If i got your question right, in the plane's DATA.ini (EX: A-4E_DATA.ini) in the primary role you need to add, if they are not there: CAP,INTERCEPT, SWEEP, ESCORT, that will make you fight with other planes. hope this is what you are looking for.

I'll try to model the Whole new plane if no one is doing it, i just began to make some testings on Max and have the most relevanto info about the plane, even for the Iraqi version, that, to my knowledge is the only one that has chaff/flare dispensers on the wings, so wish me luck :D

I was tinking about it, what if by instance we adapt a camera in as much the same way as the Camberra, at least to give the the plane a chance to aim and bomb in the game, it might work, i think is doable via some ini tweaks.

I don't have the file right here, but for the Tailcodes, check the sizes, for the insignias check as daddyairplanes said, means if the insignias are already in the skin if so you can leave blank the decalname for the insignia.
