  1. Well the majority of the Army's pilots are Warrant Officers, not Commissioned.
  2. I haven't flown in this game for a while now, for hardware reasons, but this is still a mod I've looked forward to seeing released. Congrats to the Mirage 4000 team! This certainly will be one of the first downloads when I'm back up.
  3. If only there was a way to bring Snoopy back. Yeah he never fired the smoke rockets and all too often was shot down, but I can't be the only one who missed seeing that little O-1 orbiting a tank battle.
  4. The nostalgic feels from a year ago are hitting me pretty hard right now. I miss deployment. So, I'm going to make a mission pack for the time when I was there, August 2013 to April 2014. No, I'm not making eight months worth of missions! Missions will be flown out of Kandahar Air Field for the most part, because that's where I was, and most missions will probably be flown in Regional Command South. One aircraft will be flown out of Bagram. I've already got an order of battle for the time frame. Of course I don't need one for Army Aviation's assets! Aircraft: F-16C Tornado GR4 A-10C AH-64D* *Do we have an AH-64D Apache? That's a D model without the Longbow radar. US Apaches operate in Afghanistan without Longbow. And of course there will be plenty of other AI aircraft. Those without access to the A-team website will miss out on AI helicopters and UAVs flying around though. If you don't like slow missions, CAS, or armed recon, these aren't the missions for you. Return to fighting MiGs over Hanoi. No screenshots yet because I haven't started anything. Still hunting down aircraft, textures, and ground objects. And this OOB is huge. Might be a couple days before any update.
  5. Oh man seeing those RLBs brings me back to Kandahar five years ago! If you're interested in making some different versions, I should still have a few pictures for reference.
  6. Great read. Ever since I read Red Eagles I've enjoyed reading pilot's perspectives of the Flogger family.
  7. Ok I can confirm I never turned a wrench on that particular tail number, so not my fault!
  8. Hey Slack Asses......

Well, not contractor in that sense. Manufacturer is the word I should have used.
  9. Hey Slack Asses......

@Dave Well since you're really asking. I'm out of the Army and now work for a major defense contractor.
  10. Hey Slack Asses......

    Oh, you know. Stuff.
  11. R Lee Ermey Dead at 74

I grew up watching him on Mail Call. Rest in Peace, Gunny. You've been an inspiration to at least two generations of veterans, myself included.
  12. Update 04/04

No apology needed, Erik. Thank you for your continued efforts.
  13. Croatia's new jet fighter

Congrats to Croatia! Glad they've finally come to a decision.
  14. Funny, all I ever get are missions to attack airbases when flying F-15Es.
  15. So what shows are you hooked on?

Also looking forward to season three of Man in the High Castle! Lately though, I've been binge watching older stuff. Specifically 24 and X-Files (Gillian Anderson ). Manhattan was good, shame it got the axe. Also enjoying Narcos and Dirty Money on Netflix. As a motorsports fan, the Scott Tucker episode was particularly interesting.
  16. Jonathan, I can't thank you enough for bringing us The Scandinavian Front. It's always been a favorite of mine.
  17. Doesn't the AH-64 mod come with pilots too?
  18. Make sure the drivers for the controller are up to date. Also, download the Microsoft Xbox 360 Accessories program.
  19. YF-23A Wizard (Ace Combat Zero)

Very nice. Will you be doing Gault?
  20. I never gave much thought to the Vautour in the past. Might have to give it a go in a campaign now.
  21. Share your thoughts about "USN Sky Penis."

It's basically an unwritten rule that if you're in the US military, you're gonna draw a dick at some point.
