Paul I like that idea. Maybe we can get JB5 to share his templates for the Fury. Lloyd You interested in the Iraqi Fury's? JB5 Think we could use your templates for the Fury? -
1948 War for Independence Campaign
Dave replied to Dave's topic in Mission & Campaign Building Discussion
Well I built the campaign. Its an initial one and its working. I got the 2 P-51's, Bozzy and Zulu as their own little unit. Added Monty's S-199 WIP, what a kick to fly. I have added the Spits too which make up the bulk of the IAF at the time. One unit of Harvards make up the "attack" units of the IAF (SA) I gave the EAF their Spits and the Syrians a Harvard unit. -
Good stuff Brian! The range needed an update badly.

Then the kid they violated grows up and kills each one of them later in life. Now that would be justice. Ok maybe not.

1948 War for Independence Campaign

Ran I like that idea however, I just dont have that kind of time AND we need a butt load of aircraft made to just do some of the sub campaigns. We might just have to go with the KISS method and see what happens. Wrench As far as AA units, there is nothing in the download section we can use? I think we will end up with a lot of "winging it" to make ground war work. -
It does work and its on your folder designated by whatever name you gave you system.

1948 War for Independence Campaign

That is true but we have TK's campaign engine to work with. That is the key there. I know its wrong to start it there but its what the campaign engine can do. So re think that for a sec and you will see the problem. -
Comparison of Aircraft Wing Loadings

Can't argue that. But remember we are talking about the same person who tried to argue with a real life F-4 driver (with Mig kills) about how the F-4 flies. -

1948 War for Independence Campaign

After reading that Allen and those you want to input please do. We should start this campaign on 17 Sept 1948 in which the IAF had 92 planes, 20 fighters and 3 bombers. I think prior to that would be (just based on how the campaign engine works) a slaughter because the Arab forces would have the upper hand. You couldn't proceed without getting wiped out before you could even upgrade. Thoughts? Also are we going to use real workd number here? If that is the we are going to have only 2 Mustangs, 6 S-199's and 14 Spits, all in squadron. Anyone have any heart burn with that? -

View File East Africa/Madagascar Terrain, Version 2.0 for SF/Wo* and SF2 East Africa/Madagascar Terrain, Version 2.0 for SF/Wo* and SF2 This is a complete rebuild of the terrain originaly released in June 2004. It has been extensively retiled, and has had a MAJOR upgrade in the targetization. It is designed to COMPLETELY replace that original version. It has been fully updated to use in the post-patch and SF2 worlds. This is a COMPLETE package, with everything needed to just unzip, install, and fly over. All the tiles are included, including Stary's "Mad Trees Mod", creating a more 'lush' version. Many new TODs have been created, so you'll see lots of trees and small buildings in and around the cites. Extensive upgrading has been performed on the targets, types, data and movement inis , to make use of 08 and SF2 level terrain effects, and the targeting enhancements. New planning maps of all 3 levels have been generated and included. It is reccomended (read: REQUIRED) that you have Pasko's SAMs and Vehicles Pak installed in your GroundObject folder; either or both the Desert or Euro skinned vehicles, plus any additional vehicles such as Kesselbrut's ZIL truck pak, Infantry paks, Moonjumper's fix for the BM-14-16 (adds working Kytusha rockets) and any other SAMS or AAA, vehicles or whatever strikes your fancy. It has been tested in all 1st Gen Sims (SF/WoV/WoE/ at 10/08 patch levels) and SF2 (merged).. It should work in FE & WoI (also post Expansion Pak and Post Patch) with the correct cat pointer -- this has NOT been tested, however. It should will work in SF2, as long as you adjust the cat pointer lines in the main ini, and 'reroute' the terrain effect pointer (more on that in the install instructions, below). However, with the old style terrain effects, it works just fine. Yes, for those expecting it, there IS at least one Easter Egg on this terrain ... MAKE SURE YOU THOROUGHLY READ THE README ON HOW TO USE IT IN ALL SIMS! or you will be clowned...big time..... Submitter Dave Submitted 05/22/2010 Category Full Terrains
