Version
23 downloads
A-10 Ferris Splinter [Fictional] This is a basic Splinter scheme based on an F-15C design modified for the A-10 airframe, and also some artistic liberties as well. While the A-10C is shown, this can also be used on the A-10A, simply copy and paste the folder into the Bazar\Liveries\A-10A or A-10C and select “Ferris Splinter No.1” in the Payload Menu and go fly. -
Any word on a new 'Strike Fighters 2' title?
EricJ replied to TeaAndScones's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Exactly, and more often than not devs make planes we may not be interested in the first place so it has to be a "tool box" for us. -
[HELP] Linking aircraft skin/decals to aircraft number
EricJ replied to shomu1's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Also SidDogg did what you're kinda looking for, as he made a full squadron set using one basic texture for the squadron and uses decals to go from CAG/CO to line aircraft (the tactical grey ones) based on number. I'm more of a direct to texture person as I like doing CAG and CO jets (in regards to the Supers or Legacy Hornets) but will use decals for x02-x15 (some squadrons go to 214/215 or 114/115 or 3xx or 4xx) jets as that's how I prefer to do it. -

Well, my point is that why should TK bother when the community has already made them given engine limits. And if anything we'd only improve the existing aircraft with the updated engine. BTW, while it may be clearly defined that I don't have a MODDER tag like everybody else, rest assured I am one too. -

Apparently you haven't found the Downloads section, TK does some good work but really... TMF and others have done a real good job at representing current aircraft capabilities and not for us having to spend one red cent. So while I'm sure it's possible, community made stuff is where it's at. -

Might be your flight profile, as I generally drop a few miles out (not too close but not too far, I tend to drop like they're all GBU-38s I guess) and hit all the time. -
Anyone bought the Mig-15 module?

I'm in the same boat, it was gifted to me but I haven't taken it out yet as the Hogs are keeping me busy, along with the Hawk. -

Okay hit one for one so... I think it's your GuidanceType that's the issue, so open up your Ini file for the V4 and I think back then it was "6", and just change it to 8: GuidanceType=8 -

Well.. that is a problem But as far as guidance they're pretty good hitting the target, I like them in the Afghanistan map quite a lot, though I stick with the 500lb more than anything heavier.
