  1. Wow, great picture, Ulti! tranquillo, I'm not so sure wether you need a new graphic card. The WOFF graphics are not on a different engine (or how it's called); it is still like OFF, but with improved landscapes and clouds. Should work for you, I guess.
  2. TROOPER117 - England The maps are in post 1 of this thread
  3. tranquillo, what system specs do you have right now? I am running WOFF with this equipment (and it works alright, though 64bit might be better, with more memory): CPU: Intel i5 (2500k) at 3,3 GHz GPU: ATI RADEON HD7870 (2 GB mem) PSU: 750w Mem: 4 GB (3.48 useable) Yeah, I saw what happens in England right now - looks they might have produced "Das Boot" there without leaving the island...
  4. Made this list today, which you and I can print out, and fill in our personal assignments. I took the freedom to leave out the "Flight control" keys, cause I cannot imagine anyone trying to fly these crates per keyboard. Enjoy!
  5. Tonyo, I don't know the menues of NVidia cards, but it should be like with ATI, that you make a right-click on your desktop; then open your NVidia Control Panel, and set Anti-Aliasing to at least 8x, or even 16x; and Anisotropic on 4x or 8x. Select also "Supersampling". You'll find it. It will work wonders!
  6. Nowi, Florida, USA SgtWilson- England Crash56 - Germany The maps are in post 1 of this thread
  7. Tonyo, you could buy an 80GB SSD drive, on which you run your system and programs. And keep the other drive for storage. That's what I did. System starts much faster now.
  8. Tonyo, what graphic card do you use? Maybe you could improve the visual quality - especially the wires of your craft would look much better with 8x Anti-Aliasing, and 4x Anisotropic Filtering. Perhaps you check, if at least the 8x AA is set in "Workshop"?
  9. Once I'm ready, I'll be glad, I suppose. But the 5 - 6 hours before that moment... arrgh!!!
  10. Arrgh, Javito, I hate such phases; fortunately only had that twice in all the years. But now I'm thinking of going from 32bit to 64bit - a total new-install too. Arrgh!!! No idea, who shoots better, Jim. In OFF, you would pilot the crate better than the AI pilot, to give your gunner a good field of view and fire on the enemy. But the WOFF AI is so much improved - you'd have to test it in QC, I guess.
  11. As a first step, I have updated the OFF Forum Pilots Maps at last today, after clearing some of my attachment space (thx for the hint, Eric!).
  12. Update 10 Februaryr 2014 - 22:33 h Berlin time (= GMT + 1) Today the first new WOFF Pilots were added to the (W)OFF Forum Pilots Maps They will be shown in the same style as the OFF pilots, because many of these are meanwhile also WOFFers now. Blazing88s - Manitoba, Canada Slick Wilhelm - Minnesota, USA MFair - Mississippi, USA rockmedic109 - California, USA Morgans_Raiders - Ohio, USA casperpitbull - England stufer - England hertzie - Netherlands Rover_27 - Russia The maps are in post 1 of this thread
  13. They are not gone - they are only just lurkers behind the hedges. I wished some more people would come up with something to tell. Life is full of good stuff to discover!
  14. Oh - at that time I was still an army enineer Feldwebel, ho had just received the answer to his request: the order to transfer to the flying school at Bad Döberitz, west of Spandau.
  15. Enjoy the quiet times, Jim - the fokker scourge should be arriving soon!
  16. Yep, Mai, Rumey and Dilcher were in my flight - all with their personal skins!
  17. Here are the first shots from my first sortie with Jasta 5. It was an eventless patrol, which allowed me to familiarise myself with the "big bird", the Albatros D.V. The aces already received the Albatros D.III (OAW), but I must say I like the D.V - at least for flying around sightseeing. The future will surely bring air combats too - I wonder how she will behave in those. The skin is a revamped one from OFF my days - for Jasta 5 I still like that little raven, drawn by Wilhelm Busch. It has an unfortunate fate though - it flies through an open window into the rooms of an old widow, where it is doing some cheeky things, drinks a glass of liquor (my picture), and final strangles itself accidently in some knitting wool. Fits my past fates with Jasta 5 - I never got very far there. Hopefully this time - or I must change my emblem...
  18. Everybody must be quite busy in the early stages of 2014 - there is so little activity on our beautiful little airfield here. I hope we will keep it alive - it just requires some takeoffs and landings by all flyers here every day, to keep the grass short, and the mess alive and kicking. Come on, pilots, your everyday is surely often grey enough - add some colour to it!
  19. Wow! Never seen anything like this! Yeah, if we Germans can do one thing very good, it is marching or flying accurately in one straight line.
  20. Seems the newbies are all on the other forum?
  21. A very believeable, nice photo! Which time are you flying there, Corsaire? I have a pilot there too, with Jasta 17 in Feb 1917! I'd hop over to your two-seats mess, and we could drink some wine together!
  22. Haha - I just wanted to say "Le vrai Francais portes un moustache" - but then I saw the Iron Cross...
  23. The WOFF pilots will just be added, cause it would be too much hassle to sort out those, who did fly OFF before, and those who didn't.
  24. The simpler you keep them, the more believeable they are. Looks good to me so far, Beanie.
  25. AbeBooks seems to be an international online shop for antiquarian books - when they don't offer it, it must be REALLY rare.
