Hey I didn't even think about looking in the SF1 series area of the forums , but a very big thanks to Geary for figuring it out. Now my question is there a need for the FLIGHTENGINE. ini or can I keep it out of my SF2 folder? I am keeping it on my desktop at the moment, just waiting to hear from some of you guys! Here's my game now! Yeah guys it was set to unlimited. Thanks for the replies

Hey Guys Forgive me if this topic has come up but I cant seem to find an answer. I have a lot of planes that have areas that are blurry I can't seem to figure out why. I only have SF2 downloads in my game. All of my drivers are up to date. Is there some kind of bug or bad files causing this? Any help is appreciated.

OK Ill give that a try, didnt know that it may have reset my settings. I did re-select the proper settings last night I just didnt fly a mission after I did it....I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hey Gang, I just updated my game installs from May 2011 to the most recent updates. I do have only one question. Somewhere along my installing the updates did the new patches change any of the higher details in the video portion of the game. In other words it looks to me that the game isn't as sharp or crisp in the eye candy department anymore. I hope that nothing changed as far as the planes detail goes. That was the main reason I liked this game so much. If the game changes the eye candy then I'll most likely lose interest in it and uninstall it from my system. Anyone have any insight on this....just curious.

Hey Gang, I'm sure that someone may have posted this already, but for the life of me I cant find it. Anyway my problem is this. I have a skin of an F-4 Phantom the 333 Shamrocks and I love it, but for some reason after I patched my game it shows double set of markings on it. Now I'm at work so I post a pic of this plane later today when I get home, but if someone can explain to me how to fix it I would be forever grateful to you.....Thanks in advance....

Hey Wrench can you point to me exactly what mods you are referring to. I looked in the downloads for SF2 but you have quite a few and Im not really sure if you mean objects or terrain updates. I am looking for objects mainly....Thanks man for the help

ins't that patch giving alot of people problems. I dont have it installed and I was thinking of waiting.....does it change alot of things in the game or should I wait for the updated version of this patch to come out..

Hey Guys, I just want to thank all of the people here for sharing input and assistance to all of the others who have questions about this awesome game, but I do have one question in mind that I could use some input on from just about anyone who has something to offer on this topic. I have installed this game and thanks to all of the people who responded to my questions I now have my game set at its peak performace. So hopefully my last question I have is this: "Is there any tweaks that I can make to my ini's or data files to increase textures, trees appearing sooner at futher distance, better looking buildings, etc etc. In other words I want to make the surface of maps and ground objects POP with eye candy.....If anyone has any help on this I would be very greatful as well as others will be I'm sure....

Ok thanks guys Ill try a few more missions, just curious though how does it figure out the season. where I live its summer now. All of the files are installed correctly as well. I wish we had a button in game to change seasons like in FSX.

Hey Gang, Sorry for the questions lately just setting up SF2 again for some flight time. I have installed Starys HD europe tiles and it by default gave me what looks like the winter terrain. How do I go about putting the summer files in there. I have 3 folders fall spring and winter but no summer. Any help would be great! Heres a pic of my flight once I installed the Europe terrain tiles
