  1. Morane-Saulnier Ms.500 Criquet

Immediately after the liberation of France in 1944, the production of Storch at the Morane-Saulnier factory was continued at the request of the Armée de l'Air and designated MS 500 for the batch of aircraft produced with the remaining stock of Argus engines. Further modification and use of different engines (inline and radial) are known under different type. The use of the aircraft in Indochina highlighted the weakness of the wood in the construction of the airframe; it was then decided to build the wings in metal. Among the modifications, the defensive weapon aiming through the back window was dropped, although some aircraft have then been modified on the field to take a machine gun MAC 34T firing through one of the side windows. 141 aircraft were built before the end of World War II and a total of 925 aircraft were built before the end of the production of all type of Criquet by Morane-Saulnier in 1965.

  2. Potez 540

The Potez 540 was a French multi-role aircraft of the 1930s. Designed and built by Potez, it served with the French Air Force as a reconnaissance bomber, also serving with the Spanish Republican Air Force during the Spanish Civil War. Although obsolete as a bomber, it remained in service in support roles and in France's overseas colonies at the start of World War II.

  3. Farman F.222

The Farman F.222 and its derivatives were thick-sectioned, high-winged, four engined monoplanes from Farman Aviation Works. Based on the push-pull configuration proven by the F.211, design started in August 1925 and the first flight of the prototype was on May 26, 1932. The definitive F.222 variant was the biggest bomber to serve in France between the world wars.

The C.714 were a series of light fighter aircraft developed by Caudron-Renault for the French Armée de l'Air just prior to the start of World War II. One version, the C.714, saw limited production, and were assigned to Polish pilots flying in France after the fall of Poland in 1939. A small number were also supplied to Finland.

    Lioré-et-Olivier LeO 45

Lioré-et-Olivier LeO 45 was a French medium bomber used during World War II. It was a low-wing monoplane, all metal in construction, equipped with a retractable undercarriage and powered by two 1,060 hp Gnome-Rhône 14N engines. The prototype had two 1,100 hp Hispano-Suiza engines. It was a very effective bomber, but it appeared too late to give any substantial contribution to the war effort. Although designed before World War II, it remained in service until September 1957.

  7. Bloch MB.131

The Bloch MB.130 and its derivatives were a series of French monoplane reconnaissance-bombers developed during the 1930s. They saw some limited action at the beginning of World War II but were obsolete by that time and suffered badly against the Luftwaffe. After the fall of France, a few were pressed into Luftwaffe service.

  8. Dewoitine D.520

    Dewoitine D.520

Dewoitine D.520 was French fighter aircraft that entered service in early 1940, shortly after the opening of World War II. Unlike the Morane-Saulnier M.S.406, which was at that time the most numerous fighter of the French Air Force, the Dewoitine D.520 came close to being a match for the latest German types, such as the Messerschmitt Bf 109. It was slower than the Bf 109E but superior in manoeuvrability. Because of a delayed production cycle, only a small number were available for combat with the Luftwaffe.

  13. Morane-Saulnier M.S.406

The M.S.406 was a French Armée de l'Air fighter aircraft built by Morane-Saulnier starting in 1938. Numerically, it was France's most important fighter during the opening stages of World War II.

Although sturdy and highly manoeuverable, it was under-powered and weakly armed when compared to its contemporaries. Most critically, it was out-performed by the Messerschmitt Bf 109E during the Battle of France. The M.S.406 held its own in the early stages of the war (the so-called Phoney War), but when the war restarted in earnest in 1940, losses to all causes amounted to approximately 400 aircraft. Out of this total some 150 were lost to enemy fighters and ground fire, another 100 were destroyed on the ground in enemy air raids and the remainder was deliberately destroyed by French military personnel to prevent the fighters from falling into enemy hands intact. In return M.S.406 squadrons achieved 191 confirmed victories and another 83 probable victories. The type was more successful in the hands of Finnish and Swiss air forces who developed indigenous models.

  14. SF2 WW2 Curtis-Wright Hawk 75A, French Armee De L'Air Package

Curtis-Wright Hawk 75A, French Armee De L'Air Package

    - For SF2, Full 4/5 Merged (Full 5 Reccomended)

An SF2 revamp of my original 1stGen AdA Hawk 75 Package.
This is a complete package including ALL parts necessary to unzip and install a new, export version of Wolf's P-36 Mohawk, for the French Air Force from the start of WW2, to the time of the 'Sitzkrieg', and then into the Battle of France.

This package contains 7 skins & decal sets for the following units:

    N124
    SPA67
    SPA95
    SPA153
    SPA155
    SPA160

By using my 'fake SqTail decal', those French AF squadrons listed in the game's SqudronList.ini will have there actual name show up on the Loadout Screen. Some I could match to present day, some I could not. A couple actually revert to the same 'parent unit'. Go figure!

Like the NEI and Vichey versions, it has a semi-compliant SF2 FM (which, as always, needs further refinements by Experten). Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
All weapons, guns and 'fake pilot' pylons, pilot figure, sounds and new SF2-style Hangar/Loading screens are included.

The original Wolf cockpit has been replaced by one of Star's "Generic WW2 Cockpits" (in this case, Midwar #3). Readouts have been semi-converted to Metric standards. A "Destroyed Model" (converted from on the ww2 terrain static aircraft) is also included.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
The original Release Readme from the 1stGen version is included, for purposes of historicality, and it contains all the necessary credits and thank yous and such likes.

A revamp, for SF2, of my Vichy French Hawk 75A (a mod of Wolf257's P-36 Mohawk).

A "repersentative" verion of those aircraft used in North Africa and Middle East (Syria/Lebanon).

All weapons (ok, the 7.5mm FN machine gun), pilot figure, sounds and new SF2-style Hangar/Loading screens are included.

  16. SF2 WW2 French Fighters Pak

    SF2 WW2 French Fighters Pak

    = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)

**Note: due to the extensive modifications to the cockpit and data ini, this mod will absolutely -NOT- work in 06 level 1stGen game installs. 08 Level 1stGens may have some issues, but this has not/cannot be tested by me.**

*Notex2: this package is a little on the heavy side, due to the inclusion of the skin templates for both aircraft*

This pak contains a reissue of Veltro2K's WW2 French Air Force (Armée de l'Air) fighter aircraft. These are the complete aircraft, with various/sundry changes.
This pak contains: (Note: the D.520 has been split into AdA and Vichy "Nationalized" useaircraft, in
    essence, 2 different birds)

    Morane-Saulnier MS.406
    GC 1/2 (BoF timeframe)

    Dewoitine D-520 (AdA)
    4 CG II/7 (BoF timeframe)

    Dewoitine D.520 (Vichy)*
GC III/3, North Africa (a bit 'generic' in nature- vichy)
GC II/3, Syria 1941 (Vichy French AF -vichy1)

*(This is the nationalized version. The aircraft folder is called D-520_V, and will display "Dewoitine D.520 (Vichy)" on the aircraft selection dropdown menu)
**Note: the Vichy D.520 resides in a seperate folder called "z--Vichy for MTO Installs". It is structured EXACTLY like the others, but without the Sounds, Pilots, Guns sub-folders. You will have to copy these twice***

Skins are in jpg format, and were created from a (patent pending) Home Grown Template ™. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. Some new decals were created, and NO pretense of historicality is to be confered) on them (see Note below). Damage textures are in DDS format.
BOTH templates are included for use by other skinners. Improvements/corrections are WELCOMED!
Weapons (ok, the French guns) are included.

All the 1stGen Hangar and Loading screens were either rebuilt to SF2-spec, or created new for this package.
Ini tweeks include (but not limited to) "newish" flight models -which, as always need some further refinments by Experten (no, seriously! they REALLY do!! Please!! somebody buld better ones!!), replacement/repainted cockpits, new gunsights, and AvHistory engine sounds.
See "Changes" in the Notes section for more details.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for the change list, and other important notations. Also, the Legal Statement has been changed with regards to these aircraft.
For those that still have the original releases, it's advised you delete the aircraft and decals folders for them; this pak is desinged to replace them in total.

**These aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition. The source files have been lost, and there can and WILL be no modifications to the physical model. They 'are as they is' and you must accept them with this caveat in mind. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be created**
