Well I would say that the designers must not of wanted to mess with the sweep wings. Not sure, just a guess. But at the same time maybe they didnt use the F-111 because it wasnt very well known about in that time frame of US history. The first F-111's entered service in 1967, but with alot of problems. The engines were severly underpowered for the weight of the plane. The F-111 also had many structural failures in the early years. Also the Pave Tack Pod, Which really made the plane cool didnt make it into F-111 squadrons until 1981. But the F-111 pilots were the ones to pioneer "skiing". This was using the TFR(terrain following radar) to stay at very low altitude in any weather or terrain. I agree this would be a great plane to fly in the game though. I always wanted to recreate the attack on Quaddafi's palace. "Knock Knock Mother f***er". I believe this was what the pilot said as his bombs hit the palace. To bad Quadaffi wasnt home.

Thats right guys! Im running a little behind tonight on my web page browsing, so someone might have already mentioned this. IL-2 Forgotten Battles has gone gold and should be in stores March 4th. I dont know about you guys, but I cant wait for this one. IL-2 was by far the best WW2 flight sim ever (besides SWOTL). For those that are to young to remember SWOTL. It was Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe. Ran on DOS. Man I feel old.

I have to agree. The very last Janes game from Xicat should have been Janes Attack Squadron. It had a lot of potential. But like CFS3, fell very short.

Wow! I cant wait till the bear and the F-14 are done. Then maybe we could have some nice traditional missions of the Cat escorting the old Bear away from the carrier, which is also in the makings. This is really turning into one hell of a sim.

MadJeff, thank you very much. I am back in the chopper cockpit again. I did what you said, and then downloaded from Razorworks a Ground Support Pack. This solved all of my probs. I think it was a T&L problem.

Ya know, Ive only been a part of Biohazard for maybe a month or two now, but im having a problem now. Im not sure who Global Tribunal is, but he seems to have a problem with the whole world. While I have been a Part of this great site Ive had, or seen no difficulties between anyone. All people here are very helpful to all of us that are new to the community. In my daily ritual of checking my usual web pages, this is the one that i look forward to and enjoy being in the most. Its very sad to see one person put another down for trying to help. This is the very first time I have ever seen it by the way. Anyway back to the topic. Ive had no problems from his sight or his downloads. They are all top quality.

Actually I have a compatability question. Apache vs. Havok works fine on my PC. P4 2.0gig 512RAM 128mb Geforce4 Windows XP home edition But my problem is EECH doesnt work. It installs fine, starts fine, main menues are fine, but then I go to my cockpit and all of a sudden my cockpit starts flashing on and off. I can see through it. I love the game, and it worked great on my old rig. Id love to play it again. Been all over the web looking for a patch, but cant find one. Thought maybe the pros around here might be able to get me back into the chopper cockpit.

I am interested but not sure what you guys do? If multiplayer doesnt work how do you play? Are there any rules and regulations involved?
