  1. You know, I saw somewhere some pics of a A-37 that someone is working on. We may see it yet in this game. :)
  2. MiG-19! YESSSS! Allright Coyote! Now I got at least one skin for each of my Migs. :D Darn nice lookin CV prototype too. The orange trimmed bird reminds me of the aircraft that came over to qual our flightdeck systems, etc. after we got out of overhaul, CV-62, 1977. Thanks for the headsup ranger! :D
  3. I think your first impressions were quite resonable. What you mentioned as missing, we all pretty much have noticed and grumbled about too. I said almost exact same thing about the lack of eject sequence in a thread in this forum. The non steering nosewheel and useless tailhook have passed thru the fire in the forums too. I appreciated your comments also about no training missions or bombing tutorial, heck, they arent even mentioned in the manual as you stated. Check out the thread here on the A6 and yes we should have a refeuling capability, THAT woulda been cool. So I think we all probably agree that there is a LOT of work yet to be done. Good news is that TK and crew are hot on their end fixing the bugs. He has also said that a mission editor is in the works as well as the hopefully soon release of the nessesary tools for modding. Though as I understand it, a lot of work is already in progrees using readily available software like 3dmax. The community, as small as it is, is an awesome group of people who have more than a passing interest in this timeframe of flight and combat. A LOT of guys are ex military who flew these birds or worked on them. (Make sure ya dont post some silly comment on these aircraft with no basis in fact as someone with experiance will likely call you on it, saw it done at least once already in another forum, hehehe) Now that ya got the game, dont forget to download some skins here at BIOHAZ and elsewhere to spruce it up a bit. Annnnd, dont forget to make your AI aircraft flyable too, they are a blast! I even made my own loadout and hanger bmp's for my MIG fleet. I understand the patch should be out before Christmas now, so all we gotta do is practice till then. Then let the games BEGIN! BWAAAAHAHAHAHA!!! *choke* *ack* *gasp* ...gottta...quit...doin that...
  4. There is an animation for the B57 bombbay doors?!!? If you know where we can find this animation, let me know. Probably in some cab file. Maybe we can use it for the IL29 and TU22. That would be a nice temp fix till the patch. I havent tried this yet either but I think we might be able to carry the max of 24 bombs if we change The TU22_data file under [WeoponStations] to read 24 bombs. Remember that the max loadout wieght is 9000kg to keep it realistic.
  5. Hi Ranger, I found that you can drop 12 bombs without opening the bombbay doors (!) by simple leaving the loadout empty. Dont put a bomb in your loadout, leave it empty, and you have a defualt 12 bombs in your bombbay. The bombbay doors dont do anything. There is no animation and it doesnt matter if they are open or closed. I was posting this on some other forums and TK posted and let me know that the loadout screen has a bug and will be fixed. He didnt mention it but I hope they will give us a bombbay door animation.

  7. I posted this I think before we learned about MarcFighters. Since then I have downloaded nearly all he has... :) Havent had a bit of trouble with any of them. Now all I need is a few MiG-19 skins and my MiG force will be clothed in style. Then its on to the IL28 and TU22!
  8. Qfly, how can I change the type of bomb I carry? Can I add other types of Weapons/bombs too, like maybe the "kitchen" antiship missle?

  10. Hiya tc. Got to the links page on biohaz. They got several good sites with skins you'll want to add when ya get the game. There is also the capability to make all the AI aircraft flyable, verrrrrry kewl. There are a number of mods waiting for Third Wires release of the nessesary tools. There is no inflight refueling yet, hopefully in an addon or patch eh? The tarmac and base screens look pretty good. owever we have noticed some video clipping when you are on the ground, looks like the wheels sinking in the ground. But other than that and a few other minor problems, this game pretty much rocks. I hope ta shoot ya down soon... :D
  11. LOL! I was always told that "Maaarrrrriiiiiinnnne! was the sound of Sh-- hitting the fan... Well here's one for ya wiseguy... A marine and a Soldier walk into the can at the same time to take a leak. The soldier gets done and walks over to the sink to washup. The Gyrene gets done and heads for the door. The "Mudmuffin" gets indignant and pipes up with, "Hey Mac!, where ya goin? They taught us Army men in bootcamp ta wash our hands after we pee." The grunt stops in his tracks, turns around, and with a cold, calculating stare, tells the benighted G.I...."Well I'm glad ya learned somethin meatball. However They taught us in bootcamp not to pee on our hands in the first place!" hehehehe....
  12. Well, it worked like you said! Yay! If I dont set the bombload and leave it empty, I have 12 bombs. Now if we could just figure out how to change the loadout screen. Thank you for your help Qfly. :D I hope T_K notices this. It is something to fix in a patch methinks for all the AI bombers.

  14. I have found what I beleive to be the data file for the various aircraft loadouts and what they can carry. It is contained in a file type called .str What is an .str file and how can I open/modify it? Thanks...
  15. Qfly, I am real interested in learning how you manipulated the loadout screen in the game. I am trying to get the TU-22 and IL-28 to carry thier normal bombload and not just one bomb. The Data, ini, and loadout files I extracted from in the aircraftobjectsobjects.cat file all suggest it is capable of carrying 12 bombs, either FAB-250 or -500. Various websites tell me the TU-22 can carry 24 bombs (!) or one FAB-9000 (!). But the ingame loadout screen says only one bomb of either type for both aircraft. help...me...pleeeeaseee....... ... _ _ _ ... (will the aviators pick up the signal?) (should I give another hint?) man, I LOVE messin with airdales... :0)
  16. I been playin Aces High online h2h with 8 players for awhile. It seems to be a pretty good sim. I was wondering what some of you other fellas thought.

  22. I dont know about wwhiteside but I have all the latest updates from the MS sight for WinMe. I hope the game doesnt have a compatability problem in MP with WinMe. I dont want to get XP.
  23. Anyone got any suggestions for this? I'd sure love to have a more accurate bombload in these aircraft. I beleive the B-57 might have the same problem, though it can carry more than one bomb in the game. It just doesnt carry as much as it could.

  25. Hi Fellas, Marcello sent me an email telling me that he has some new skins along with some updated and improved skins, most notably, there is several nice F-4E skins including Japan versions, 3 new Mig-21PFM, and a couple new A-4 skins. Thought you would like to know... :0)
