WOV2 A6-A Intruder
Spinners replied to lazboy's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Either the naming convention is porked or, more likely, the config.ini is pointing to something that isn't there. Does this add-on rely on something from TK's WOV A-6A? -

This is a simple mod of the excellent Third Wire Hunter to give a flyable 'what if' Hawker Hunter F.6 of the West German Air Force with markings for JG71, JG72, JG73 and JG74 for the approximate late 1950's to late 1960's period. As it uses stock Luftwaffe serial numbers I think you really need the latest SF2:Europe but it should work in SF2 also as the F.6 LODs are in there too but you might not get the serial numbers. You can swap the skins and decals around to suit - have fun. Regards Spinners -

Thanks EricJ but TK makes it sooooo easy. That's his new Danish Hunter skin and stock decals. His skinning is really under-rated and some of his skins are superbly weathered. I'm working on the silver skin in the background but it doesn't come easy for me. -

Yeah, but if he uses all those numbers AFTER the decimal point he'll never finish it! -

Arabic Serial Numbers
Spinners replied to Spinners's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Perhaps my memory has let me down. I can only assume that I extracted them from WOI and then stuck them in my decals folder. I'm sure that they'll be in my new merged install in 2 weeks... -
ThirdWire Update

No news I'm afraid. It makes sense for it to come out after SF2I - and I can't wait for the Meteor F.8 !!!! -
IAF Hunter Skin
Spinners replied to MiG_Slyer's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I think the stock RAF skin with Indian Air Force decals will be OK - the camo scheme looks identical. -

Arabic Serial Numbers
Spinners replied to Spinners's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
'ArabicSN' was definitely in SF2 because I used it for my Dhimari Hunter FGA.9 but it's not there now and neither is Arabic3white - but both are listed in the decals.ini inside some of the skin folders in my install. -

de Havilland Vampire FB.7 for SF1 This aircraft mod will create a 'what if' de havilland Vampire FB.7 with colourful post-war markings for No.6, No.8 and No.20 squadrons of the Royal Air Force. This is a revised upload that was originally for SF2 but mistakenly got left in the SF1 section when the big SF1/SF2 split happened and as I can't get SFG/WOX to work on my W10 desktop I've not been able to test it. I think I've got the reverse engineering right but the one thing I can't do is sort out the rockets and tanks (it's so much easier in SF2). INSTRUCTIONS 1. Drop the Vampire_FB7 folder into your Aircraft folder. That's it! CREDITS As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim. Thanks to Pasko for this superb add-on aircraft (one of his many), Gramps for the skins and also Don (C5) for the FM. And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.
