  1. I believe the line you're looking for is [sky]>SkyDistance. I have the value set at 140000. I forget what the stock value is; I think it's somewhere around 70000.

  6. The 'Yankee Air Pirate' add-on gives an in-flight refueling feature to WoV. Unfortunately, in-flight refueling isn't a stock feature of any of the SF-series games.
  7. Performance parameters for any aircraft are set in the aircraft's 'data.ini' file. Scroll down to [FlightControl].
  8. You'll need to edit the data.ini and loadout.ini files of the affected aircraft to access the weapons in the Weapons Pack. The Weapons Pack uses a different national classification system from that of the stock game, so aircraft ini files have to be altered accordingly. I believe the topic is covered in a set of instructions included with the Pack.

  10. Is this the first time you've used the chatter files? If not, have the files always sounded as if they were playing back too fast, or have playback characteristics changed over time? Changes in pitch and speed might be symptoms of a sound card driver problem.
  11. There's a guy named Prowler who does cockpits, but he charges for his work. I don't know whether he builds anything to order or not. He'd probably have to get permission from the Mirage Factory to mod their plane, at any rate, and there's no guarantee that that permission would be given. Nevertheless, you could probably catch Prowler here or at SimHQ, if you're interested.
  12. If you decide to use Bunyap's Weapons Pack, you'll have to do some text editing to make the weps work on Soviet aircraft. For confirmation, refer to the instructions that come with the Weapons Pack.

  14. Sorry that the knowledge base wasn't helpful, Sora, but my guess is that you'll learn how to add skins to your planes eventually. I eventually learned how to edit files in Paint.NET, even though I thought that would never happen. Lol!
  15. Do you have any security software running in the background when you try to launch your game?
  16. There might be other options, but I think the best one is just to reinstall everything, this time in the right sequence.
  17. In a nutshell, yes. You have to look for the 'AttachmentType' entries in the data.ini files of the aircraft; those represent the aircraft hardpoints, where you'll see designations like 'NATO', 'WP', and so on, depending on what kind of aircraft we're talking about. If you have the file that capun referenced, you should mine that first, because it contains data.ini and loadout.ini files for a ton of different aircraft, updated for you in accordance with Bunyap's classification system. With those files, weps updating could simply be a matter of copying and pasting files into your aircraft directories.
  18. Hi, Maico. I'll paraphrase the Weapons Pack instructions. Basically, you have to update the data.ini and loadout.ini files of each aircraft to allow them to "read" the weapons in Bunyap's Weapons Pack. I'll give you a fer instance. Under the stock weps classification, Soviet aircraft loadup weapons under the classification 'WP'; you'll see that if you look in the data.ini files of the Soviet aircraft. 'WP' weps are what you see listed in the loadout screen for Soviet aircraft with a stock setup. Bunyap's Weapons Pack changes all of that. Soviet weapons in the Weapons Pack are categorized under the designation 'Soviet', not 'WP.' So if you don't change the data.ini and loadout.ini files of Soviet aircraft to reflect the changes in weapons classification, you could very well end up with no weps as a loadout option for your Soviet planes. People have found ways to get around this new classification system by using the Weapons Editor, so if you want to go that route, that is certainly available to you. I'm not advocating one method over another. I just happen to prefer the route of updating the data.ini and loadout.ini files.

  20. Hi f.t.a.-- You could be having a file extension problem for any number of reasons. I think you should post the exact error message to give potential helpers a foothold. BTW, I haven't had any problems with the latest Weapons Pack in either SFP1 or WoE, so I suspect your problem isn't weps-related. Tristan
  21. Two questions: 1.) Are the planes you transferred to WoV third-party aircraft or stock aircraft from SFP1? 2.) Are you using stock weapons or are you using Bunyap's Weapons Pack in WoV?
  22. Yeah, the MinBase thing solved the problem for me, also. The Foxbat flies fine in WoE now.
