    SENTRY '04: USAF E-3B/C's of the 552nd ACW and PACAF Since 1976 the USAF has used the E-3 Sentry to control the air battlespace it finds itself in. Starting in 1995, the E-3 fleet began to recieve the Block 30/35 upgrade. These upgrades improved its communications, navigation, and electronic support equipment over the older versions. The most visible change was the ESM pods on the cheeks, and additional fairings on the chin and rear of the aircraft. These upgrades continued until the entire fleet was completed in fall of 2001. This mod represents the E-3B/C fleet at a time of major restructuring, with the 552nd Air Control Wing having reduced to 3 squadrons and the two PACAF squadrons (961st AACS at Kadena and 962nd AACS at Elmendorf) operating 3 of each. Included This mod includes skin for the E-3B aircraft with fake pilot upgrades, skins and decals for all 5 squadrons active in 2004 as well as a 552nd ACW overall skin Installation unzip mod, add contents of "2 Mod Folder" to mod folder of your choice. allow overwrites Known Issues - The Sentry aircraft pull hard to port (left) when taking off. This only occurs when the player is hand flying the aircraft, when AI or autopilot flies this is not an issue - The cockpit is not a great match for the aircraft, however SF2 does not support any of their (E-3 or CT-49) original missions as player flyable and they were originally intended to be eye candy. Until we get a 3d modeller that wants to do a new E-3 or even 707 proper pit, this is how it will be.   6. i remember the tutorial, but dont think it covers the everything pack (the game only being available in the each and every game rather than all of the above option like now)
  7. oh yeah, you was combat arms. the mechanics and us cooks were smart, and brought two pairs of boots: one for formation and one for working afterwards and everyone has their own ways to enjoy it. sometimes its fun to bounce an airfield, sometimes take on a motor rifle company engaging our folks, sometimes dropping supplies over a checkpoint while doing recon and avoiding MiGs sometimes just running an intercept where maybe the bird intercepted doesnt try to shoot back can be nice too.
  8. so you want call of duty, not motor pool monday for the older, pre Hornet/Viper era birds, theres a certain quality with big terrrains of just not getting lost or flying into the ground (shush about following the way points)

  11. Wrench, the weapon itself wasnt the big part. creating a fake one for the Teen series and Phantoms was the purpose. Svetlin, thats the answer im looking for brother. an "USAF" RFT should limit things even more than a StationSpecificCode yakarov79, that is a more elegant solution for simple pair i think. but i am trying to keep the ini edits to a minimum and use mine for the suprisingly wide range of mixed wings in the USAF during the 80s and 90s, plus i've already gotten 90% percent there with the 370 gallon and now 610 gallon "gunpods"

First the question: i remember there being a mixed rocket pod/fuel tank for one of the Mirages. if im not crazy, what was it? was it stock or modded? and biggest question, what weapons category would it be? ------------------------------------ the reason for my question; as you know its hard to have mixed aircraft flights as the different aircraft can only use whatever weapons are availble to the originally selected aircraft. this defineatly precludes most fuel tanks. i've got somewhat of a work around. at least for the USAF fighter jets in the late 80s you normally wouldnt see these on this flight in the F-4G loadout screen currently i have this as a gunpod(minus rounds), but if i can get the info on the rocket/fuel pod that would be preferable. without any actual rockets of course i figure it would be a nice little touch of realism for missions like hunter killer SEAD, rather than not being able to have any tanks on. thank you all in advance for any assistance

  16. you know, show me a prop with that many holes and its all good. show me 95% of the jets out there with that many holes still flying and well, i gotta say ************************** meanwhile back to the screenies wingman even getting some this time around
  17. given timeframe, appendages and unit, i'd say the F-16CM Block 50. so Viper Team and before you all start looking at me, it looks wicked. but i wont be touching that anytime soon. i like to cyclie between types and am going to be on a Warthog kick for the near future

    Spring 1994: after one year in Germany, the 510th Fighter Squadron stands down as a Hog unit in Germany (aircraft and personnel taking on teh 81st FS identity) and stand back up in Italy as a Viper unit

Major changes preferred, although in some cases like KC-135, F-4D to E, and C-130 different models could be ok. and you gotta name the unit and rough year of the change. to kick off, the 120th Fighter Squadron, Colorado Air National Guard.   20. its not legos or motors, you cant just swap parts out you either need a new model (time to learn), a friend who can make one (learn patience). third option is to choose the pit you can tolerate best (lesser of two evils, like an election) there are some small things that can be done with texture and ini fixes, but it sounds like this isnt one of them.
