  1. Beaufighting in the Sand, Sinai. 1956
  2. Did you set it up using these instructions? This works for me. I have about 40+ SF1 installs working in Windows 10. My SF1 in Windows 10 settings. 1. Install latest DX9. I'm not sure but I believe the latest DX9 driver is 'directx_Jun2010_redist.exe.' It can be found on the internet. 2. Install ENBseries. I use FalconC45's 'HDR Mod 1.01A' found here, 'https://combatace.com/files/category/747-environmental-mods/?page=2.' The HDR Mod 1.01A is for high end Nvidia graphics cards. There is also a mod for ATI/AMD graphics cards on that download page. 3. Install the game BUT NOT in the default installation folders. Put it in the C: root folder or on another drive. 4. Set SF1/WOX .exe file compatibility mode to: 1 - Check box for 'Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (Service Pack 3).' 2 - Check box for 'Run this program as an administrator.' Your compatibility mode might differ. You might need to experiment with different settings to find the right one for your computer. 5. I use '4gb_patch.exe.' I don't know if it makes much difference, but it doesn't stop the game from playing. It can be found about 10 files down here: https://ntcore.com/?page_id=345. Remember computers differ, so my settings and adjustments might not work for your setup. Good luck. Geary
  3. I was stunned and mesmerized by the idiocy, clichés and inaccuracies of this movie. Actually watched the whole movie to see if there were any redeeming qualities in it. Saw some decent aviation footage (when it wasn't totally unbelievable bull$%&# such as obvious F-86's with something like a North Korean star painted on the fuselage, etc...). It's now one of my favorite $h#* movies ever.
  4. jack33, It's been a while since I've adjusted angles but I believe you must adjust your 'AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0' to adjust the paratroopers sitting position. Someone gave me this information years ago: First Number Set = ?? Center Number Set = Raises/Lowers Front-to-Back in Degrees Last Number Set = Raises/Lowers Side-to-Side in Degrees IE: AttachmentAngles=0.0,2.5,0.0 would raise the missile front for 2,5° Hope this helps.
  5. This is my rig set up: Asus Essentio CM6830-07 - Intel i7-3770 QuadCore 3.4GHz CPU - 16GB DDR3 PC3-12800 (800MHz) RAM (2x8GB) - 4GB GDDR5 EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Video - 1TB WD Black SATA-III 7200RPM Hard Drive - 3TB WD Black SATA-III 7200RPM Hard Drive - Corsair CX750M 750Watt Power Supply - MS Windows 10 Professional 64-bit ALL my installs are modded. Have you tried 'My SF1 in Windows 10' explained further up in this post? I'm not sure what causes SF1 to fail in Windows 10 but first it seems to be DirectX 9 missing. So, install 'directx_Jun2010_redist.exe.' Then, installing to the default directory seems to cause problems. So, install to the root directory or a separate drive. Then, the default compatibility mode causes problems. So, I set my compatibility mode to 'Windows XP (Service Pack 3).' AND 'Run as administrator.' Then, multiple Windows 10 updates cause issues. I apply all Windows 10 updates. Still have SF1 working installs. I use Nvidia graphics cards and Nvidia updates sometimes cause problems. So, install the 'HDR Mod' for your graphics card, either Nvidia or AMD/ATI. The ENB series files are the only part of the HDR mod I use. SF1 is built for 32-bit operating systems. Usually single core processors. I use the '4gb_patch.exe' because it's supposed to allow single cpu core apps to take advantage of more than one core. Whether it works or not I don't know, but it doesn't seem to stop the game from playing. I don't know that ALL this is necessary but it works for me.
  6. I have over 50 SF1 installs that work fine with the latest version of Windows 10.
  7. I wish now I had asked about a template for this plane a couple of years back. I've been working on one I built from Suhsjake's old SF1 template for over a year as I found time. I would love to have a copy of yours if you are willing to share. Also, I've been working on one for Wolf's B/C Mustang. Still needs work but not bad considering how old these models are.
  8. You might have. I might just have missed them. Good details. They're usually the hardest thing to find. Thanks, saves work.
  9. Is there a TW P-51D Mustang Template available? Or has anyone done one they haven't shared but would be willing to share? Or is there a template for the Crisis P-51D available? TIA, Geary

  11. I have this movie. An old favorite. One of the best to show off the P-47. Don't much care for the cliché acting, but great jug scenes.
  12. Wrench, It does work. Can't remember how or why it works or where I got it, but it does. Menrva, I ported my SF1 'Out of Africa '77' install to SF2. Most worked out of the box but needed to add at least one decent fighter for the allied/US side so I added F-8E Crusaders and a carrier. Just needed to adjust the water.bmp and a few lines changed/adjusted to terrain .ini files. I don't recall all the details, but I think there was no Madagascar campaign for SF2. Love you Madagascar terrain but is there a campaign for it?
  13. Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but here is one I use. WaterMap.bmp
  14. Eric, I pay $10 a month to rent two copies of Photoshop, plus updates, etc... I rent it from Adobe.
  15. Stratos, I Stratos, I'm not sure. Yours looks a bit different in the nose and you've added different seats, but otherwise, might be it. Is this the iDiOt Team's model?
  16. I've been asked to make a template for the Soko Galeb G2. The only Soko Galeb G2 I can find is the 2009 version by the iDiOt Team in the SF1 Section. The plane has many skin problems. The lines and detail are VERY 'fuzzy.' Before I get too deep into this template I would like to make sure: 1. There are no other Soko Galeb G2 models here/out there to use? 2. There are no other Templates for this plane that can be used/modified? I know there is a G4 model here, but the G2 is the one requested. Does anyone have any detailed photos, drawing with lines, details, stenciling, etc. you can share? Any help is appreciated. Wish me luck, Geary
  17. Z09SS, Aren't you afraid you'll loose your beer in that mess? Nice idea for mounting your throttle and joystick. I've been considering using pvc for a frame system but not quite as big as your pipes.
  18. Kevin, Thanks for pointing me to Raven's P-40B's. Saw them before but guess they slipped my mind. Got one from your MTO package that will work for 1948 Egyptian Air Force with a little tweaking. Can't find a template for it though. Found templates for Raven's other P-40's but not this one. I wonder if one of the other's will work for the B model? But if you have one handy, I could sure use it. Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to your Indochina install.
  19. Absolutely right. I'm doing the P-40B/Tomahawk next and had it on my mind while posting the Hurricane picture. Got it fixed. Thanks for the catch. Mandatory picture(s). Harvard / T-6 Texan in service with opposing Air Forces in the Sinai, 1948.
  20. Egyptian Hurricane IIB patrolling Egyptian border, 1948. Raven's Hurricane IIB with new line, rivets, paint, etc... WIP.
  21. Wolf257's Tomahawk is good but needs an .lod cockpit. No place to place an instrument panel on it. Looks kind of naked inside the cockpit looking from the outside. I'm reskinning planes for my 1948 Israel - Arab conflict and would like a plane with a visible instrument panel. With all the P-40's around, I can't seem to find a B model except for Wolf257's old Tomahawk. TIA, Geary
  22. MC 205 Veltro in Egyptian service patrolling the Sinai, 1948. New lines, rivets, paint, etc... WIP.
