I just noticed the problem .. I see from your screenshots that you have a pilot folder directly into your strikefighters2 directory instead of in the objects directory.

The fake pilot should be in the following directory:

Users/Hani/saved games/Thirdwire/Strikefighters2/Objects/pilots/fake pilot

It looks like it's in the correct place .. This is weird!  Can you post a screenshot of the pilot hanging in game?

the F-5a and consequently the C model didn't have a radar; so it's natural that you don't have one.

You haven't put the fake pilot from the package's pilots folder into your Mods pilots folder .

I see.. @baffmeister, who has done all the flight models has done so using using "medium' settings for the flight model.. so perhaps there's the problem.

No problems on my system @madvad , maybe you need to recalibrate your joystick?

You haven't fixed anything!    In order for the sounds, and I mean all the custom sounds in the package to work how they were designed (and into which a lotof time was invested), you need to follow these basic instructions from the installation instructions ..

Your solution is a "hack" which robs you of the chance to hear the other plane custom sounds including the engine, afterburner, and Hi-Fi cannon sounds ..

So weirdguy, follow the instructions and enjoy the package as its designers intended.. and stop posting these interim "hacks" which detract from the quality of the package.. it's not right!

The sounds are just fine!    The ReadMeInBrief.txt and the flight manual both cover the way the sounds should be installed .. obviously you've read neither ..  I suggest giving those a read so as to avoid any further grief..

Thanks to the administrators, the file is back up ready for download!  The package has been updated to correct the missing sidewinders, and I've included a "quick-fix" patch so that previous downloaders don't have to download the whole package again.

the LGBs automatically laze to the primary target only; just pickle when you're at a suitable altitude and distance and they'll guide right in.

Once the F-5C is out, I'll probably make a pack with the above-mentioned countries; excepting the Norwegian version which warrants a standalone version (there being so many differentiations to the standard F-5a).

Probably, but i don't think that this scheme was ever adopted operationally .. could be wrong though
