  1. Noticed that Vascon has changed setting for the new teamspeak so we can move to channels ourselves. As it is impossible for most of us to get back into teamspeak while a game is running, am posting proceedure for assigning hot keys to the "change channel" function in teamspeak. This should help alot for pilots having any questions for the host, or anyone else, as they will not be stuck in the sub channel. I did this kinda of fast, so not sure if any of the key bindings i picked conflict with BHAH key commands. Naturally everyone should pick key combinations that make sense to them. Also, keep in mind, you can select commands to change you from one Channel to another Channel, but you cannot change from a Channel to a sub channel within another channel ie:...you cant go from DasBrewHaus to Hun,,,you have to go from DasBrewHaus to Ready Room, and then go from Ready Room to Hun channel. You can however change from a sub channel directly to any of the other channels. From teamspeak, select settings, and then key settings In the next drop down, select "switch to" for action, select "channel" in the middle box, and click on the drop down in the box on the left, and it will list all the channels available. Pick a channel you want to switch to, and then assign a key setting for the action. Not sure if i was doing something wrong the first time i tried this, but it seemed it had to be a key combination, ie i could not assign just the letter "H" to get me to the hun sub channel. In the pictures attached, i had not yet set a keycombo for swithcing to the Briefing Room, not sure what purpose that sub channel served Pilots should also take a look at all the other settings in teamspeak that can be contoled with key bindings. There may be some there that are useful. If anyone comes up with a good set of key settings (and by good,,,i mean its easy for someone to remeber what key takes you to what room),,,and they dont conflict with any key settings in BHAH, export them, and upload the file here. Would be nice if new pilots could import the file into thier teamspeak, and have something that worked right off the bat.
  2. whew.....
  3. have a game up for skinz...8edt here,,,will probably be on for a bit. 71.174.88.138
  4. sounds good to me,,,,,but then,,iv always been a cheap date...
  5. yeah,,,good show prop-wasch,,,id have never gone in that direction!!!
  6. Sorry to hear that winson. And sorry for the hosting problems,,,,the whole block lost power, and there wasnt much i could do... Appreciate the fact i got on my cell, and spent a half hour with my wife at home trying to guide her thru setting up teamspeak with the new server so i could get message to you guys..... (she hung up on me eventually)
  7. just out of curisity,,can you outline your cfs3config settings?
  8. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=9537
  9. If i am wrong about this,,hopefully someone will correct me... Think ive read in the past,,that these messages are more annoyances,,than actuall problems.. If you go back to your cfs3config...and in overides,,,there are two settings,,,disable warnings boxes,,and disable advisory messages...if you click these,,,i think the messages will stop.. if i understand it right,,the other setting disable simulation warnings is for the things you see in the game like "near stall" and hits on your plane,,,but,,could be wrong about that...
  10. Hmmm,,,,,well,,,dont land!.. strange thou,,,2 with the same type of problem....... wish i had a clue,,but seems you have covered all the bases.......
  11. BHAH was tested on win7,,so dont seeing being the os...can you give us systems specs? and,,have you tried it on lower settings?
  12. Not sure when this is coming out, but if it comes out before sunday, its recommendded we do not install it till after sundays mp session. this will give us the rest of the week to see if there are any compatibilty problems.
  13. The post was just for the fact that one: it has always been said that if you wanted to revert to a previouse dm, all you had to do was load the previous dm,,and you would be all set...this is not the case in dm1.2 and dm1.1 and two, wasnt sure that the 1.2 had been universally accepted as the one we where going to use.. and three,,felt it was a relavant piece of information that should be shared... but if i read winder's post about the new super patch,,,all this is mute,,,,as he indicated all previous dm's will not work with this patch...
  14. Did not know this yesterday,,which is why we spent almost 2 hours getting mismatched aircraft in mp fortisboy 1.1 modifies most,,but not all of the aircraft dm fortisboys 1.2 modifies more (if not all), of the aircraft dm so if a pilot goes to 1.2 dm,,and then reloads the 1.1 dm,,,the planes that get modified in 1.2 but DO NOT get modified in 1.1 will still be at the 1.2 dm (hope this makes sense) so,,to go back to 1.1, think a pilot has to reload the original hardcore dm,,,setting ALL the planes back to one standard,,and then apply the 1.1
  15. ill go with the flow,,,whatver you guys decided on is fine with me... just to let you know,,,I did have to delete the bdp files after the 1.2 was installed,,,(first time ive had to do that)...and me and axe played,,, but when i went back to 1.1...and other ppl came on (sir rod,,,van bahr,,and dutch).. for about 2 hours..none of us could get into anothers game,,,mismatched,,and..not allways the allb's. If i had a clue what the problem was,,,i would post it.... one thing i realy think we need, is a utility,,or something,,that shows us exactly what dm we have installed...even if was as simple as a readme.txt that got put into the root of aircraft when you installed a dm...
  16. yeah,,im kinda surpised myself beard.......
  17. Hi,, Im assuming you are getting to your sliders thru cfs3config in your obd directory.. click on the "window" above the sliders.... the options you want to set are "overides" and "texture info" ,,,these are where you will find the settings unlcleal described, or any other setting recommendations you might come across in the forums'
  18. lol..your WAY too fast for me cj........
  19. will be on teamspeak tonight (wed) around 730 edt to help anyone with teamspeak and mp. will check THIS thread for anyone who cannot connect with teamspeak, and will try and get them up and running thru forum posts.. if you put up a post in the forum, and i dont reply right away, its probable because i am helping someone else with mp. Be patient,,will get to the forum as much as possible if you get on teamspeak, and i do not respond right away,,,dont give up,,,i wont be away for long. will not put up a game until someone gets on that needs mp help...
  20. You forgot to pat yourself on the back too winston! You and vasco have done a terrific job setting this all up and getting it running.... we really appreciate it.
  21. Dont think ive seen a dvii yet in the campaign...almost all alblll.... And,,not sure why this should be any different,,but ive flown several of the campaigns my myself,,,(gotta be honest,,set weapons to umlimited,,), and ive only been shot down once so far...
  22. sorry,,,have not been watching this,,,if you still need a copy,,,pm me your address
  23. what does "piltofly" mean?? gomez,,,i plan to have a help seesion for both teamspeak, and getting into mp games tonight around 730 edt...your welcome to join. if you dont have teamspeak, get it....if your having problems with setting it up,,post here,,and ill try and help you thru the forum.. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=38466
  24. I think the 15 minute "pre game warmup".. is a great idea.. Nor do i think a pilot having a problem and holding up things should be construed as them being rude, stupid, inconsiderate, or anything else.. There isnt a single one of us that hasnt held up things at one point in time..... I think the phrase im looking for is "s**t happens"
  25. Cant see why you should have a problems with cfs3 on vista64...too many ppl here have that os,, Seeing as how you dont have problems with BHAH, going to assume you did all the "run as administrator", and "run in xp compatibilty mode" settings for the exe's
