game is up 75.67.5.13 if players join, will try out some of pd's new missions will get on teamspeak when others join site has been incredibly slow last 30 mins or so, hard to get back to forum

i knew this was gonna turn out bad....

going to assume you have done all the obvious (ie workshop, sound settings) if you disabled sound in overides,,you get the meow, and the drums etc, but no sound in the game. and, this is just a guess, it has solved some pretty quirky problems in my game go to c:\documents and settings\administator(this is where it is on mine,,,it might be under your username on yours)\application data (appdata if you are running vista)\microsoft\cfssww1 overflanders fields, find the uisel.xml, and copy it to a safe place, This is just a safeguard, you can delete this file, and when you start off it will regenerate the file. now delete it, and restart your game. there is a sound on setting in there, so who knows, it might fix the problem. like i said,,,just a guess

Skimming low,,,,30 meters or less, and i have flak going off all around me. Was it really this low?

the missions are up (pd's) will plan to try them out tommorow if anyone is interested. might be interested in seeing what that utility has to offer. Noticed that my game play drops dramatically when certain players get on into a game. Doubt that it can be distance, cause max has been playing in my games alot, and he is in az, and from my end the games have been incredibly smooth.

I dont think proximity has ever been an advantage. Back in the old days when port attacks started becoming problems I got on of those "tracker" utilites that would let you know the source of an ip. The nodes would criss cross the country like you would not belive. So that packet from the guy 120 miles away could have traveled 3000 miles easily. ps...you indicated you might start doing ph3 missions....that still a liklyhood? All i see on the download link are rabu's maps, not sure if i am looking in the right place.

lol..yeah,,,i happen to notice that you where down under after the game. Pretty amazing that there was no lag between us. I usually keep the game up indefinatly. For whatever reason, it disconnexts eventurally, but the ip doesnt seem to change, so join as you wish. And when your ready to try and host a game, let me know, and if we can work out the time, i will join. Or,,just post the game in the forum, with your ip. If you have a router, you will have to forward ports.

Hi, Thats interesting, i didnt know that if you had crossfire, you had to have a "crossfire compatable" game. My cpu is not fast enough for me to consider crossfire yet. is the same true for sli? lol..ok...took me a while to find that "spoiler"

will leave game up for as long as computer stays up. For those new pilots that joined,,,,if you can get teamspeak, its always a help....there is a tuturial for mp in this forun,,it has all the settings. Sorry,,,,lost internet for a sec,,,but game back up bigtank,,,ports you need to forward are 2300 to 2300 in udp and 28883 to 28887 in udp you will have to google your router to find out how to do it on that particular one.

Hi that post was for thursday, but if you want to join a game, reply to this post, and i will put one up. Its 715 edt here (boston), and i will keep my eye on the forum for at least another hour. You will have to have the 1.3 patch AND the 1.3 hard DM installed to join.

It will play on what you have. I have it on a similar sytem 2.9 celeron, 2gig ram, and 256 video card (radeon 9250 i think). You wont be able to turn up your sliders much, (5-2-2-2-1) i think is what I am running. And not necessarily a dual core. Windows reports a ht processor as 2 in both taksmanager, and in device manager

Hi, I get the feeling you are using the "GAME LIST" window when you are looking for a mp game. Hosted game wont show up there. Like the previous post said, you have to watch the MP part of the forum, and look for a game going up. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showforum=207 If you want to set somthing up to eithere host or join, let me know, and ill try and eithe have a game up, or attempt to join yours. FYI, most mp piolots are patched to 1.30 and have hard dm. pilots without the same dm as host will get a mismatch. now,,,dont know if this is going to help you shoot down aces any more effectivly....

Well,,the game started,,,and played,,,didnt mess around with enough to say i can tell a difference. will be putting up a game tonight around 8is, if anyone wants to see if there are any compatablity problems, but assume you must be patch to 1.3 with hardcore to join
