  1. Well said CaptS. We all know that P4 will be great because we have full confidence in OBD's excellence.
  2. The problem is not the quantity but the quality of the games, specially in what concerns gameplay.
  3. The main problem lies on the AAA titles where games are seen only as commodities. Everything is reduced to the lowest common denominator. There's no passion, no soul. I'm beginning to feel totally fade up from these guys, these Bobby Kotick's that now rule the game industry. The future of PC gaming lies in the small developers and with the indies. It's where most of my money goes. You bet. As far as I know GoG it's having a lot of success.
  4. Phonetically, in Portuguese, would be Prosste. In Portuguese we say "saúde" to say cheers. Now try to say it Lou. EDIT: I'll help you. Phonetically is Saw-OO-de.
  5. I noticed, Lou.
  6. I didn't know if it was with or without a u. So I googled it. I picked the first one.
  7. Willkommen, Herr Olham. Proust!
  8. Well, next Sims will be medieval.
  9. +1 @UK Not all games, but most are ready for Win7. GoG it's not free. @Caps Nice collection, but The Sims???????
  10. Javito I didn't mention X because that's such a obvious title, that I wonder how did you have missed it? I bought X Superbox on a steam's sale last Christmas, but didn't played it yet. I've tried a couple of years ago, but I wasn't in the right mood for that game at the time. From what I've read in some forums people advised to start with Terran. But Bullethead is our X guru, he knows better.
  11. Yes. Evochron is more simulator than Starpoint Gemini. You should try the demo. IMO, the main problem with it, is that it lacks SP content, specially a proper campaign. Most of the players end up playing in MP. But has a space combat simulator I find it nice. http://www.gamearena.com.au/pc/games/title/evochron-mercenary/reviews.php?id=5088861
  12. Have you tried Evochron Mercenary? Actually has a space sim, Newtonian physics, works well. Have you seen also Starpoint Gemini?
  13. I'm with you. I've once tried WoW and that was my conclusion.
  14. You'll have SW:TOR. It's more profitable.
  15. I just love this corporate crap: Not that I really care about Guitar Hero. http://www.vg247.com/2011/02/09/report-activision-kills-guitar-hero-cans-true-crime-hong-kong-lay-offs-at-freestyle/
  16. Yes it will be the final. [sarcasm] ME4 will be a MMO. [/sarcasm] Don't forget to keep the saves from ME1 to use it in ME2. ME2 is more shooting than RPG and that's a shame. But the graphics are better, the levels are well designed and the story is as good as the first.
  17. Try System Shock 1 and 2. Or Penumbra series. These are the real ones. However don't try it with the light off and phones on. After that I too refuse to play more survival horrors. They have used/abused the IP until it was completely exhausted. They will do it the same with the CoD series.
  18. Let's start the thread. I'm sure that from now on will begin to see some news about it. It would be great if they returned to the RPG idea. http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/13/bioware-designer-talks-about-goals-for-mass-effect-3/ I saw this in another forum: Lovely cgi trailer: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/vga-10-mass-effect/708363
  19. By the way are you playing BG2 vanilla? Have you installed the widescreen mod? I'm trying BGT. I'm installing it in this moment. I'll have to start again.
  20. I'm afraid it's not exclusive of Javito. In this moment I'm playing Baldur's Gate, Eschalon Book I, Arcania Gothic 4 (who would believe that), Dragon Knight Saga and Precursors. I just finished yesterday Geneforge 5. In February will come E.Y.E. In March Dragon Age II. In May Panzer Corps, The Witcher 2 and probably the most expected Deus Ex 3. From March on I'll have a serious problem.
  21. Well this is more strategical than tactical, however it might interest you Hasse Wind. http://www.thelordzgamesstudio.com/site/games/commander-the-great-war/#
