  1. Dej, I guess (and hope) they are still a looong way away from that. Nice to see you here, by the way! What are you doing all the time?
  2. Good idea, Tony; see you!
  3. What a nice crew of aircraftsmen, Tony! They do look experienced and determined! Regards from Berlin! And I see, you even have a lady there - did she bring you guys something to eat and drink. or is she even involved? PS: are the pics so small, or did you shrink them? It would be nice to see the whole crew - with you - in front of the Mossie, when she is put together - large! You will need to find someone to take the pic, who is not a co-worker.
  4. Yes, it is/was. Here is German WIKIPEDIA about it - not avaiable in English, sorry. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayerische_Flugzeugwerke
  5. Here is what I had collected... Enjoy!
  6. Nice - some are new to me (I have quite a few posters).
  7. Ah, that is TRUE info - thx Jim!
  8. Correct. Winder works in Johannisburg, South Africa; Polovski in London, and Sandbagger in northeastern England. Software programmer RexHannover lives in Toronto, Canada. Shredward resides in Alberta, Canada. OvS is a New Yorker fireman. Paarma lives in Helsinki, and Makai in Hawaii. Former devs: RABU is in California, and Capt.Winters in Australia. Oh, not to forget our Scotsman: Matt Milne, who wrote all the wonderful tunes! So, yes: it would be impossible for them to have a few beers together after a hard working day. They can meet only rather rarely. OvS came over to visit Paarma, and then also Polovski and Sandbagger - here is a photo of the three at Shuttleworth (I think). Left to right: OvS, Sandbagger, Polovski
  9. Just found these posters in the website below. I love the old poster art - stuff like that isn't made anymore! https://acesflyinghigh.wordpress.com/2014/03/30/a-brief-history-of-the-royal-australian-air-force-world-war-two-1939-to-1945/
  10. Great news, Hauksbee! Many of them shouldn't be all too difficult. Vert Galand is a crossing with farm buildings in one corner, and three fields with Bessonau hangars, sheds, and tents. All these "buildings" might already be in WOFF and could be put together?
  11. Mmuahahahahahaaa!!!
  12. I'm all with you here! If we had airfields like Roucourt, La Gorgue, Bertincourt, La Brayelle, Bertangles, Ghistelle, Vert Galand, Boistrancourt, Bailleul, Metz-Frescaty etc. etc. in WOFF, that would raise the amount of immersion to an almost unbearable level for me!
  13. Beautiful - I must try another campaign with 94th Aero this winter!
  14. A wishlist like Calvin's - but dreaming must be allowed, I guess. Mmuahahahahaaa!!!
  15. Hey, Matt - great to see you here! Added today: Giesemaschine, Washington, USA Stache, Michigan, USA Matt Milne - WOFF Music Dev, Scotland, UK All maps are in post #1 of this thread
  16. Matt, I wish you and us, that one of the OBD devs wins the lotto jackpot - then here would be a chance, that WOFF would be developed further, and that you would get well paid for more WW1 music - I guess then you would think twice! Jim, you never give up, eyh?
  17. Thank you Dave! I always found you are a helpful team, and I would never have felt shy to ask for anything. Good success for the next 15 (16!) years!

  19. Once you had a wiper, you can't live without one - they didn't know any better. They also had no heating in the cockpit - and at 15.000 feet it must be damn cold. Nor did they have oxygen masks - nowadays they wouldn't let you fly up there without one.
  20. Mmuahahahahaaa!!! "Joachim" (in this writing) is a German first name - no wonder they find it hard to pronounce. Looks like a meal that helped the old trappers to keep the Grizzlies away... Mmuahahahahaaa!!!
  21. Yeah, another good point, Jim - I always liked that a lot!
  22. Well, I think you wouldn't. But I can understand you fully - I would HATE to make a speech in front of an audience! I would not be able to even spell words like "mama" and "papa", I'm afraid... Yes, that is true - our school English definitely goes with the country the language originates from. To be honest, many Germans think that Americans speak a kind of "bubble gum English". Which is not true, as I noticed, when we spoke with each other via TeamSpeak! Thank you, Jim! I wish you could have told my English teacher, Miss - ah, I forgot - she would have been wondering!
  23. Yes, it is similarly set up over at SimHQ; I guess they want it that way. Congrats on your 15 years of supporting the aviation community, Erik - great job!
  24. Poor sods - travelling into German terrain in a BE 2c must have been really frightening, especially when Jasta 2 is in the area. Here is a "tea rose morning" - also in a Jasta 2 campaign. The poor French guy didn't make it back for lunch...
