It'll be a while yet, Lewie, I'm building a WW1 type biplane at the moment. Not a scale version of a real one but just made up. The Howard Wright is in the planning stage but will be next on the building board unless I take a fancy to the Albatros DV I have plans for.

Looks like I need new glasses then.

Nice one, Lewie. Much prefer building the older ones now - just working on the plans for Howard Wright Monoplane 1909. I just haven't got the space for 1/2 scale - I wish - so have to be content with 1/6.

Yes, it's Winnie the Pooh with homemade goggles. I also am a great fan of the books. And yes, the plane is remote control. I just made it look like a Stearman - it isn't a scale model of one.

I like that sort of pilot when I'm not trying for scale planes. This is my pilot on an aerobatic biplane i built.

I saw a sophisticated worm in my garden the other day .

Had a hard days work today and was looking forward to a mission with OFF. Halfway through my flight OFF stopped responding to my joystick . I exited from the flight and shut down OFF and TrackIr. On testing my joystick it proved to be working OK. To cut a long story short I tried running OFF with and without TrackIr, various combinations of USB slots (I've got 10 altogether). The best I could manage was to get a single response from the joystick in QS and then, once again no response. Each time I tried to configure the joystick everything was fine and working but as soon as OFF was started - no go:dntknw:. At one point the stick button I have set for centering TrackIr didn't work for that either. I finally decided to do a system restore to yesterday before my latest updates - bingo. Everything works just fine again . On looking at my update history it seems that the only thing that was updated yesterday was a virus definition for my MSE. Just to let you guys no, I have a Thrustmaster 1600 and am running Win7 64bit - just in case anyone else experiences the same problem. Don't know what I'll do about future virus definition updates though.

I see your point about it being an immersion killer but respecfully suggest that using hit labels is more so? . Regarding aces, I'm not sure if they cease to be around after the date that they died in real life. Don't know if anyone's come across that. I know it's not possible to alter the course of the war through your actions in OFF and perhaps this is why you can't kill an ace 'till it's time.

Same here, no probs with Win7 64 bit . I'm running Office 1998 32bit with no issues at all. The only software from my XP days that won't run on it so far are Macromedia Dreamweaver and some adhoc accounting package. I simply run them on XP (dual boot) instead. If you have Win7 pro you can install virtual XP and load you old stuff on it and then create a shortcut to your win7 desktop - run the programme in XP but access it in win7. Pretty neat. Yes, I've been away for a bit. I've got loads of sliders and I've only mentioned some of them:boast:. No, really Olham do not start complaining to OBD I just have a stutter in my left index finger. Sliders: 53355 Yep, clouds worsen it but only knocking the Terrain slider down a notch fixes it. I'm hoping to upgrade to ATI 5870 - that should cure it.
