  1. Agree on the retrofit, however the UMs had provision for a gun, and i am referring to the recon birds. On another subject, this thread should have called MiG-21 Variants discussion, so we can discuss the rest of variants i have on the pipeline... What you say??
  2. Hey guys 2 Things: 1- If there are FOD doors, why no MiG-21R/RF have them? (at least the big majority) They have no gun provision. 2- If the plane is rolling at, let's say 40-60 KPH in the strip, there are chances something can avoid the FODs and get into the engine, me thinks... Nice talk BTW
  3. I will add it with bump maps to save some polys, i need to use some for the cannon structure and the airbrake well, but it's on the main idea definitely.
  4. Oh, soooooo funny! Be well brother!! Update on the F-13 Peek-A-Boo Cannon! Airbrakes still WIP
  5. As I am doing this with no specific order... MiG-21F and F-13 Cannon will be added later New gear doors Small diameter wheels and wheel bays And yes, I am working on the other versions too, completing the skins...
  6. Noted! Thanks! Now, on the SPS's I understand some were wire to shoot R-60s as this one... (May need the gun blast panels, to be added later) (yes, I need to remove the rearview mirror) Now, the regular SPS's Also, for the PF, I also read they were capable of using the Monsun dual Atoll rails, were they not? Keep in mind, that all is a huge ongoing WIP Any advice you can give me will be beneficial to this project... Thanks again!
  7. Thank you for that input, Gepard, good stuff coming from someone who was there! With the permission of the admins for the pics, they can be removed later, I got the M bort records from http://www.forgottenjets.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/ and based on it, I saw some pictures showing the gun blast panels and rearview mirror base (hmm, odd), perhaps they were retrofitted after some overhauls? What I can do, of course, is to make early/late versions to cover those plane timelines maybe?
  8. My MiGs will be always available of course...
  9. If I am allowed, you may lower the Bump Maps to 5% for panels and 2% or even 1% for rivets so they can show better, I use Normal Map Generator in this case, happy to share it, if you like.
  10. Gun Kill: Mirage IIICJ The press won't be showing this...
  11. Alone with Phantoms, Atoll kill, it's not the weapon, it's how you know your horse and arrows... Annndd again, alone with Phantoms, gun kill...
  12. They are coming along nicely, what do you say?
  13. So, with a hard and combined effort, we could improve this sim, can we not? Something to comes to my mind is: Will the bunch of updated objects (Planes, Weapons, Terrains, etc..) affect the performance of the game in, say, fairly strong computers? Mean, when we get them all in game...
  14. On the red side, I have several planes in different stages, hope I can deliver some, shortly... more detail means more time spent...
  15. And not related to the Fencer, I am making the Kh-38 Family Kh-38ME-V1 Kh-38ME-V2 Kh-38MLE V2
  16. Latest about the Fencer LOT'S OF DETAILING TO DO so far It Looks a bit of a Fencer, does it not? And now, some appendices are to be added... KAB-500KR KAB-500L KAB-500S-E KAB-1500KR KAB-1500L KAB-1500LG And there will be many more as time allows, Hope you liked it so far...
  17. Merry Xmas Kev! wish you all the best to everybody!
  18. Happy holidays for you guys, hoping you are having a blast there!!!
  19. Adding on what Laszlo (and thanks for the support, man) stated, you need to consider: Making a good model takes time, researching, downloading data and pictures, creating it and polishing every detail, considering the polys to use, animating it, skinning it, adding weathering, creating the decals, and spending your time positioning them, checking weapons positions, making the FM, and there is a lot of things still to mention it. So, all in all, IT TAKES TIME, and it will still be this way. We are an open community, and we are also open to new modelers to show their abilities, so, the invitation is open to you also. Regards.
