You all know who you are! ---------------- IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS You MUST follow these steps to properly install NATO Fighers IV+. NATO Fighters IV+ (NF4+) is an all in one package. If this is a new setup, install software in the following order: 1. SF2:Europe 2. June 2009 Patch 3. NF4+ Do not use a merged install with SF2:I. Psst This does work in a merged install. This mod was huge so I broke it up into 4 parts. First locate: C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe. This is where you will install the mod. The the first part is called the "MAIN" folder and contains the Campaigns, Effects, Flight, Menu, Objects, PilotData, Sounds, Terrains. This goes into the: C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe Install that first!!!!!! It even says so! The 2nd part is called NF4Objects. Install that SECOND! It even says so in a folder called Install2nd. It goes into the: C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe\ The 3rd part is called NF4Aircraft1. Install that Third! It even says so in a folder called Install3rd. Its CONTENTS goes into the: C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe\Objects The 4th part is called NF4Aircraft2. Install that fourth! It even says so in a folder called Install4th. Its CONTENTS goes into the: C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe\Objects That's it! Been going through my books, researching on many many air raids in the history of warfare and one raid always stands out in my mind. Operation Tidal Wave AKA the raid on Polesti. If something could go wrong it did. But man those guys had balls the size of church bells. Not taking anything away from the great raids of Korea and Vietnam and even our allies like the Dambusters, but holy s**t batman talk about intense. The Polesti Raiders rank number 1 in my list of bombing missions where uncommon valor was a common virtue.

Cat's just kill me sometimes where they decide to take up residence. Like my cat Jinxy decided that under the foot stool in the bedroom is his or at top side of the basement stairs where his blanket is. Its like all the other animals know its his and they don't mess with those areas.

BPAO Thread For those of you who have been around the Thirdwire series if even for a few days know all about The Mirage Factory. It saddens me deeply to announce this, but my friend and the heart of The Mirage Factory, bpao died not too long ago of a pulmonary embolism. He was 36. He was a member of the old guard that started out with us in 2002. One of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to converse with. I shall miss him deeply. He was my friend. Keep his family and friends in your prayers.

Ultramax, I do not think TK intended for us to have to repack an entire terrain back into a cat file. I am sure its something he missed and will fix it with a patch. So no, its not worth the time put it in the knowledge base when I am very sure it will be irrelevant.

I got the Vietnam terrain to work, but not the South Vietnam terrain.

Now since he divided that terrain into 2 you are going to have to do what I said twice. Unpack the original VietnamSEA.cat file Make a copy of it. Add eburgers mods from each of the terrains he divided up. Repack the whole thing. But I havent tried it with a divided terrain that uses the same cat file. Like in eburgers mod.

Brain32 figured it out.

If you repack the terrains back to a CAT file they work. However you have to unpacked the original germanyce, added the mods to it, then repacked it, called it germanyce and put in the main install terrains folder.
