From what i can see, the calander is working. Next step is obvious...fill it up.... Just my opinion, but would like to see it get to where we have a specific type of session sheduled on specifc days/times. Then pilots willing to host that session, can make an just put their name up for the date. There is always the risk that no one will be available to host for a scheduled session. I will put up a few tuturial seesions, and a few dogfight sessions here and there.

Going to assume you would prefer to use your profile, rather than use the cfs3 controler utility, but you can use both, meaning that if you have a key free on your x45, you can assign it a funtion in cfs3 contoller properties Start something that gives you the hanger dropdown,,,i suggest goint into quickcombat thru the workshop (not the cfsqc on the main screen)... when you have the qc medal, hit escape to bring down the hanger dropdown, and select controls....click on controls,,,and find "paddloc view..toggle"..dbl click it, and its waiting for you to assing a key to that command,,,hit the accent key,,,and then you have to tab to the ok,,,and when ok is highlighted,,hit enter,,,now that key is assigned to padlock view or,,if you want to use the profiler,,,just assign the key you want to use for padlock to the accent key... if you notice in the off3 controller utility,,if you assign a key to a function, it does not replace the original keystroke for that command with what you just entered,,,it adds another map to the function. so if ` is for padlock,,,and you assing joy23 to padlock,,,you should end up with 2 entries for padlock in the controller section,,,one will be the original `, the other will be joy23.. hope that helps,,,

best fathers day present ive gotten so far.... wont hide the fact i preordered,,just always thout this was not the place...

knew you were not ignoring it ovs... are you the only one approving? imho, to be fair to the players on the other side of the world, would be nice to have someone from their neck of the woods.

OVS.. sorry,,,there is no "weekly sched" per say...(all though i would like to see it get to that point) Right now its just individual pilots trying to schedule sessions with enough advance time as to allow other pilots opportunity to get into the game.. Would like to think once pilots saw the calander working, they would use it more, and then we might get into a scenario where specifec types of games are scheduled for the same day/time every week. But as it is now,,,it doesnt seem to be working, so ppl are not using it, and going back to the mp forum.. Everyone seems to be asking the same questions.. can we change the format so the calander entries do not have to be approved....ie,,they go up just as fast as a forum post. Should something inappropriate go up, am sure someone will see it quick enough and let you know about it. I have to agree with some other pilots that its seems very little gets into the forum that has to be moderated, and don't see why it should be assumed the calander would be a target for something inappropriate.. if not, can the pilots that put up games on a regular basis be given whatever rights they need to approve thier own posts...

Was thining it would be nice to have a thread where pilots needing stuff,,,or pilots having stuff they are willing to give away to memebers of the community could post. Grumpybear was nice enought to send me that video card, and i sent 3 boxes of stuff to stumpjumper.... I got a ton of ethernet cards here (mostly linksys) that are available to anyone willing to cover the cost of shipping,,,,also have quite a few soundblasterlive pci cards...and some 80gig ata hard drives...and a slew of white cdrws and dvd drives (dont know if shipping would be worth it on one of these..) and i get stuff in all the time, so could earmark anything that someone requested.. Think it anything posted should be limited to game/computer related items.. Pilots would natrually have to be realistic about requests,,,,,ie.."I need a gtx280 video card" wont cut it... I suppose if someone had a highticket itme they wanted to make available cheap, that would be ok too,,,not sure if the devs want to see the forum go this direction or not...

im in edt (boston),,,so all you have to do is give me an approximiate time for you, and ill let you know if its good for me or not... I did schedule a session for 2pm edt, (dont know where you are, so not sure what time that is for u)... and gettting a cheap mic is close to throwing your money away,,,a mic/speaker combo in multiplayer is difficult.....too much feedback....if there is a walmart near you, they have a nice cyperacoustics headphone/mic combo for 18 bucks....

Aside from the facts it comes on june 21 ( i hate it when the days start getting shorter..),,,,hope everyone has a nice relaxing farthers day!

seems like alot of work has gone into that 1.6 damage model, so think it would be prudent to give it a shot.. Anyone wanting to get into a few mp games and try it out with me sunday, let me know, and what times are best for them. Im pretty flexible,,,just need a couple hours off in the morning to open all my cards and presents.... Ok..will shoot for around 2pm edt..... as this is primarily for testing that new dm, please be sure to have it installed. Just did a mission that saburo built with a stock off3 cruiser in it,,,, was doing a straffing pass,,,,and i noticed the 16inch guns,,,,seemed a little out of character for ww1,,, did another pass,,,and noticed the 2 huge radar towers,,,, so far to say,,some of what is in off3 was pulled from cfs3....just gotta take a look at what you are putting in there....

Will try and get a couple of mp pilots together and test out in a session.... Will let you know how we make out.. Thanks for all your hard work..

Get on stumps butt about that one,,,,he was in the process of a ww1 carrier,,,not sure how far he got with it.. and,,not sure if everything from cfs3 will play in off3 or not....

as i understand it, if there is no readme with the addon specifying how the file may be distributed, then you have to find out who made it, and get their permission before it can be available for public downloading.. But, (as in the case of the port sub base facility), alot of these files can be found in your cfs3 intallation. They just didnt get carried over from bhah... if you open a mission that you got in the old soh site in mission builder, and find reference to something that is not in bhah, first thing i would do is look inside your cfs3 directory to see if its in there,,,, if you should happen to get any of the old off2 missions to run in off3, and find any that you feel are really good, let us know, as we are always looking for new missions to play in multiplayer.

damn gb,, i thout for sure you didnt have that second ps connector in.. im kinda all out of guesses here,,, I'm sure you saw the memory configuration,,if you only have one stick, they prefer you put it in slot3,,if you have 2 sticks use either the 2 blues, or the 2 blacks... bout the only thing i can think of,,,(and just a guess) would be to reseat the cpu ONLY if you had to install it...if it came with the cpu installed, i would leave it alone... past that,,im lost. keep me posted as to how your making out,,,and sorry i coulnt be of any help Herr Prop,,,he has an led status indicator on the mb, thats where he is gettting the "8" from

hi not sure what the 4 pin connextors you are refering too,,,but the powersupply has 2 power connectors for the mother board,,,(that you will use,,,there may be some others,,like the old p4 4pin connector,,but you dont need it) ...one is the 8 pin i indicated in the other post,,and the 24 pin connector that is shown as #5 in the picture... all the other stuff on the powersupply is for add ons,,,(hard drives, cdroms, pcie...) you can start the computer up with only those 2 power connectors hooked up (you wont get very far,,but it will start),,,you wont get anywhere if you dont have both of them hooked up,,,, and,,only other thing i can think of,,,is that if you dont have the connector for the power switch on the 2 pins on the header connection. do any of your cooling fans start up when you hit the switch?

lol...i just found that facility,,,so if you put in your facilits folder,,you should be able to play 3 ok... port_sub_base_medium.rar
