  1. Widow, if you've a 2 core system, RoF will run better in XP. If you've a quad or higher than it will run better with Win7. The game works better with system with more than 2 cores. At least this is better than Cliffs of Dover that seems not be optimized for multicore. EDIT: Don't trash it. Sooner or later you'll have a better system. That's a natural evolution.
  2. DDR = Double Data Rate It means it will have two data transfers per clock cycle. So the actual clock speed that you RAM works is 667. However because it is double data rate the effective speed is 1333 (667x2). It doesn't matter if it is DDR, DDR2 or DDR3 it's always double data rate.
  3. http://computergames.ro/ro/downloads/viewitem/id/19576/name/the-trench-pre-alpha-gameplay-trailer/section/streaming.html How are they going to do a game out of this?
  4. Good job, OBD!
  5. I really would like to know. he was having some health problems. I've been thinking about writing to him. I've his address. This is just a forum. Sometimes I get lost with the bounds of what is acceptable and not. Do you think it would be intrusive of me, to write him? Please tell me what you think.
  6. That was easy. Really easy. Look what one of our dearest members posted in here: http://combatace.com/topic/51991-amigas-wings-diary/page__p__379760__hl__amiga__fromsearch__1#entry379760
  7. The distribution is by avangate. So you'll have to buy it through OFF's site. http://www.overflandersfields.com/Buy2.htm
  8. It seems there's a way around the epilepsy filter. If you add a line in the config.ini file it will boost 10fps. antiepilepsy = 0 They are also working in a patch which will give an extra 10.
  9. The future will be downloadable only products. Forget the retail.
  10. Kaspersky, sometimes, can be a pain in the ass. I love when the databases get corrupted, and suddenly its process takes 100% cpu usage. Well for me it's ok. Because it's the way I make money. Lost month I got 2 assistance calls, thanks to our dear friend.
  11. I agree with almccoyjr. Have you installed lately, anything?
  12. Well Olham, in my view, Brannagh performs a perfect Heydrich. But the 1984 German tv, Wannseekonferenz, production seems to be more convincing, maybe less theatrical. I think the German production is more hard to find, but if you want it I can provide you a copy. PM me.
  13. Great job, Dej.
  14. Those are my thoughts. We are all waiting for P4.
  15. Like in the war, part of the time was spent on the bar.
  16. Of course. I saw it on TV in the seventies. We joked a lot with the dances.
  17. You're mistake elephant. That's a kind of non intention prejudice. Imagine this It's said (it might not be true) that Bach compose the ciaconna movement of the second Partita, when he was travelling and got the news that is wife has suddendly died. Grief, sense of lostness, shared memories, despair....... This is music. An art form. It's not pompous. Classical music, like jazz, as an extra advantage it depends a lot of the performer. That can change dramatically the final score. This is just a small part of the movement. If you're interested here are the complete parts.
  18. Olham! I just knew that you'd choose Raumpatrouille Orion.

  20. Another corridor, and heavilly scripted, shooter. Sorry Hellshade this one is a definitely a no for me. I just can't stand no more the CoD and its clones.
  21. I'll repeat my post here. Jesus. I just can't. I could say Mozart's Requiem is the pinnacle of human culture. But probably I could say the same about the Beethoven nine. What about the Bach's Goldberg variations, or Partita number 2 for violin and Cello suite 2. And Mahler "Das Lied von der Erde".... I couldn't forget Vivaldi's Nulla in mundo pax sincera and his Stabat Mater. I'm forgetting Chopin preludes and Rachmaninoff third. Debussy , Satie..... I just can't.
