  1. Ok guys, let's suppose we have an X plane (not literally talking LOL) and it has been designed to be played in HARD mode, can somebody, somehow, tweak an specific .ini file for the plane to be used in NORMAL mode, or the planes are designed to be in an specific mode, i'm asking this because i read somewhere else here in the forum that a plane was to be used as normal only (don't know if it was like this); can someone explain me and take me out of the darness!!!
  2. Hola Algunas versiones de Windows 2000 lo traen, si no lo encontras mandame un mensaje, que yo lo tengo, por otro lado podes bajar algunos aviones de la ARA en la seccion downloads. saludos.
  3. So, there is no need to improve the avionics in let say Skyraiders, early MiGs and so on?
  4. It has come to my mind what is the difference between AVIONICS60.dll and AVIONICS70.dll, and if they can be used, by instance a plane who has avionics60.dll can it be "upgraded" with avionics70.dll, what it changes there?
  5. Second lesson about to begin: *Since this is an .exe file, in order to run it in windows xp you need to do a right click on the file and select properties *look for a tab called: compatibility *put a check mark where it says: "run this program in compatibility for:" *then select windows 98/windows me in the dropdown menu *save and you're done.
  6. Yes, and then, with the Weapon editor, open WEAPONDATA.ini and click save as: WEAPONDATA.ini, it will ask you to overwrite, so let it to do it, and voila!!! test it. You're getting close....
  7. Well cut that folder and paste it to your first Objects folder in the game hierarchy, if it asks for overwrite click yes to all. cheers.
  8. My friend my best advice is to use just one of them, but.... which one, will be your choice since both of them are superb, whatever your choice is it will be a good one. regards.
  9. Mmmm..... seems like it hasn't been correctly installed, so you'd erase the second Objects folder (the one inside Objects), and reinstall the Weapons pack, it's a bit risky because it could erase your aircraft folder, so make sure in the first Objects folder there is another one called Aircraft (and don't erase that one for God sake!!!) and erase the second Objects folder. if it goes too complicated pm me for more info. cheers and relax.
  10. They aren't folders they are files inside the folder Weapons, and both should be present
  11. Unless it's erased is next to it, so you'll have: WEAPONDATA.dat and WEAPONDATA.ini
  12. Both are located in: Wings Over *\Objects\Weapons Take a look there, otherwise you may need to install it again.
  13. OK, let's take a look onto your issue, what i will explain you can do it on the TMF MIG-29, i'll be using the MIG-21: go to your main game directory, let's use by instance Wings Over Vietnam, and look for this path: Wings Over Vietnam\Objects\Aircraft\MiG-21MF, inside the folder look for MIG-21MF_DATA.ini, thi file will be open with notepad, then scroll down to Weapon stations and you'll find something like this: // Weapon Stations --------------------------------------------------------- [LeftOuterWingStation] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=1 StationGroupID=1 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-2.68,-2.17,-0.42 AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 LoadLimit=500.0 LengthLimit=3.5 AllowedWeaponClass=BOMB,RCKT,RP,IRM,FT AttachmentType=WP<--------------------------------------here you need to add SOVIET, preceeded by a coma, so you'll have WP,SOVIET ModelNodeName=WingPylon_Outer_L PylonMass=60 PylonDragArea=0.02 LaunchRailNodeName=MissileRail_Outer_L LaunchRailHeight=0.10 LaunchRailMass=25 FuelTankName=Tank490_MiG21 since there are more stations, be patient and add the same to all of them, then close it and try again, you'll see more weapons appearing. if this is not working please let us know. regards.
  14. what kind of planes are you talking about? if they are soviet planes, make sure in the .ini data of the specific plane on the weapon station has the attachment type as: AttachmentType=WP, SOVIET save it and you'll see the rest of the weapons, otherwise let us know, we are here to help you...
  15. did that, no joy, you know, i even use the .cat extraction tool and extracted all the files, modified the gundata.ini there, and repack the file, with no results...
  16. i guess (don´t really know), the thing is, if i change the name, let´s say Cannon.wav to GSH23, put the new file on the sounds folder and change using either gun data editor, or manually with the notepad, my gun doesn´t sound at all, so, i don´t know......
  17. Guys, after have tried the above mentioned for you, my guns are still silent, so, the question now will be: what i´m doing wrong?
  18. Hey i just have a quick question to the .ini tweakers: It is possible to change the sound of the weapons so they wouldn't be the same in the game; i.e. the guns of a MIG 15/17 would have two diffrent sounds one for the 37 cannon and anothe for the 23mm, and moreover a different sound for the crusader, and so on... what would be the .ini file to touch?
  19. It's something we export outside, all the Americas should try it, you won't be disapointed!!!
  20. we have another food here, the most traditional, original from here and is called pupusas, it's basically a corn dough mixed with chicharron (mashed pork meat), beans and melt cheese; maybe doesn't sound right but i haven't seen anyone that doesn't like them, again you can eat them anytime.
  21. Are you quoting the flying dutch from a spongebob squarepants episode? :rapage:
  22. We call beans and rice, casamiento (marriage) and is eaten for lunch, dinner and breakfast too...
  23. What is the traditional food from Brazil, my friend?
