My justifications. A: Its only 20 bux. B: Its easier to mod because of the file structure. Example Weapons being drag and drop, almost do not need the wep editor. C. Better avionics D. Better looking pits. E. Lots of other little nit noid stuff too. For those of you who just can't seem to wrap your head with the new file structure, take a look at these pics. Look familiar? Yep that is the saved game folder that vista uses. The only thing that goes in there is mods. In the 2nd pic you see the install structure that the sim uses. The only thing you need to do with that is well.....nothing. Even when you patch it, its patches that area, it doesn't even touch your mods. If you need something from a cat file then you get it from there. But other than that, you have no reason to really go in there.

Found a bug but its now fixed so have at it guys.

Well it will soon get to the point where mods will not be backwards compatible with the old series. The folder structure is easy as pie.

Hmm the thing is the file is a exe. So you dont need to use a zip program to install it.

That zmatt you are going to have to just learn. I still do it once in awhile, but its just a gut thing. How can I explain this? When I am on a bandits tails I am on the speed brake and throttle constantly. You just gauge his speed and react accordingly. I know this doesn't help at all. If I could remember that tactics name the IAF used I could also explain it better.

I am running the SF2 series on a Vista 64 and it runs like a raped ape on my lap top.

Find the dogfights episode about the IAF. They talked about some tactic they used to great effect. It was close to a yo-yo type thing. If you can find that episode it does work.

I dumped all but WOI but when SF2:I comes out I will dump it too. SF2 series is vastly superior to the old series in every way, (avionics is the big thing). Those of you who don't get on the band wagon and move to SF2 series will be left behind. I am not making anymore mods for the legacy series.
