				Howdy Folks
MK2 replied to Vigilante's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Vigilante welcome! Very cool we have a new skinner/modder in the fold. I second what Streak says.... I love IL2, but the SF1/WOV engine is so moddable we are creating new games (practically) head over to the campaign section and see some of the wonderful skins and screens being created. You are going to enjoy yourself .....trust me! -

Aircraft Add-Ons for SFP1 and WOV
MK2 replied to airwolf's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Hi Airwolf!! Welcome Usually it is as easy as placing the folder in your objects/aircraft folder. about half of the downloads should contain instructions... let me know if this helps, and if it did not , we will be glad to help you. -
Found this while lurking at UBI forums and downloaded it from a link at airwarfare.com it is a gun camera activator that works with all flight sims, anyone here try it before? http://www.errthum.com/troy/warbirds/guncam/ I got it to work in about 15 minutes, this is very cool. I can also make it super smooth, change resolutions, make it black and white, make it look old (the program allows you to create it anyway you want to make it look real. EDIT (I was testing the VPAF campaign I'll post MIG kills later) Here is Korea with special effects. The final moments of a MIG-15. I had to remove some frames to get it under 1MB for photobucket to properly host it. The unedtied one was 2.87MB and was much better, but you get the idea...

				New Campaign
MK2 replied to BFawlty's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
I agree with you trooper, the graphics are intense, it is very cool though, a lot of effort went into it and you can really tell. I never play scripted campaigns but this is a big exception. -
Buglord, your skins are really, really good, thank you for preserving them for other players.

LOL! Spectre it is actually an IIAF website (Pre revolution) , when they were our friends, they feel pride in their airmen but they do not back the current regime. It is actually a cool site for pictures and info all things combat jets. They also contributed info on the Iran iraq campaign (information).

Well I think the Med for sure (North Africa begs to be done right). Here is what Oleg himself said about it in a post: Oleg_Maddox VIP posted Fri April 15 2005 00:43 quote:Originally posted by RAF56_BTB: Does anybody know if Oleg will create other campaigns that will merge with BOB? Such as an all new Russian front Perhaps? BTB unquote [Oleg:] This is my general plan: BoB, then after BoB Africa then something new (don't know yet) We will use successfull attempt with PF... 1) Releasing BoB. 2. Released Africa as stand alon and with possibility to merge with BoB. 3. releasing new stand alone theater say X, with the possibility to merge with BoB + Africa + X 4. etc. Including European, Russian front and Pacific, but before will be several titles. Finally we will get even more than in Il-2 series amount, quality, etc.. Such method will help me to be alive for a long time. You know that currently we are almost alone on the market... niche is too small. But I dislike to go on consoles and name it simulators..
