Are you having trouble flying the aircraft included in NATO Fighters, in a campaign? NATO Fighters comes with edited versions of the 3 stock campaigns, that have almost every aircraft available. You just have to pick the correct campaign, then nation, then squadron. Which aircraft are you having trouble finding in a campaign? If your question is how do I add additional aircraft to a campaign, a good place to start would be Bunyap's campaign tutorial: http://www.bunyap2w1.com/campaigntut.htm

The shots above is what their production aircraft would have looked like had they been chosen for the contract. The two prototypes they tested at Edwards and Pax were delta wings. http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/sys...32-dsc_0010.jpg -

I believe your problem is this, from the A-6A.ini: [AircraftData] AircraftFullName=A-6A Intruder AircraftDataFile=A-6A_DATA.ini CockpitDataFile=A-6A_COCKPIT.INI <---No space HangarScreen=A-6A_HANGAR.BMP LoadoutImage=A-6A_LOADOUT.BMP LoadoutFile=A-6A_LOADOUT.INI AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll AvionicsDataFilename=A-6A_AVIONICS.ini However, the _cockpit.ini included in the download has a space in it: A-6 A_COCKPIT.INI Remove the space in the file name.

View File Tree Mod For WOE's GermanyCE Terrain This is a mod for Wings Over Europe's GermanyCE Terrain, that includes a new tree texture, as well as new .tod's for almost every terrain tile. The .tod files contain positioning information for trees and objects for each terrain tile type. This mod will give you a much larger amount of trees to look at, as well as a higher res tree texture. Please read the README. Submitter JSF_Aggie Submitted 09/26/2006 Category Environmental Mods

In addition to what Capun said, I believe the "EXPORTED" box needs to be checked for the wpn, inside the weapon editor. If it's not, reguardless of the attachment type of the pylon, I don't think you can put a weapon on an aircraft that's not of the same nation. For example, the latest wpn's pack has all of the AGM-78's as a USN weapons. I wasn't able to add them to USAF aircraft until I checked the "EXPORTED" box, and saved them in the weapon editor, even if I had already added the additional AttachmentTypes to the weapon.

RWR screen on A-6?
JSF_Aggie replied to noob's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
My post at C5's. This replaces the clock with an RWR. The radar still works as before. ******************************************** Here's the minimum .ini changes: To A-6A_Cockpit.ini, change the clock needle sections like MoonJumper said, and add the RWR section: [ClockHour] Type=CLOCK_HOUR NodeName=needle_clock01 MovementType=POSITION_Z Set[01].Position=-100.0 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=-99.0 Set[02].Value=1.0 [ClockMinute] Type=CLOCK_MINUTE NodeName=needle_clock02 MovementType=POSITION_Z Set[01].Position=-100.0 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=-99.0 Set[02].Value=1.0 [ClockSec] Type=CLOCK_SECOND NodeName=needle_clock03 MovementType=POSITION_Z Set[01].Position=-100.0 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=-99.0 Set[02].Value=1.0 [RWR] Type=RWR NodeName=Clock ******************************************************* In the A-6A_Avioncs.INI, edit the RWRTexture line: RWRTexture=cockpit\A-6A_rwr.bmp You'll also need to grab a RWR.bmp from another aircraft, drop it into your A-6's cockpit folder, and rename it to A-6A_rwr.bmp. I used the one included in AD's A-7E, but any should work. -

View File WOE Highway Airfield Mod Updated for Sept 08 Patch This is a mod to Wings Over Europe's GermanyCE Terrain, that modifies 13 sections of highway into airstrips that are usable for single missions, any mission editor, and campaigns. The runway size is set to SMALL, so only aircraft with a "MinBaseSize=SMALL" can use them. This mod does not modify any of the stock campaigns to use the new runways, but I did include instructions if you would like to do this. Please read the README. Use Kreelin's mission editor here: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=2678 Open up the terrain's planning map, and as you move the mouse cursor over the map, the XY coords will be displayed at the bottom. (0,0) is the bottom left corner. I don't know why it would be different now with SP4. TK said he made some small tweaks to the campaign engine. Is it possible that your squadrons start date is later than the start date of the campaign? This is defined in the campaign's _data.ini. Maybe there's fighting going on prior to your squadron's start, and the base you speak of may be falling into enemy hands before your squadron shows up in the campaign.
-
For the start of a campaign, it's defined in the terrain's _movement.ini. As the campaign progresses, and strategic nodes change hands, the front line will move. Look at the planning map prior to a mission, to see where the front line currently is. If a target area is on the ENEMY side of the front line, it will belong to, and contain enemies, reguardless of it's affiliation as defined in the terrain's _targets.ini. Same for ENEMY areas that fall behind the FRIENDLY side.

Warmbrak, If you extract the a-6a_data.ini file and look at it, there's some sections for the control surfaces that increase their sensativity with gears down. Others have posted this is a true trait. I tweaked the numbers to reduce the sensativity some, but I don't have that file with me at work. You can try this if you want. It's the flight model from a earlier patch. It doesn't have any of this effect at all. Put it into your A-6A folder. If you don't like it, delete the file and it will go back to the current FM. http://webpages.charter.net/jsfaggie/A-6A_DATA.INI
