  1. I had a lot of cirrus targets because I couldn't get one to work, and I try going to other target areas to see if something would pop up, but didn't get any results. So out of frustration, I tried a send the cirrus targets all over the place to see if I can get at least one positive result.
  2. The only info that I know about the D is that it can travel up to 150 NM. Basically the replacement for the Pheonix.
  3. Ok Lexx, here ya go. I placed them in a .rar file because it would've made the message too long if I just posted all the information here.
  4. Holy S! I definately did not expect the situation was that jacked up. The pilot could've easily brought it in to North Island. I think it's guranteed that his career is over and will possibly face criminal charges. All I can see here is incompetence and laziness of the extreme order.
  5. Quick question, has anybody else had problems with getting Lex's cirrus cloud mod to work in the Black Sea terrain? I have it working in every terrain that I have, but it doesn't seem to work in the Black Sea. I'm a bit confused on what the problem might be.
  6. The recordings, from security cameras on the local builidings, show various angles of the plane landing into the river
  7. Not to mention that the general public can't get information that originates outside of the North Korean government. So almost any info. that they hear is strictly from government sources. They got nothing else to go by. So it is really easy to mis lead the general population into believing that any western powers that try to come in to the country will not be in their best interest.
  8. Hmm....... It appears that this enemy flight of Flankers got the call a bit too late to scramble for my approaching flight. Oh well....
  9. OK AleDucat, I sent a PM to you that has the updated file and the animation keys.
  10. What I noticed was that the escorting aircraft are not armed up. Must be diplomatic protocol under NATO. Unless those aren't shots of aircraft escorts but of someting else.
  11. Oh, well that's what I bump to when I roll through South Central. It scares the living cheese whiz out of the gang bangers there. Nobody wants to come near me when I'm playing that.
  12. Ah crap, did i forget to give you the animation keys? I'll send them over in a PM. Yeah, they "flex" up and down with positive and negative collective. And btw... your apache rocks!!!!! looks better than mine. How many polys is it?
  13. But of course! I mean, you can have a whole bunch of red stars, bars, or aircraft models stickered on to your bird, but it all could have been against a nation who has crappy pilots and nobody would really know any better. Now posting what nation you actually faught against expresses a bit more on what you were facing in regards to the level of training that you might have been up against.
  14. BUMP... anybody else interested in doing a FM for this? Haven't gotten any takers from expereinced FM gurus yet.
  15. For some, yes, but for me, no. I got 3DS Max as a Christmas gift because someone(s) really liked what I was doing with Gmax and thought it would be a great investment for me to use the real deal. In turn, I enlisted and join the USAF. But if I was able to get a nice job making 3D models, I would do it. It's fun whiping out mods and stuff to an awesome community, but I'm sure it would be exciting to get paid for it on an hourly basis by a big name video game company, and a lot more motivating.
  16. In the last scene where the guys are jumping out of the boat, I have been in sand like that before. One minute, your walking on nice soft sand, and then the next step you go plunging into the ground as if something grabbed you from under the dirt and pulled you down. Scary for first timers, but after you realize what happened, it's all laughs.
  17. Well, I sent an e-mail to the Track IR support site and got a response back saying that it will not work with this sim because it is no longer supported by it's developers (Micro Prose and Hasbro Interactive).
  18. I got to hang out with the Blue Angels.
  19. You never know. It could have an impact, and believe it would.
  20. It was a bad day in the land of stan. I recentl heard that if our next deployment goes through, that's where we might be going. With the new commander, I might be able to go while being AGR.
  21. Will keep a mental note of that for the 2010 airshow.
  22. Will be keeping a supply of Jack Daniels at my new place once I move in... that is once I get the new place. So come on over whenever you want... or at anytime we'll be having an airshow. And if anybody starts posting on me for having beer after that post I made.... I drink responsibly... I only gotten buzzed once, and that's because someone mischeviously added something to my drink that had a bit more of a kick than Bud Lite....
  23. Oh, you just had to didn't you
  24. As a military cop, I will say this. I have seen more harm done to people who are intoxicated from alcohol. Even one glass of beer can get a person buzzed, and being buzzed is being drunk. And you can easily over dose on alcohol. Very rarely have I ever encountered a situation where someone has gotten seriously injured due to the involvement of marijuana. Now what I don't know is how quickly one can get buzzed from marijuana, and how much it affects there perception and reasoing skills. But from what I've seen, it's danger level is lower than that of alcohol because you can not over dose on it. So havig the consumption of alcohol being legal, but the use of mairjuana illegal doesn't make much sense to me, which is why most cops don't really give a rat's ass about it. Infact, most cops (not me - that stuff stinks!) have done some weed prior to being a cop (and sometimes with a few while they have been in the department). Now, if marijuana has been legalized, it will do three things. One, it will put a massive dent to the illegal underground marijuana manufaturers that have ties to crimianl organizations. By legalizing marijuana, you will effectively shut down cirmianl organization's (such as the Mexican Mafia and white supremacy groups) main source of revenue. Without a main source of revenue, the more difficult it is for them to carry out their violent operations. Also, with the use of marijuana no longer being illegal, it will allow law-enforcement agencies to redirect their attention to more serious crimes, and allowing quicker responses to much more serious calls. Second, it will increase the number of jobs in a crippled economy. With the way things are going right now, jobs are very few and hard to come by. With the legalization of marijuana, this would open doors to employments at a wide range, and considering how addicts are, I don't think there would be any concern of a slow market. Third, it may possibly reduce the usage of other narcotics that DO have a history in which people have gotten seriously hurt and killed. If drug-A is easier to get becaue it has been legalized and more affordable than drug-B, then which one do you think the addict would go to? Now as a Christian, I am opposed to the abuse of any substance whether it being drug or non drug related. The good book does teach against the use of anything that facilitates an altered perception of reality. Infact, it discusses this as away of stepping into demonic possesion. However, I do have a realistic perception on the world, and that not everybody is a Christain nor do they share and accept Christain ideals. So I'm not going to force my faith down somebody elses's throat and say, "hey tough, I dont' care what your feelings are on it because my faith comes first before you." My faith does come first before a lot of things, but I don't think that shoving it in everybody else's life is the correct way of going about it. God gave us choices for a reason. Heck, he allowed the two morons that he first created a choice between two trees - one bad, one good. He didn't keep them from using the bad one, but did proclaim a consequence if they decide to go ahead and eat from it. Legalizing marijuana is allowing a choice for people to make. If there is a way to help reduce violent crimes, keep people from ODing, stop drunk driving, and make it difficult for gangs and mafias to do what they do best, I'm all for it. In this world, you sometimes are left with chosing the lesser of the two evils. Legalizing marijuana is unfortuantely the lesser of the two evils. I also think the concept of it being such a bad thing really has to do with state and federal fear based propaganda exagerating how bad it is when it really isn't compared to other things that have been legalized (alcohol). I would never smoke, as I said that I think it stinks, and I don't like having my perception of reality being altered. Yes, life sucks... deal with it, but deal with it like a man.
