I'm just glad.....(ducking from flak from you hockey fans).... I'm sick of the Me me me me attitude and the violence in hockey...I don't mind the checking and small clashes, but when it breaks out into a punching match, what does that tell my kids? That's it's ok to do it at school? It's sending the wrong message to the youth IMHO. All major sports have cracked down on it....look at what happened in the NBA earlier... I also know they arn't the highest payed professional sport....but...it's comparable to their fan base. Their fan base is much smaller the NFL or NBA (I use these cause the have salary caps). These guys were close and should have just accepted the deal. The players caused this....and the fans suffer. But, I'm not a fan, so I sit and watch ESPN with a smile. <C> Fates

Well guys! I'm sure by now that everyone has heard the news that Biohazcentral.com will remain open as well as get a swift kick towards the future. Many of you may be wondering exactly what direction this kick will be in. We've been speaking continuously with the new developers, and I would like to answer a few of those questions publicly so everyone knows what the future has in store for you. Biohazcentral.com will remain in tact as it has always been. The Downloads have been turned back on, and feel free to enjoy them. The new biohazcentral.com owners aren't looking to tear apart the great community here, instead they're looking to continue its successes and to provide it's next stage of development and growth. Biohazcentral.com will eventually point directly to Combatace.com. The CombatAce.com site will be the affective move of the Biohaz site, all the hard work, the community, the boards, files, etc will exist on the Combatace.com site, we won't loose any of it. Biohazcentral.com is the key building block that we will shape and define Combatace.com on. The new site will be designed to be the premiere combat mod headquarters, full of new features and abilities, and a new opportunity to define its place on the net. Developing the backbone to make this the number one combat modders site will be the fun. The new owners here are each dedicated to the community in one aspect or another, and together they’re going to be an unstoppable team. We're each looking forward to this new horizon and we hope you take the opportunity to get to know them and join in the fun. We will be combining all our talents and efforts into a new site that will come out of the box ready to take on the challenges. The fundamental purpose of this will be to unite the talents of the community, and to maximize the resources and assets of the sites into a professional home we're all going to be proud of. We can look at it like this; we're taking a bunch of terrific stand-alone shops and bringing them together into a mall atmosphere. In this way we'll attract more visitors, have more opportunities to get our products to those visitors, and in general benefit from our collective strengths instead of the individual ones. It's going to be a first class show, and we're continuing to get more and more sites involved in the idea. Biohaz, it's community, and its staff should take great pride in the fact that the building block for all of it is right here. This has always been an underlying direction that we wanted to go with Biohazcentral.com. We have tried to support the community with whatever it was they felt they needed support for. I’m glad to have been a part of that, as well as continue to support CombatAce.com in its growth. I know that this community will support the next phase as well. So if there are any ideas, directions, or changes that you as the community would like to see or have questions about, please feel free to ask us. We are here to stay and support you any way we can. Thanks, Fates and the rest of the Biohaz Staff

CRT-based RPTVs Advantages: Least expensive per inch (available in sizes 40" - 80") Easily repairable Excellent colour rendition, including blacks "Known quantity" for many years Disadvantages: Requires initial and periodic convergence and setup Large, "ugly" black box (typically) (takes up floor space) Susceptible to burn in, if not properly set up, operated. There are no CRT-based RPTVs that can natively display 720P. If the TV accepts 720P it gets converted to 1080i or 480P, depending on the set. LCD-based RPTVs Advantages: Light/compact for its screen size High resolution - 720P (actually typically 768/788P) (720P is considered by many to be superior to 1080i, hence the higher price for these sets) No need for convergence. Less sensitive to burn in than CRTs, but still some greyscale degradation possible if abused. Disadvantages: Periodic lamp replacement - about 2 years - ~$200-$400. More expensive than CRT-based RPTV Doesn't display blacks as well as CRTs. DLP-based RPTVs Advantages: Light/compact for its screen size High resolution - 720P (720P is considered by many to be superior to 1080i, hence the higher price for these sets) No need for convergence. No possibility of burn in Disadvantages: Periodic lamp replacement - about 2 years - ~$200-$400. More expensive than CRT-based RPTV Doesn't display blacks as well as CRTs. May have "rainbow" effect. Flat Panel LCDs Advantages: Sexy, thin, light, can hang on the wall Excellent resolution (768P typical) Disadvantages: Extremely expensive Only available in smaller sizes at this time Doesn't display blacks as well as CRTs Be careful - inexpensive flat panel displays may be 480P only. <C> Fates Source: http://www.hdtvoice.com/voice/showthread.php?t=4801

Ok, Working a little on getting the gallery here all fixed up, but till then, your welcome to grab the latest calendar at http://www.TeamODB.com. This month it's the latest screenshot from S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadows of Chernobyl. Not your typical first person shooter as it draws some of the horror genre into it as you can expect with the Chernobyl accident. At a glance, the texturing for this game is completely awesome. I'm hoping this game turns out as well as it's colorful artwork...remarkable. You can learn more at http://www.Oblivion-Lost.com Grab Them Here

What aircraft, and what is the incorrect vs correct weight, and what is your source for the disparity? <C> Fates

When did you first start going to the official Lomac site? Back in the begginning it was rampaged with bad posters that simply brought the forums quality down. Many of us were looking for a brighter attitude from the sites users. I found Biohaz to be that site for me. Other sites have their pros and cons, but I've always found Biohazcentral to have a membership that made the site something more that I wanted to be involved in. You can go to other sites, and you may find more users posting the same infomation, but you may also find more locked thread, mud slinging and generally tolerable behavior; things we are proud not to be part of.

One of the features absent from this game is Trim. The game assumes a perfectly trimmed aircraft. You have no true means of applying pitch trim, aileron trim, or rudder trim. These are things that I miss. When the simulation assumes a "ZERO" state, then the aircraft will always reset to a zero state, regardless of where you place the yoke. When you release, all flight controls goto neutral (ZERO), because you can't command them to be elsewhere. Maybe future releases of this game engine will have trim, and maybe even other aerodynamic forces that effect the characteristics of flight, thermals, clouds, turbulence, etc... Fingers Crossed! <C> Fates

Very good question. But the answers lies with Jeff.

This pic was created back in early December by Wang. He done an excellent job. It's unfortunate that with Biohaz's doors closing in the coming month(s?) that we would get a beautiful pic of an aircraft not sailing off into the sun....but into the dreary full moon.. Thanks to everyone that enjoyed the calendars the last couple years. I did appreciate the feedback! Cheers! Fates Edited: By Fates. Since the pic/file uploads are not working.....you can get this pic HERE
