Hi, yeah,,if i run the mission 10 times,,ill get kicked to the desktip 8 of them,,and get the mission failed to load twice. Im sure once pd gets around to it,,he will fix them.. in the meantime,,,get the ballon buster one,,its great

couple quick guesses is your cfs3 patched to 3.1a and have been run at least once before you tried to install off2? did you install everything to the default directories?

mission is up 76.67.5.13 will watch mission screen for Pilos who have selected seats (fly anything you want,,,allied or axis,,,axis wont have cockpits) will get on teamspeak and start game when have other players

will plan to have pds new ballon buster mission up around 830 edt will post ip when game is up. ran thru this mission real quick (went thru about 6 planes in the span of 10 mins) so you get a quick idea of what to expect, but it was fun

Yep, took notice of this did most of the changes to reflect rabu's settings (ati here,,,i have some he doesnt, and he has some i dont)... Didnt improve fps any, but game still plays terrific. think it boils down to ...if its not broken,,,dont fix it..at least for my game...

PD, if you get a chance, can you check missions 3 4 5 and 6 from you mission pac. We seem to get kicked back to the desktop when trying to run them. I downloaded the updated zip file, not the old one.

So, cant say for sure exacly which is better.... settings in question are the texture settings for pool or usage,,,forget which

Hate to be the one to take this thread on a tangent, but although i know that fps is supposedly not big performance issue in off3 ( as most recommendatison say to limit them to 30fps), it does bother me a little that i never get the high fps that others show. and looking at what rabu posted, i noticed that his cfs3 overides do NOT conform to all the posts i have seen for textures. Am not saying his settings are wrong, just wondering if anyone knows what these settings do, and the effect they will have on video perfomance. these are the recommendations in the off faq, and all the other tweaks i have ever seen, they are the same for ati and nvidia Composite Terrain Texture Pool - set to Managed Composite Terrain Texture Usage - set to Rendertarget Composite Aircraft Texture Pool - set to Managed Composite Aircraft Texture Usage - set to Rendertarget these are rabus Texture Info: Composite Terrain Texture Usage ....... Render Target Composite Terrain Texture Pool ........ Default Composite Aircraft Texture Usage ....... Render Target Composite Aircraft Texture Pool ........ Default for all i know, the effects of these settings could be so minimal, you would never notice the differnce from on to another

cant say for sure, but i would think if the patch was the problem, there would be a ton of other posts. assuming that you meant the 1.30b, and not even sure you can apply the 1.30b over anthing other than a 1.30 version, but if you can, is there any chance you did not have 1.30 when you applied 1.30b?

no idea why you are getting this,,,only question i have,,is it saying you "WILL" run in safe mode,,or does it mean to say it "CAN" run in safe mode... did the game run normaly after you exited out of the window? going to assume you went into your config file to see if safemode was checked in overides.

yeah,,, this is going on every computer i have. One really nice thing about it is that on my gaming computer, i did want avg on it, but because avg does not have a "disable" function, I have not put it on. with the alacrity it will be a snap to stop alll the process avg has running when i start the game. Without a doubt, it looked a little "scary" at first. Visions of ending up with a computer that would not start..(hate those situations where you really wish you had left things alone) but as long as anyone follows your outline, goes to the BV site and takes the time to read what they have to say, its actually a pretty easy utility to learn. Anyone who is trying to squeeze the most performance out of thier system for this game, or any game for that matter, should take a good look at this. one suggestion to your outline. When exporting the services list, suggest using the "text (comma delimited) (*.csv) format. The *.txt format is almost impossible to read for someone wanting to restore. This becomes even more usefull if the "desription" colum is removed using the "add/remove columns" in the services "view" option. If you have excel installed, this becomes real easy to read, if not, its readable in notepad, but no where near as understandable as it is in excel
