  1. SF2 WW2 MTO Spitfire Mk.5, 352 Sqdn (Yugoslavia)

    SF2 WW2 MTO Spitfire Mk.V Trop 352 Squadron (Yugoslavia) by Cocas & Co 7/23/2017

-- Something for the Med players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*This mod will NOT work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, at any patch level. Don't even bother trying.

Note : This mod represents Mk.V Trops used by the Balkans Air Force, specificly RAF No. 352 (Yugoslavia) Squadron. Even though the entire squadron was composed of Yugoslavian nationals, I've left it under the "RAF" nation tag. These do have a specific "time frame" for operation.

This is a full, complete aircraft mod for use in the MTO. All necessary items are included. Even though we lack a WW2 Balkans terrains, I thought it would be interesting to have "something a bit different" than all the usual Spitfire users.

In breaking with my usual tradition, the wing roundels and fin flash are painted on. All other marking (fuselage insignia, serial numbers, "plane in squadron" letters and nose art are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. Serials/ID letters and nose arts are 100% historiclly correct, and are matched to their proper aircraft. Unfortunately, I could only find information on 10 aircraft, so that is what you're getting. The aircraft is finished in standard Euro camo, not MTO desert (profiles/photos corroborate this).

The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0. Guns are also grouped, MGs in Group 1, the cannon in Group 2.
Many other changes, mostly to minor adjustments have been performed. See "Notes" section for change list.

    When in game, you'll see:

    Spitfire Mk.Vb Trop Y (CAF)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate =THIS= Spitfire from any other RAF Mk.Vs you may (or may not) have. The "Y" designates it for "Partisan Air Force".

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.

    Good Hunting!

  2. XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: Consolidation

    XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: Consolidation 5/3/2017

This is the 15th set of a total of 20 mission sets/TODs that cover the time from just before the Battle of Yavin, to after the Fall of the Empire.

These are to be used/placed into your ...Balance of Power/Combat folder.

In this set the Loyalist forces, under the Secret Order, have established a base in the Delya system, out of sight of prying eyes. Here, they hope to consolidate what they have collected, and establish themselves as a safe haven for Imperials fleeing the New Republic. Your task is to maintain the security of the system, and that of nearby 'buffer zones' to keep Alliance forces away from the civilian population. It will not be an easy task.

All missions have been edited for fairness & balance (hopefully!), due the the enhanced AI and weapons effectivness in XvT/BoP. All have new briefings and descriptions. I've added LOTS of radio messages to act as "in game hints" and to further plot lines. Please pay attention to them, as some may save your life or your mission critcal craft.
Also, when possible, other craft in the mission can be selected for Player use, or for multi-player.

As always, =PLEASE= read the install instructions. Of course, the usual "Notes" and other nonesense.

Please note that this mission set =WILL= require one or another of the available Ship/Craft Patchs.

This is the 14th set of a total of 20 mission sets/TODs that cover the time from from just before the Battle of Yavin, to after the Fall of the Empire.

    The Empire has fallen!
In this set, surviving Loyalists under the command of the leader of the Secret Order are trying to gather other forces and collect information as to what has happened, and IS happening in the Core sectors (Coruscant) of what once was Imperial space. You will be tasked with protecting Imperial assets, and collecting whatever is available to allow your forces to escape the "New Republic" and form a new base of operations. What the future holds for those loyal to The Empire, is not knowable at this time.

  4. XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: The Fall Begins

XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: The Fall Begins 3/29/2017

This is the 13th set of a total of 20 mission sets/TODs that cover the time from from just before the Battle of Yavin, to after the Fall of the Empire.

The set begins to chronicle the events as they unfold in the time frame directly after the Battle of Endor. It has Loyalist Imperial forces trying to defend and collect themselves before the Rebel Alliance (re)takes the Galaxy. You will be assisting the Secret Order, now out in the open, to maintin some semblance of Imperial order in the face of the total collapse of the Empire.
Follow on sets (still to come) continue this tale of woe, as Loyalist forces try to pull themselves together, and maintain some form of cohesion, while striking back at the Alliance, and other disloyal parties, whenever possible.

These are to be used/placed into your ...Balance of Power/Combat folder.

  5. XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: Traitor's End

    XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: Traitor's End 3/12/2017

This is the 12th set of a total of 20 mission sets/TODs that cover the time from from just before the Battle of Yavin, to just after the Fall of the Empire.

With the end of the Uprising, and the destruction of it's leaders, things have (almost) returned to normal in these outlying sectors. In this set, you'll be resuming normal duties protecting Imperial interests, and running down the last remenants of Zaarin's forces in concert with Admiral Thrawn's efforts in several nearby sectors.

These are to be used/placed into your ...Balance of Power/Combat folder.

As always, =PLEASE= read the install instructions. Of course, the usual "Notes" and other nonsense. There's also, for the first time, a "Hints" section. Don't read unless you want to cheat...remember the Secret Order WILL know this!!

Please note that this mission set =WILL= require one or another of the available Ship/Craft Patches.

When flying the Missile Boat, pay attention to the notation in all briefing descriptions:

  6. XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: Uprising's Ending

    XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: Uprising's Ending 3/3/2017

This is the 11th set of a total of 20 mission sets/TODs that cover the time from from just before the Battle of Yavin, to after the Fall of the Empire.

In this set, continuing the story from NTB10, Imperial forces have finally cornered the leaders of the Uprising. Having fought them back and forth across these Outer Rim sectors, they've been run to ground.
You will be tasked with the usual missions - interception, scouting and finally, the destruction of the leaders and their command ship. Once this is accomplished, the local Fleets can return to the business of putting down that annoying "Alliance to Restore the Republic".

These are to be used/placed into your ...Balance of Power/Combat folder.

  7. XvT/BoP Alliance Mission Set: TROJAN SQUADRON

XvT/BoP Alliance Mission Set: TROJAN SQUADRON 11/11/2015

(works with original CD version and new GoG version)

For XvT =w/Bop= Addon, or GoG version (as the B-Wing is needed, & missions are saved in BoP format)

Operating from a secure base deep in Alliance held territory, Trojan Group conducts highly specalized infiltration missions. With several ex-Imperial or Old Republic starships, it is a highly mobile force ready to strike deeper into Imperial space than any other unit.

IMPORTANT NOTE: while this is a Rebel Alliance mission set (and labeled as such), because of HOW it's set up, you'll =ONLY= be able to fly this with your Imperial pilot. While I'm sure you could add these to the rebel.lst, during testing I experienced MAJOR failures of the game. So, for saftey's sake, be an Imp for these. Create a new pilot if necessary (reccomended).

These missions are to be used/placed into your ...Balance of Power/Combat folder.

Most of these missions have additional goals, LOTS of radio messages (which are often used as in-game hints), and "eye candy" added. They have been converted & almost completely rebuilt from their TFCD origins. Several use classic Sci-Fi Easter Eggs. See if you can find them!!

As always, PLEASE read this enclosed readme for full, detailed install instructions. Give the "Notes" & "Story" sections a read too for notes and background information!

XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: Give and Take 2/21/2017

This is the 10th set of a total of 20 mission sets/TODs that cover the time from from just before the Battle of Yavin, to just after the Fall of the Empire.

In this set, the combined Uprisal/Traitor/Rebel forces have gained the upper hand, and are out to increase the size and capability of their space forces. This cannot be allowed. You'll be doing everything possible to stop them, and if they've succeed in their plans, turning the tables and destroying them. You'll be defending Imperial assets, harrassing the enemies, and eventually forcing them out of anyplace they've gained.

These are to be used/placed into your ...Balance of Power/Combat folder.

In this set, you are tasked with protecting and defending assets from reprisal raids by the enemies of the Empire. This is the 8th set of a total of 20 mission sets/TODs that cover the time from from just before the Battle of Yavin, to just after the Fall of the Empire.

In this set, while starting out rather simply, rapidly changes to a fight for survival, as enemy forces have singled out YOU for extermination. After escaping multiple attempts on your life, you join with the Secret Order to turn the tables on your would-be assasins. But, the tables get turned again, and once more you and your companions are in a fight for your lives...

This is the 7th set of a total of 20 mission sets/TODs that cover the time from from just before the Battle of Yavin, to just after the Fall of the Empire.

Following closely on the heels of NTB6, you will find yourself fully involved in repulsing, pursuing and attempting to end the activities of the Upraisal and Imperial Traitors, and of course those pesky Rebels. Working closely together, the Imperial Navy and the Secret Order will strive tirelessly to chase them to their ultimate end.

BE ADVISED: a ship/craft patch =IS= required for this mission set, due to the addition of several of the smaller craft (SCT), some additional cargo ships (CNTRNS) and a new fighter (although only seen in one mission). Balance of Power is also required, as the B-wing finally makes it's appearence.

  14. XvT-BoP Draconis Ship Patch

    XvT-BoP Draconis Ship Patch 1/2/2017

This ship patch was originally for old versions Win95/98 versions, the instructions herein are moddified for use with newer GoG version of XvT-Bop.

It is VITALLY important that this document be read all the way through before attempting installation of ANY of the files included herein. The files provided are "as is", as they originate circa 1997. You will be copying and pasting the various files and folders, as the original install bat file no longer works in Win7 and higher operating systems (well, at least for me).

For those that remember the "old days", this ship patch will add various and sundry ships to BOTH XvT and BoP, fighter types, crago craft and starships for use by both sides of the Galactic Cival War. See the enclosed original SPReadMe.txt for a more detailed listing.
Most, if not all, of the upcoming mission set conversions by me will =require= several of the ships in this craft patch set.

To make things even safer, it is required that you ==BACKUP== your entire original XvT game folder, with everything inside, to a safe location BEFORE INSTALLING ANY OF THESE FILES. Seriously, I really mean it! Do the safe thing!!

I've written, what I hope to be, fairly simple but detailed install instructions. Included are several images (jpgs) to help illustrate the install proceedures.

Any questions, comments, or issues, please post in them here at CombatAce, in this release announcement thread. We'll try to get any problems ironed out. But it's a fairly straight forward install proceedure.
So, PLEASE read it all the way through before attempting the install!!

    Happy Flying!!

This is the fourth of 20 full battles for Imperial players, covering the time frame from before the Battle of Yavin, to after the Fall of the Empire.

In this set, you are now attached to ISD Commandant. You have been tasked to track down and destroy a group of pirates known as "The Scavengers", who are most likely in colusion with the Rebels. Under Admiral Malp's command, FRG Skylark, CRV Astra and his ISD, have been ordered to clean up the mess this sector has become. See to it that order is restored, and Imperial commerce can thrive.

We are calling this "version 0.9", as there exists the possibility of more work being required. But, we wanted to get them out into the hands of our WW2 End Users ™ for their examinations and so forth.

**REMINDER: this pack is for PTO Razorback Jugs -only-!!! And by PTO, this means SoWesPac, NOT CBI, not the Solomons, etc!!! This would include New Guinea, points north and west, and obviously the Philipines. Other theatres will follow as they are completed.**

This pak contains 2 complete aircraft, representing the Razorback P-47D-2/D-10 in early/mid 1943, and the later D-15 thru D-20 Razorback Thunderbolt as seen in late 1943 (November-ish) through (nearly the) war's end, in the SoWesPac regions of the PTO (read: 5th AF).

    Skin(s) included are:

    P-47D-5 (early model):
    340th FS, 348th FG (SWP, mid-1943 scheme w/star-and-ball)

    P-47D-20 (later model):
    340th FS, 348th FG (SWP, late 43/early 44 w/star-and-bar)
    310th FS, 58th FG, (SWP/New Guinea region, late 43/early 44)

All markings are decals, and Decal randomization is TRUE.
The aircraft is finished in standard 0D/Grey, with Southwest Pacfic markings.
Please note, SWP Theatre, Squadron and/or Group specific markings -ARE- painted on.
The serials herein should be considered "generic" in nature, but ARE for the correct model variant. For the most part, there are NO nose arts, with the exception of a few for the 340th, "borrowed" from Major Lee's 348th FG skin set.

All the 1stGen Hangar and/or Loading screens were either rebuilt to SF2-spec, or created new for this package. They are in jpg format, and fit SF2 styling. Damage textures are also new, in DDS format.
The canopy opens/closes with the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0
Pilots, sounds, weapons are all included.
Templates for this aircraft will be issued as a seperate release, for those skinners that wish to do other units/theatres.

As there are several P-74D Razorbacks available, when in game you'll see:

    P-47D-5 Thunderbolt (CAF)(Mid 43)
    P-47D-20 Thunderbolt (CAF)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate it from any others that are around (Wolf or DAT).
For those with the SWP/PTO Razorback mods I've done for Wolf's P-47, this mod is designed to compliment, NOT replace it. However... it's your choice to keep them or not.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as usual, PLEASE!! give the "Notes" section a read, too.

  17. XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: Pursuit of Brightness

XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: Pursuit of Brightness 12/11/2016

In this set, your Task Group will be chasing down and destroying the Rebel Cruiser Brightness, seen escaping in the previous missions (NTB 02).
For this, you have been transfered to the Nebulon-B Frigate Skylark, under command of Admiral Malp. CRV Astra has been assigned to Malp's Task Group.

See to it that this Rebel ship never returns to it's base!!

These are to be used/placed into your ...Balance of Power/Combat folder.

As always, =PLEASE= read the install instructions. Of course, the usual "Notes" and other nonesense.

  18. Southern California - Ver 2.0

Southern California Terrain Ver.2 for SF/WoV/WoE -and possibly FE, WoI and SF2

This terrain mod is designed to COMPLETLY replace the version I released in 2008; however, you will probably need some of the Ground Objects included in that pak.

This semi-fictional terrain represents the Southern California region, along with parts of Nevada, Northern California, Arizona, Baja Mexico and various and sundry parts in between. I use the term 'semi-fictional', as for the most part, the cities and airfields are relatively close to their real life locations, but some fictional target areas have been added for playability. As close as I can, I've tried to match the actual positions of cities, air bases, etc, and used their actual names. Considering that I live in Los Angeles, and have been to a LOT of the places depicted.... This is a very heavily populated map, a heavily defended map, with all kinds of eye candy, plus LOTS of "Easter Eggs". A repainted version of airfield 3 (the dirt strip) is also included; ala Fubar's version, it's been paved over.

I've designed this to be used in the alternative world of the "Global Sedition" vs the "North American Alliance". It is, however, usable in any era from 1940-2040, with minor changes in the targets and types inis.

It is based on USAFMTL's SCal map from his Top Gun mod from several looong years ago.

This package contain just about everything you'll need, from new inis, HFD & TFD, tiles -including a whole bunch of new ones, and their associated TODs- LOTS of new fixed terrain objects (destroyed buildings of all flavors).

It has been -almost- completly rebuilt, with the creation of briefing, movement, a completely NEW targets and types ins, and upgrading the data ini to the latest standards. Water effects are active, so Vista users take note...more information for you is below in the Install Instructions. See "Notes for Vista Users", below, if you're using an unpatched version(s) of the games.

It is reccomended (read: REQUIRED) that you have Pasko's SAMs and Vehicles Pak installed in your GroundObject folder; either or both the Desert or Euro skinned vehicles, plus any additional vehicles such as Kesselbrut's ZIL truck pak, Infantry paks, Moonjumper's fix for the BM-14-16 (adds working Kytusha rockets) and any other SAMS or AAA, vehicles or whatever strikes your fancy. With such an 'open ended' time frame for use, any and all GroundObjects should be available for use.

It has been tested in SF, WoE and WoV. It should work in FE & WoI with the correct cat pointer -- this has NOT been tested, however. It should also work in SF2, as long as you adjust the cat pointer lines in the main ini.

As to be expected, there's a pretty detaile readme enclosed -- so read it first after unzipping and before installing. Vital instructions, and so forth and so on inside that'll make things a bit easier for you.

  19. F-109 "Tweeks Pak" for SF2

    Bell (X)F-109 "AiraCobra II"

    - For SF2 (Any and All, but Full-4/5 Merged Prefered) -

*This mod makes use of the F-4B cockpit and avionics inis, which should be available in all versions, excepting perhaps a stand-alone SF2:I. Hence, the 'Full-4 Merged' tag. It is the prefered type of install*

An update of the update from 8/2011...now re-uploaded.

Some mods for Veltro2K's (X)F-109 VTOL Interceptor bring it more in line for SF2. Modifications include (but not limited to):

    Skin slightly repainted
All new decals for serial and Buzz Numbers.
Squadron markings for the 48th FIS from Langley AFB
    Skin converted to jpg format
Cockpit switched to stock F-4B (closest match)
Canopy switched to manual animation key (use Shift/0)
Weapons fit and mission statements more in line with a 'point defence interceptor'
Reuse of classic Bell WW2 Fighter Name ™
Decal randomization is set to TRUE, so be at least at the May or June 2011 patch level to take advantage of this feature.
    And many others.

The pak is to be applied DIRECTLY over the orignal download, availble at the following URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/13169-bell-xf-109/

The aircraft LOD is NOT included. Weapons are not included; most are available from the GunnyPak (the 2 Falcons)

1stGen users please note: this is designed for SF2 usage; if used in SF/Wo* there may be incompatabilites that may cause unwanted failures. Use in a 1stGen environment at your own risk.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Of course, the usual "Notes" section. Which contains vital Operational Information ™. So read it!
Veltro2k's original readme is also included. With thanks to V2K!

  20. SF2 DH Venom NF.3 by Veltro2K

    SF2 DH Venom NF.3 by Veltro2K 9/13/2016

    = For SF2, Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED! =

This is the release of the De Havilland Venom NF.3 Night/All Weather figher by Veltro2k.

The aircraft comes with 3 skins:

    RAF:
    No. 23 Squadron
    No. 141 Squadron

    Swedish Flygvapnet:
    F1 Hasslo (J-33)

All markings are decals and decal randomization is TRUE. All items; sounds, pilots, drop tank are supplied. All other weapons use stock 3W items. Serial numbers (RAF version) while correct for the variant, should be considered 'generic' in nature not representing any specific unit. IIRC, the Swedish numbering should be 100% historicly correct.
Other RAF squadrons are easily made by creating the "bar-roundel" decal seen on the tail booms.
The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystrokes; shift/0 (zero)

    When in-game, you'll see

    Venom NF.3 (v2k)

on the Aircraft selection drop down menu. This will diferentiate it from any others you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Give the "notes" a browse, too!

  21. SF2 WW2 F8F-1 Bearcat (PTO)

    SF2 WW2 F8F-1 Bearcat 7/22/2016

"A Somewhat What If aircraft for WW2 PTO '46"

***Note: Due to massive changes in the skins, decals, and inis, if you have created a WW2 Version of the Bearcat, you ARE advised to move, remove, rename or otherwise hide it from the Game Engine. THIS mod will cause conflicts, due to aforementioned changes, with many of the original parts.***

This full aircraft package includes mods to Geo's F8F Bearcat, (re)creating the original 600-odd F8F-1 versions as deployed from August, 1945, just as the War ended. I've made the assumption, for PTO '46 users, that the A-Bombs, for whatever reason, were not used and the aircraft entered full squadron service for Operations Olympic and Coronet.
See the 'Changes' section in the "Notes" below.

The package includes 2 skin & decal sets:

VF-19 (USS Langley, CVL-27) as seen in 8/45, enroute to the War Zone, as the war ended)
VF-3 (USS Coral Sea, if the CVB class carriers had entered the war in the later parts of 1945)

With the exception of the nation marking, which remain painted on, all other markings are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. Many are by Geo from the original release. Other (modex) are by me. The ship code letters ARE correct for the late 45 thru late 46 time frame. The skins have been partly repained to remove the incorrect "G" system marking used on the orignal VF-19 skin. Skins remain in bmp format. As they carry no markings, this will allow other skinners the freedom to create other carrier air group codes, although new modex numbers will probably be required as well.
The hangar screen is an SF2 version of my 1st Gen "Box Art" one.

All weapons (drop tanks), sounds and a pilot figure are included. Other weapons used (rocket, bombs, etc) use those you should already have in the WW2 Weapons Pack.

The canopy opens with the standard keystroke, Shift/0 (zero). Wingfold is =NOT= active, as it never was when originally released in 2006. The aircraft is NOT exported, having only the single user, the US Navy.
The aircraft has been given a Service Start Date of of July, 1945. The data ini contains a new (if somewhat experimental FM, but MUCH closer to stated performances). It may require further fine tuning by experts; to that end I've included the USN BuAer's "Standard Performance" chart PDF within the main aircraft folder. This is for those remaining FM gurus to use, if they wish, to further refine the FM.

As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. PLEASE read it before installing, ok?
As always, read the "Notes" section for notes and other ramblings

  22. SF2 WW2 BT2D "Skyraider" (AD-1)

    SF2 WW2 BT2D "Skyraider" (AD-1) 7/21/2016

"A Somewhat What If aircraft for WW2 PTO '46"

**Note: consider this 'version 3.0', replacing the SF/Wo* version based on MontyCZ Skyraider I'd done many years ago. THIS version replaces that one completely. Delete it if you still have it.**

*Note you =MUST= have SF2:V as part of your merged install, as the mod references the stock A-1H lod for the aircraft.*

The is a semi-what if aircraft, as the BT2D did exist (and was renamed the AD-1 in 1947). This mod assumes that the aircraft WAS deployed to the Western Pacific in WW2, in the event that the development and/or usage of the A-Bombs was curtailed for some reason.

The aircraft comes with three skin/decal sets (although only one actual skin residing in the main folder; the "Brain32 trick".)

    VB-14 (USS WASP)
    VT-88 (USS YORKTOWN)
    VB-19 (USS CORAL SEA)

The skin remains in bmp format. All markings are decals and decal randomization is TRUE. All Aircraft carry the new style (post-July 1945) "letter code" ship identification tags. These ARE correct for the time from 7/45 - 12/46(ish). VT88 & VB19 also make use the "hundreds" series modex numbers, which also started usage 7/45. VB14 remains with is double digit modex numbers. Several other ship ID code decal are provided, for those wishing to replace other SB2C & TBM units with the BT2D. Other units can be easily made if one knows their code letters (I do!) Other units may require new, different sequenced modex number decals.

All weapons, sounds and a pilot figure are included. The canopy opens with the standard keystroke, Shift/0 (zero). Wingfold is active, by using it's standard keystroke, Shift/9, but it's not reccomended to fold the wings when loaded, as due to some sort of game limitation, the weapons will NOT move with the wing (no matter how much I've tried to fix that).
The aircraft has been given a "start date' of of June, 1945.
The aircraft is equipped with radar, (AN/APS-4) in an external pod, and is speced to carry and deploy just about all USN weapons of the period, including "Bat" glide bombs, and torpedos.

As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions.

  23. BT2D Dauntless 2 (Ver 2.0)

Douglas BT2D "Dauntless II" Version 2.0 - for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE WW2 PTO installs patched to 06 levels -ONLY-!!

Updated to Version 2.0, Uploaded 5/18/09!!

-- NOTE: this package is designed to TOTALLY replace my original release from 2005, in it's entirety!! --

This is a complete reskin and redecaling of MontyCZ's A-1H Skyraider into a "What If..." variant of it's predecessor, the BT2D "Dauntless II", had it been available for use in the world of WW2: 1946, in the Pacific Theatre.

This version, as stated above, replaces the original. It's gone through some updating, but still remains pretty much the same. All new decals have been created (and properly done THIS time!) with correct Modex, and new BuNums. The BuNums themselves are actually AD-1 series numbers, but as the BT2D was renamed in 1947 TO the AD-1, this poses no historical conflicts. A new skin, with appropriate weathering, based of new templates, is also included. Some other 'fixes' include the renaming of some bits in the data ini, so's they 'disappear' when not used, and the addition of more formation/running lights and a landing light.

The aircraft depicted in the mod represents BT2Ds of VA-19A, the first squadron to recieve them, and be carrier qualified (that part really is true), aboard USS Coral Sea in 1945.

This is a COMPLETE addon aircraft, with all necessary parts, including an excessively repainted version of the A-4E cockpit (it's the closest there is -- see NOTES below for alternates). For those not having the WW2 Weapons pak, the AN/APS-4 radar pod and 300 gallon AD Blue drop tanks are included.

= IMPORTANT: This aircraft has been tested ONLY in 2006 Patch Levels SF/WoV/WoE. Be advised of the existence of some handling issues prevelant in WW2 era and many Pre-Patch (ie: 06 level) aircraft being used in the post 08 patch enviroments. It is NOT reccomended for use in WoI or SF/SFG/WoV/WoE in these post 08 patch game installs. It is also NOT reccomended for use in the SF2/SF2:V new series. If you insist on doing so, you do so at your own risk. No support is available from me for any issues you may experience. You have been warned/advised...

As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions.
Also included, at the bottom of this document, is the Alternate History essay, telling the story of the Dauntless IIs use against the Home Islands.

  24. F4U-1D, VMF-112 Skin Pak

VMF-112, F4U-1D Corsair, USS Bennington 1945 Skin Pak

    == For WW2 PTO SF2, Any and All ==

*Note: can be used in any PTO centric install, and probably will work in 1stGens as well*

A new skin for Wolf257's Corsair; to be used with my F4U-1D mod available here at CA at the following URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/1532-f4u-1d-corsair/

This represents F4U-1D Corsairs as flown frum USS Bennington in the later months of the war.
Decal randomization is set to TRUE (which won't work if used in 1stGen installs, but what the hey, right?)
Also included is a 90%-ish SF2 compliant FM in/on/part of the enclosed data ini*, a new 'main ini' (F4U-1D.ini), and an SF2 Userlist.ini (as USMC is considered a 'Seperate Nation' for Export Purposes ™). It's advised other USN/USMC Corsairs have the necessary lines added, year adjusted and use this new userlist.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).

  25. SF2:I REAF/EAF Spitfire Mk.V Trop Pak by Cocas Aircraft Factory

SF2:I REAF/EAF Spitfire Mk.V Trop Pak by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co (ver 0.9) 1/06/2014

    -- Something for the Mid-East --

    = For SF2:I, and/or Full-5 Merged +Expansion Paks (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: having whichever expansion pak gave us the Spit Mk. IX is required, as this mod references the stock 3W destroyed Spitfire, and early EAF roundels. It is designed to be =ONLY= used in the SF2:I environment. Anything else is 'at your own risk'. (although it WILL work in a FUll-5 merged +2 Expansion Paks) *

This is tagged as Ver 0.9, as we're sure some minor fixes may be required. We wanted to get it out into the hands of End Users ™, both for your flying pleasure, and further examinations.
As stated, above this aircraft package is for use ONLY in the SF2I environment, and only between the years of 47-49 (although tagged with a 44 start date). This is required, as the national marking reference ALL stock 3W decals.
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is set to TRUE. You have 26 historical serial numbers, in Arabic characters.
Skin included with the package is:

EAF: No. 2 Squadron (post-45, just EAF; previous user, REAF)

Finished in the Standard Desert Day Scheme, as delivered from RAF stocks during WW2.
The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0. Guns are also grouped, MGs in Group 1, the cannon in Group 2. No weapons or guns are included -you SHOULD already have these-, but the pilot figure and drop tank are.

    When in game, you'll see:

    Spitfire Mk.Vb Trop EAF (CAF)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate THIS Spitfire from any other EAF Mk.Vs you may (or may not) have.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.
