You know this is probably one of the rare sites i've run into where the admins actually make these threads, instead of closing them.

You know one wierd thing bout 2142 i found was that even though it was set in 2142 both the EU and PAC have pretty much today's weapons, you know i would of excpected some energy weapons, a HUD that can point out enemies and friendlies and all that stuff. The games is like you took BF2 and changed the skins of the weapons and added mechs.

The unlocks in BF2 warn't bad (i didn't really notice that i was in any way "ahead" of everyone else with the unlocks), but the ones in BF2142 were awful and i hope they don't do that again...

Ok, how about if i for instance unpack the weapons in a folder an than manually add them to WOE/WOV. What would i need then? Also, my current install is completly clean i haven't isntalled anything. What a want to do is simply delete the stuff i don't need and use and leave a nice clean organized bunch of mods, aircraft and weapons.

Just one more question: I'm thinking of cleaning up the weapons pack by removing the stuff i never use (there is way too much stuff and i'm getting lost in it). Now is it just deleting the weapons from the weapons folder or do i need to edit an ini or something. (I will probably do this when the Mirage 2000, Jas39 Gripen and Kestrel come out so i don't delete the weapons they use)

Works perfectly I've started the vietnam campaing as an F-8E pilot of VF-111, and i'm starting to really like taking of the carrier and stuff, and vietnam is far more fun than the Cold War campaing.

How do I do a merge install of WOE and WOV? Do I need a clean install of WOE? If I need a clean install of WOE can it be patched?

I know, I have it, but still woudl like it if it would say "wolfpack one, sam launch" instead of "one, sam launch", so i can know it's me, not tuna one(btw is there a way to make it do that). -

question about extracting aricraft from objectdata.cat

Yeah i know, SFP1 dosen't have the aircraft in it's objectdata.cat so it will need all the files. I only got WoE, so I tried using only three files (A-7.ini, a-7_data.ini and a-7 loadout.ini) + the skin and it works perfetly. -

Does anyone know where I can download skins for the F-8E from WoV, not the F-8E_GF from Column5, or atleast how to "transform" F-8E_GF skins into F8E (names and stuff like that)? -
I want to pull out the A-7, so i'm wondering: Do I have to pull out all the A-7 files or just certain ones?
