This guy blocked my account because he frequents a Latin Facebook dedicated to SF, as there are users who violated his rules, I block anyone who comments on that site just out of suspicion, that was the brief explanation he gave me when I complained via email. The guy is weird and he's also Latino although apparently he forgets it. -

The quality of GK's work is undeniable, but it is also impossible not to think about what he enjoys doing these characters... I'm sure they even have names... and the most intriguing thing they're thinking of... . "Damn, why wasn't I a better bartender? It sure would be more refreshing." -
Not Really a Question
PeacePuma replied to donnykrun's topic in Site Support / Bug Reports / Suggestions
They say that there is no bad question... for which I will give you my opinion, there must be 1000 reasons, but for me the most important is that when you take charge of a project that takes hours, days and maybe years of work, ( research, model, painting and code etc etc)... it shouldn't be an option to want to distribute it to the world for free and without due recognition, so if the community thinks the same as me, surely it is, they don't care that another site takes the credits with a work so dedicated just for the simple fame of the popular website or to provide facilities to a group of users, so that they understand more easily, here I leave a work done by those who are here, for those who come to look for it here. ..and that's enough common sense for me... PD A-team will surely have the same reasons with a touch of panic -

Why would there be a 5 file a day limit on downloads?
PeacePuma replied to Blitzer's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I could be wrong or seem prejudiced, but I would say that these subjects are the new generations, they still don't contribute anything and are already complaining about something... it's the fault of today's society that consents to everything. .then they are going to complain to someone else about the people from CA blocking them, why would that happen to them? clumsy!- 18 replies

PeacePuma replied to daddyairplanes's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Screen Shots
Hmmm yeah, something weird is going on with my inbox, I think it needed a little clean up, I deleted a few things in there... Well, not only do I fly F-16s, but I've been trying to finish a "simple" mod based on the Chilean Air Force for a long time... I say simple in quotes because over time I found details and solutions. of the same in the excellent viper team model... I actually thought of working on the YAP vipers, but although they are very precise the viper team work has more animations and covers the wide variety of blocks and variants... Here are some improvements... * Relocated (and slightly scaled) IFF and RWR antennas * Canopy frames with their respective black borders (in blocks D and B I managed to thicken the frame that divides the cabins) * The section of the engine shown between the fuselage and the nozzle on the B models had a mapping problem that only showed a narrow ring, now also fixed... Some corrections in the drawing of the panel lines (not of the number of rivets type) but something better was achieved. I did a lot of this with added 3D with fake pilot and hiding/overlaying things...also did some work on the canopy TGAs...so far I think it meets my expectations. Later I will try to show new images -

I start this post to share my frustration, like self-help clubs ... If someone wants to curse with me, I invite them to do it to feel better ... It turns out that I still have my old and glorious macpro 1.1, with all the possible improvements that you can imagine, and that it has been enough to run my design and editing programs, and of course the strike fighters series with everything and potatoes and other sims as well. .... well last night 2.30 am browsing in opera and with FinalCut open but without any project for a moment the screen was transformed into a kind of matrix world with green lines like a drawing of the apple II and then a couple of flashes and I was left with the screen with vertical lines of colors and typical mac sound in a very bad loop ... Damn, I said, assuming the facts immediately ... What happened? I'm not really sure, it just came to my mind that I had planned to change the thermal paste in a few more weeks (duh !!) since I had never done it, otherwise neither dust collected that graphic card Has something similar happened to you? ... have you recovered one after damaging it ... today I will try to look at your insides to see if I find any component visibly damaged ... although I do not think I find anything because these things do not create flames or smoke ... well normal people haha I have plans to change my ship but I did not expect it yet and in this way ... I will try to recover the graph and if not I will ask the ebay uncle

As they said before, having templates, new skins can be made and improved... if something is missing to paint, it can surely be improved over time, the same as details that you have found in the data... the emotion of downloading this bird deserves this gif -
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmitro Kuleba, has just announced through his Twitter account on February 27, 2022, that the largest aircraft in the world, the Antonov An-225 Mriya (Dream), was destroyed by the Russians, which is a large commission for what this plane represented, the only one manufactured and currently used by Antonov Airlines. The plane was at its base of operations at Hostomel Airport, a terminal that has been the center of attacks by Russian forces since day one. Ukraine has defended this important and logistical airport without success so far. The condition of the plane and how it turned out is unknown, but this will undoubtedly be one of the saddest news in the history of modern aviation. According to the BBC, the plane was scheduled to leave on February 24, but the flights were blocked. "It lasted three days until it was destroyed," the source said. The plane has been burned and it is estimated that it will take more than five years to recover it, at a cost of 3,000 million dollars. "We want the Russian Federation to pay for it," Yurii Gusev, director of the Ukrainian state-owned infrastructure and transport company Ukroboronprom, said.

F-35 Canopy Clipping Issue
PeacePuma replied to TheStig's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Complementing what daddy says... the main success of the F-35 is not being a perfectly conceived plane (because it was a disaster in several aspects) but for all that is known (economic pressures, politics, etc.) this was a big problem solved by engineering... and today it flies and performs missions despite 2 decades of work... which makes us think that with money even a broom can be transformed into a 5th generation fighter.... That is why it is the design reference for Koreans, Chinese and Russians (KF-X, J-31 and Chackmate?)
