  1. Like so many others, this video is not available in my country, Parky. Sony Music is the worst hunter for copyright content - I only wonder, why it is mostly followed in Germany only, while everyone else can watch them.
  2. How many individual craft/paintings are on the CD, Lou?
  3. I couldn't fool you again - this time I show you a fighter Sopwith Snipe, as drawn by Bob Pearson. You can find more of his art on this website (click the periods and stuff at the left; then click the pics): http://www.cbrnp.com/profiles/quarter1
  4. Yes, I'll watch it live - with a pulse around 280! It will be a thrill - our team is very young and yet unexperienced in playing together, but they have the energy of the young. Your team is far older in general - but very experienced! I think, England could beat the German team on a psychological level. If our youngsters loose hope - they're lost! Must check, where "Jester 12" are based right now - maybe they need some more airfield defense missions flown by my team after that play?
  5. As far as I remember, you need to patch BHaH first, then install HitR, and then patch HitR (there was a patch for changing the AI aggressiveness). Best check out the FAQs and help tips at: www.overflandersfields.com
  6. It's amazing what some people come up with!
  7. You wouldn't have. I am quite sure, that they knew more about healing a nasty wound, than we believe to know about them. Herbs, brews - what do we know? Even head surgery was done to some extent - skulls with holes drilled into them have been found; and the bone clearly "told" the scientists: this person had lived after the surgery. Sure, but that was mainly because of the conditions, under which you "work" in a war, after a battle, when hundreds of badly wounded, bleeding, screaming, dying men are thrown before the medic's feet in a wash of blood and dirt. So I'd rather say: to be in a war is not a good situation.
  8. Wasserzeichen = watermark Ich weiß auch läängst nicht die Hälfte in Englisch, aber hier kannst Du es finden: http://dict.leo.org/ You can download the full FRAPS version for 19,90 Euro (I payed it via PayPal). That includes later updates. With FRAPS, you can record your sortie, in parts or one piece. You can even "pause" to change views etc. Later you cut these pauses out; you edit the stuff with Windows MovieMaker. There you can cut the bits out, that you want to use; you can make titles and effects, and a soundtrack. It is a lot of fun; and also a lot of work time to get it right. I would like to see a good Creaghorn style patrol - but it would have to be made by a very good "director", cause maybe there wouldn't be much "action". So, one would have to catch everything in perfect pictures and lighting; one would need to switch over to enemy flights or other flight members; or ground vehicles etc., to make it all worth watching, without boring the spectator. If you really want to make videos, you can always ask me for advice; and I'm sure, you can ask Hellshade too.
  9. The neolithic people were anything but primitive. They could make decent clothes already, they hand-tooled fine weapons as Bullehead can do so well, they even had developed medical treatments - who among us (with the exception of Bullethead) could do such things, and help himself, if lost in a wilderness?
  10. No, not in DiD - but if I don't fly DiD, I sometimes even fly with Labels; just to have some fun. For the video, I left the text on, cause it shows the hits (the video is rather too small to see much detail). For the next video though, I want to make a "pure" air combat movie; without any aids or assignments.
  11. Yes, von Paulus - it will be "Krauts vs Crumpets" now! Wonderful!!!
  12. After some tips from Hellshade (thanks, m8!) I had to try a video here too. My choice was a fight between 3 Albatros D.Va and 3 F2b Bristol Fighters. I chose advantage for the Brisfits to make it a bit thrilling. Hope you like it! (Still got to find a way to get rid of jaggies). Please watch the end title 'till the end. Thank you!
  13. Some National Teams just needed better coaches, who put the right combinations together, and place the men there, where they will perform best (Gerard; right foot player = right side!). England vs Germany should be exciting: a team of experienced players against the youngsters. Could be fun!
  14. Wow! That's what I meant, Hellshade - a great fight with no sim aids on, as it would have looked back then! Your flying is pretty cool, and your aiming and hitting even more. You show OFF in your last videos with it's enormous capacity and richness of scenery and aircraft. And I'm sure your YouTube videos will surely attract many more WW1 air combat sim enthusiasts.
  15. I started with around 17 % a year ago; now I reached 30 % - still rising, I hope!
  16. I only got that now, comparing the goals difference. What a pity! But heads up, South Africa - the first time is always the hardest.
  17. Congrats, Morris! Congrats, South Africa!!
  18. Yeah, Jasta 6 gives the Crumpets Hell! Good you fly again, CJ !
  19. What an epic battle indeed, Hellshade! Can you make one without Labels and TAC on, so it looks more like reality ? That would be even more thrilling, cause the spectator would not know friend from foe and sit and sweat with the pilot.
  20. There was another link for this site, "Ciel de Gloire" (Skies of Glory): http://www.cieldeglo...cueil_14_18.php Click on the little national flags to get further.
  21. Just found this French website, showing many of the WW1 and WW2 aerodromes in pictures and maps. In the list on the first link's site, you can click on all those airfield names, which are underlined. http://www.anciens-a....com/index.html This link will show you Bailleul Asylum as an example http://www.anciens-a...ns/Bailleul.htm In there, I found links to other websites, like this one about the American pilots in WW1: http://www.usaww1.com/ Enjoy!
  22. First I didn't get it, but then I clicked on the B/W pic I got, and I came in to the website and the film. Great find - thanks for sharing, Carrick!
  23. Thanks a lot, Hellshade! I only have Windows Moviemaker - without "Live" in there. I'll try to get it right with that. If it should be crappy, I'll dowload the "Live" version.
  24. Don't Panik! (Douglas Adams) Davy, the German ref will be no problem - we are fair sportsmen (despite the Wimbledon goal!). And he can't whistle any worse than the ref in the match Germany vs Serbia. So please don't blame us, when England should proof unable to win the match. Tch!
  25. Questions to HELLSHADE: Just uploaded a video to YouTube, and they made pixelcrapp of it, so: - how can I delete a video from YouTube - how do I get such a good quality as you videos show Your tips would be highly appreciated, Hellshade - your videos are great!
