I was running the game on easy. Had the Tac on and some other thingy. Anyway, when the bullet hits the other a/c a label pops up giving a name that way U know hes an ace. Since I knew that it was a no win situation with 2 Aces in one flight of a/c, I didnt even bother to read the names. Just call me Toasty.

I was feeling like a top gun . In most of my campaign flights with Jasta 4, I was doing the right stuff. mosty turning before I was fired on and getting in a lot of hits with the 1st bursts. Untill , ya U guessed it they cleaned my clock. We were 3 Albatross D-2s swinging towards the Archie fire when 4 N-17s with a Indian Head on the body between the cockpit and tail jumped us. Twisted and turned got 8 hits with my 1st burst on an Ace swung back around and lost him then an Albatross went smoking down. I circled lower and picked another N-17 fired 2 hits Another Ace. By then, I was low and slow so I knew the Ax would fall soon . Tacka ,Tacka from above and to the right hits all over the top wing as a a/c shot over me. Tacka ,Tacka from behind The Engine caught fire I slanted down and burned in level flight all the way down.

Olham: From what I recollect of the Film. Tab Hunter was the Yankee in the film. they used replica ? Penquins a type of training a/c for the time period with clipped wings They sort of drove them on the ground and that was about all no real flying a/c . It does have a hollywood drama to it,

Dont know if I am that Computer smart ? I am still trying to down load Skins and a Hollywood type damage model. What I did was in the Campaign I just skiped the bombing missions and flew only the Recon/Arty flights granted it takes a long long to build a 17 hour pilot ( 15 days) But I got on with the game Thanks for checkin on me. I have been hearing about Storm of War for a long time but it just never seems to get done. Off is here and is playable. The eye candy looks good on this old machine and I have a lot of fun and new friends. In conclusion, I agree with Unclear about if ifs and buts were candy and nuts we would have a fine Xmas. Well The critics didnt like this film, of course they didnt like Flyboys. I have the DVD and saw Flyboys along with the grandson and we liked it. The critics didnt like the Red Baron film but if it shows up in the U.S. I will buy it. In conclusion, I think I will buy this one too. Thanks Guys for your input.

I was over at a site called The Yellow Airplane.com and spotted a French DVD with an English Actor in the film.The information says that The the film is about a Pilot who overcomes handicaps to Knock down a lot of a/c during WWI. Any one ever see it? Does anyone have it? Its caled Angels Wing dont know when it was made. Its in French but has sub titles. Thanks

As always U were spot on, The lewis as used for a/c did indeed have the 47 Rd drum and the 97 Rd drum one was even fitted to a Wright Flyer It may very well be that it was a weight = drag thingy on the a/c so some pilots chosed the lighter pan 47 drum mag. Well on to the German ammo issue. ( Info was by internet)

My addition might be off, But the Lewis mounted on a N-17 shows 291 Rds = 6 Drums of 47 Rds and some left over signal bullets ( 291 - 6x 47) 9 Rds. So I guess Mc Cudden was wrong or he had non-standard Drums.

Ive Played SH4 a while back but didnt think it was as good overall as SH 3. I still hual out the U Boat every now ang then and raid the convoy routes.
