  1. Hmm... could you post a screenshot of the "sinking" then? What FM setting are you using? Normal? Hard? And what loadout are you using?
  2. Not really, it has nothing to do with the terrain, it's the mission setup that's the problem. You have to make sure that the carrier is selected, that the "Navy Aircraft" is checked. Granted I'm more familiar with KMD than Le Missioneur, but the effect should be the same. Also, you may be moving the icon around slowly, which causes that problem as I've flown off most third party carriers with minor problems, i.e. not paying attention to detail (Super Hornet, Tomcat, F-35C). Also it's not USAFMTL's F-35C, it's Klav81s, USAFMTL is just helping the project along due to RL issues Klavs81 has.

Since I'm not good with vehicle skins I did a cheapie and went with what I have. Template .bmp included. For SF2 but readme has instructions for adapting for SF1 series. Model by Razvan Stanciu cheap texture by EricJ.
  4. I think its the Flash uploader. I had a problem with it one time, and never used it again. The simple uploader worked fine though. Could just be a browser thing as I use Firefox.
  5. Or EF2000 V2.4, when you can have the JTIDS display in the same manner.. nice work Crusader
  6. Added the screenshot from Suicidal... Looking cool...
  7. Nice work... going to eventually get me flying again...
  8. Yankee Air Pirate 1 has the HH-53 if my mind serves me right.
  9. Agreed. I haven't touched the settings for the cockpit in any of the updates, so it's most definitely a patch issue.
  10. Try these. SU-30MKK Photoshop templates.7z
  11. The D will be available in "two weeks" from Mirage Factory.
  12. You have to extract them from the CAT files, which one? I don't know offhand. Then in the Objects/Aircraft directory, create a similar folder, place your modded ini's in there, and therefore the game will use those instead of the default ones.
  13. Wikileak Apache video

It's Iraq man, I spent my year there and nobody in my Troop could figure the place out, to include me. It's just the way it is there man. Besides, you'd be amazed how many people they can fit in one of those. Was doing a search and a good sized family came out of there. Weird, kinda like the TARDIS...
  14. I honestly don't think so, as sometimes I get the same problem. If there was a way I'd like to know too...
  15. Wikileak Apache video

I remember when I was in Jalalabad on the way out and (later on I found out) it was a Captain pointing four PVC pipes (like that old Vietnam era M220 rocket launcher, if I remember the designation correct) at a helicopter that was flying by. I was so livid that if there wasn't a 1SG standing there, I would have gotten into some serious trouble for giving him a beat down. Just stupid s**t like that could get him and those around us killed.
  16. Wikileak Apache video

Well that's why the Apache crew (and others) have that attitude, the constant stress does mess with your mind. And no I'm not going to feel (never did) sorry for some "poor" Taliban or Iraqi who's trying to kill me. The basic feeling is that either it's him or me, and sorry, I don't deploy to die for my country, it's to make sure they die for theirs. Don't get me wrong macelena, you pretty much hit it on the head why they act like that in your second paragraph. Stretch that out for a year and you'll get what you see.
  17. Wikileak Apache video

It's Hooah But well said CrazyhorseB34
  18. Wikileak Apache video

It can be chalked up to coincedences, and the fact that the pilot used "Bongo" when talking to the ground elements is a sure sign he had a good idea of what it does, based on past history. Because Iraqi casevac is pretty damn efficient, and so it was only natural to assume.
  19. Wikileak Apache video

Which is also true suhsjake. As for the pilots... after listening to the pace of the engagement, it's clear that the pilots took the time to establish the fact that they were armed, and not just deciding at the instant to waste them. Generally it's gotten so bad that they'll throw a 15-6 (I got hit with two in Afghanistan, and I was clean) at you faster than the insurgents can shoot at you. So pilots, and the ground elements will think about ROE more than you think. And as far as having been prone to make mistakes? Yeah, but the outgoing unit probably took the time to show the new pilots what's going on. As far as insurgents not realizing they're spotted? I saw a good CJTF-82 vid and the T-ban targets were definitely not worrying about the Apache until it opened up on them. And to be quite honest with you, if they hadn't pointed out the cameras, I would have thought the reporters had AKSU's.
