Well, I will be updating the decals for my Crusader skins in the upcoming weeks...it's not really what I call fun, but it needs to be done. EDIT: A closeup of the redone decals

Ah, decisions... Tell me, which set of decals looks better: These decals (like the Modex numbers) were made with the Amarillo font, but it's quite different from the so-called Long Beach font that is actually used. Nope, the cockpit view is the same for all versions, you are not able to see whether the canopy is open or not. But unlike the inverted missile rails I do not consider this to be an issue that needs to be addressed.

Not much of a surprise here: F-8J Crusader. Honorable mention: F-8B Crusader. The F-8D & E are also nice aircraft.

Nice skin C5 (as usual), however, ... check PM.

Get some ... skins! (Okay, they still need to be approved, but I have finally uploaded my Sundowner repaints which cover their first three deployments to Vietnam. Also, before anybody asks, the Sunburst was added only after 1966. )

Err, both entries you've posted show a MaxLaunchRange of 72.6 km.

Happy B-day, Spitfire! May you keep flying for another 70 years. :yes: I do not think that another aircraft should be named Spitfire...ever. There is simply no need since there are still plenty original Spits around.

I do rather have more remanufactured Crusaders (H,K,L...with wing plyons, of course.) than a two-seater. IMHO the Crusader meant to be a single-seater. End of story. The Hornet (especially the SupaHornet) on the other hand looks a lot better as a two-seater. Seriously, I do think that the E-model looks weird while the F looks cool. I'm not sure whether this makes any sense, but that's how I see it.

Speaking of Sundowner skins... I couldn't resist to do this one as well, but that's the last variation, I promise! Seriously.
