here it is! It sorta 'fell through the cracks', and I apologize!

This pack contain the skin/decal set for the

53rd FS, 36th FG, 9th AF (NM only)

in early 1944 (pre-Invasion Striped). All new decals replace the originals by Major Lee, and Decal randomization set to TRUE. The NEW skin is in Jpg format. Serial numbers are 'generic' in nature, but are correct for the model/sub-variant depicted.

  24. SF2 WW2 ETO A-20G Pak (DAT)

    SF2 WW2 ETO A-20G Pak (DAT)
    = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)

**This mod -MAY- work in 1stGen game installs. But this has not/cannot be tested by me. **

This pak contains mods for the Dev A-Teams A-20G Havoc light attack bomber, as seen in
Western Europe (ETO) from 1943 through War's End. This is a semi-complete aircraft mod, as
per DAT directives, the aircraft lod is =NOT= included. So, those users that cannot access
the DAT downloads, you're advised to skip this, as it's of no use to you. Everything else,
minus guns and bombs, is included.
Those users with access, will be transfering the lod from from a seperate DAT download of
the A-20G. This mod has been built and tested with the
A-20_Havoc-R4.LOD, dated 10/21/2005 from their WW2 Aircraft Downloads section. You =WILL=
need that, to copy/paste into THIS aircraft's folder.

The skins from my Home Grown Template ™, and remain in their bmp format. New decals
were created as needed for serials, plane-in-group letters and others. The serials are
'generic' in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft within the units depicted,
but ARE for the model variant represented.
Weapons (bombs) and guns are NOT included; you should have them already.
The skins included herein are, "new builds" that were previously unreleased anywhere.

    They are:

    645th Bomb Squadron, 410th Bomb Group (7X)
    646th Bomb Squadron, 410th Bomb Group (8U)

I chose the 410th BG, as they used their Havocs from later 43 until the war's end. They
had started converting to A-26, but never fully converted by May 45.

All markings are decals, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
All the 1stGen Hangar and Loading screens were either rebuilt to SF2-spec, or created new
for this package. They are in jpg format. Damage textures are new, in DDS format.
Various inis may make use of the 'hide component' or the 'open cockpit' statements to make
sure the cockpits are where they're supposed to be. This may prevent them for working in
1stGens at any patch level. 1st Gen End Users ™ can experiment on their own.
The Canopy (ok, cockpit hatch) has been switched to the Standard Animation Keystroke ™,
    Shift/0.
The FM, while far better than the 2005 release, may need further small adjustments. But it
    flys fine for me! :)

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE
    read them!!!

    Happy Landings!

  25. SF2 WW2 ETO A-26B Invader Pak

    SF2 WW2 ETO A-26B Invader Pak

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --
    = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred -PLUS Expansion Pak 1) =

*Note: there is a DISTINCT possibility that this mod, like it's KAW brother, will =NOT= work in 1stGen installs, at any patch level. Having SF2I Expansion Pak 1 is reccomended, as the loadout references the Stock 3W WW2 bombs.*

A reskining of Bobrock's SUPERB B-model Invader, recreate those as used from late 1944 through war's end in the European Theatre of Operations.
This is a complete aircraft pak, with all the trimmings. Skins/Decal sets included are for the following units:

    670th BS, 416th BG, 9th AF
    552nd BS, 386th BG, 9th AF

(actually, ALL Invader units in the ETO were in the 9th)
Skins are in DDS format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. There are no nose arts, unfortunately, in this pak.

Weapons, for the most part are NOT included. The bombs used reference those from SF2I ExpPak1, but are easily swapped out for the older WepPak version by a simple loadout ini text edit. Pilot figures (the gunner) is included, and a NEW engine engine sound; now using the AvHistory R2600 x2 sound.
The Standard Animation Keystroke (shift/0) opens the canopy.

    When 'in game', you'll see...

    A-26B Invader (BR)

on the Aircraft Selection Drop down menu. This, also, will help to diferentiate the aircraft from any other Invader you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. And the "Notes" section, too. Important changes there.

    Good Hunting!!
