  1. And I will try to find a pic of the Squadron bagde to put on fin as well, if you want me to??
  2. Looks very nice, the fin flash could be a little larger as well
  3. Thanks in advance if you do, they would soon be added to my Natofighters campaign
  4. Are You considering making some silver Danish birds in High Res?? http://home19.inet.tele.dk/spook/Gallery/R...100F_GT-870.jpg http://www.f-100.info/images/f-100d_52756.jpg http://www.f-100.info/images/f-100d_42177-2.jpg F-100D same markings, Esk 730 And Dark Blue and White on some aircraft from same Esk. http://www.f-100.info/images/f-100d_42192.jpg http://www.f-100.info/images/f-100d_42261.jpg http://www.f-100.info/images/f-100d_42262.jpg Esk 727 Markings are bright red and later the numbers was changed from FW??? to G-??? last three digits of USAF serial
  5. Also a very good book on F-100 is Osprey Air Combat North American F-100 Super Sabre
  6. Wont you agree on my point??
  7. And I dont want to ruin the party with silver/ natural metal ANG birds, but most were in SEA camo, if we are talking about the D model, nearly all colourfull ANG Units flying F-100's were A or C models. Did any of you guys know thats the C is the fastest of the lot?? But the D could be used as a stand in for those birds. I would like that
  8. No offence but You cant be serious, because A + C's Have a completly different wing design than the D model, they dont have flaps and therefore is the trailling egde of the wing straight like an ruler, thats the reason I called it a D. But I like the mod you did anyway.
  9. I would say that goes for the entire century series
  10. I like them too, a real workhorse. Royal Danish Air Force used them to 1980 or 82 only to be replaced by F-16. I can still remember both the F-100's and F-104's roaring over my childhood home in very low altitude. Hopefully I will never forget the sight and sweet noise. To bad the F-100A and F-100C isnt availble, I know there is an A in the game, but its actually an D model. But one thing is certain a F-100 without droptanks is only a F-99½ IMO and they have to be natural metal to be really nice.
  11. I was in the download section and found a mainscreen for a mod the Nordic Border conflict, has such a mod ever been made or is it only the main screen??
  12. I dont care if its a rehash of the older versions. It's not all people who is aware of all these addons, I can only speak for myself but I had WOV and WOE a long time before I found out about this Forum for an exsample. And as I see it, every time there has been a new game in the series there has been patches to opgrade the older vers to the new standard, try that on other games. Off cause I do like to see the brake shute too, and the medals I had won in the pilot record, but thats a minor issue. There has been improvements on every new game in the series. And I really do like the openness of the game, its only you own imagination and skill that set the limits of this sim. I'm no computer wiz, and I have never changed so much in a game before i tryed this. and its fun fun fun..
  13. Nice to be back in the XP buisness again Now I can enjoy playing again.... Heard a rumor that there are comming an Dx10 for XP, if thats true my Vista will be in the dark
  14. I know these aircraft was never intended to be used in a dogfight and I cant blame them, But thinking being coupled with an radar the prox fuse could work. It works on AAA shells, now I'm not talking about the game but in real life.
  15. I have read about these weapons, and have tryed them myself in the F-86D/L F-89 Its very had to hit anything with them, so my question must be: In real life had those rockets a proxsimity fuse of an sort so they work like AA shells??? Or did they only explode on inpact??
  16. Hey this pic is even better than the other pic I found
  17. I have tryed on different games that normally dont run in XP and the most times this will work
  18. I have found a picture of the rocket drawer in open position, but I dont have a scanner, it's in the Squadron/ Signals F-8 Crusader in action page 9 top left corner
  19. I have read that the smoke from the rockets caused flame outs, thats should be the reasson for the rocket tray being sealed.
  20. I have made my decission, when I get an day off. I will reinstall my good old XP it has followed me in a long time and I have never been disapointed with it, hell its so old it dont even have servicepack 1. (have an okay web connection so thats allright) But as said before it had never led me down. IMHO this is the BEST OS MS ever has done to date. Vista will go to the bottom of my drawer and stay there a long time. A LOOOOOOOOONNNNNGGG TIme. I should never had listen to my brother in law when I got my new Rig regarding Vista. It's the future and you cant play new games that's comming up...... Bla bla bla I have never had so much trouble since I got Vista. I gave it a shot but it failed so much... Hell even Win 95 was better...
