  1. Welcome to OFF. I don't think that P4 will be anytime soon. The devs keep teasing us with screen shots but I feel it's a way off yet. I believe that it will not be an upgrade but a complete install - and, yes, you will have to pay for it. Having said all that, I should go ahead and get P3 if I were you - you won't regret it that's for sure.
  2. Yeh, just tried it. Just a burnt out shell without the fire. I agree with you, we would like this back please, devs.
  3. I think you may be right, WM. I hit this truck full of Schnapps before I got HITR but don't recall seeing it like this since. I've got no mods at the moment.
  4. How dare you, sir. I demand satisfaction. Nurse Gladys is much better looking than I - a fine woman indeed. Thank you, but forget the chocolate. I need to loose weight - your German nurses uniforms are much too tight .
  5. Nice landing, olham. I was in enemy territory just east of Ypres. Got captured, they patched my burns up nicely then I escaped dressed as a nurse.
  6. Things do not look so good. But then another view it doesn't look so bad.
  7. I, too would recommend the SE5a. It's still my favourite plane of choice even now.
  8. I have an AMD Phenom II 550 and I use a Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro AMD 64. Works just fine but I think it's just as important to use a good quality TIM (thermal insulating material). No point fitting a good cooler and using rubbish TIM. Where are you, in the UK Lewie?
  9. And one thing you'll learn from this sim is that the colour of adrenalin is brown.
  10. Welcome, shiloh. All advice you get here will be top notch. Good advice there from olham - get used to your chosen crate in "Freeflight" first. The Camel is definately not the easiest to fly - kills more British pilots than the Albatros
  11. A very belated thought here, WM, but have you ever thought about wood kits? Like this for eg.they allow you to put even more detail in
  12. Welcome stefnuts. With an average flying life of 17hours it's probably best if you get your round in now. Mine's a pint of Spitfire. Seriously, you will not find a nicer, more helpful bunch on any forum anywhere.
  13. Absolutely brilliant - can't wait.
  14. Cheers, Olham . I saw a couple of tanks crossing a bridge once but I've yet to see these battles.
  15. Didn't know you could do that. Mind telling me how?
  16. I think true colour was not until the early seventies. What people were really seeing in the sixties was a result of what they were taking at that time.
  17. So far then we have poor ole Lou who's lucky to get in 1 mission per week and at the other end of the spectrum we have Javito who just can't leave it alone .
  18. I think that the one flown by Harry Hawker did not have ailerons but when further developed as a fighter it did, of course.
  19. I tried to find this information myself once, when I built an RC version. Didn't have any luck. I managed to locate all sorts of data but the introduction date of the 110hp engine eluded me. I do remember someone telling me that it depended which factory it was made in but I haven't been able to confirm that. Good luck with your search.
  20. I'm running with an AMD dual core Phenom II 550 and I've never had problems.
  21. They daren't spoil my day if they know what's good for them.
  22. I very often fly in 56 squadron and look forward to spending my birthday back in Blighty in June 1917 - never had a problem there yet. I know that doesn't help, Javito, but just thought I'd mention it.
  23. Well, I didn't notice that before, Olham. Thank you. tranquillo the dumbnut found his file but it's good to know that if ever I do something that dense again there is a Master Copy. Cheers, Olham
  24. I was tinkering about with my viewui file (after making a copy first) and eventually decided to put it back to the original state and start again. Trouble is, I can't find my original file . Can anyone help with an untouched viewui file for me?
