if you have WoV then try Wings over Europe,when you install it you have the option of a merged install.You can have the best of both worlds.what it does is basically give you ALL the aircraft and campains,and terrains in one install. and welcome to CA I hope these answers helped you.if not let us know as theres some VERY good folks here that are always willing to help.

My brother in law was in a panic..his son is serving on the Florida and she's out for sea trials after some major re-fitting.he calmed down after he found out the Florida was ok.

We fly using Hamachi...easy and rock solid.Other than hyperlobby these really is no place else to go.I'm afraid the days of Jane's,and Novalogic,even Red Baron played on WON ,are gone.Even M$ dropped the Zone.I remember playing on heat,Mplayer,and Kali but other than Kali these are gone.and Kali has a one time fee for it.

This one is actually well thought out and other than it being basically Strike Fighters in Space..so the controls are simple and easy to learn and use.

Space"sims"are few and far between,this one is actually addictive.If Thirdwire was to make a Space"sim"based on his Lite sim concept,just jump in and fly,this would be it.And be sure to watch the video of the actually game play,the graphics will blow you away! Hamachi is a network emulator.You and your friends hook up and one starts a game,then the others join via it.We use it for most every game we play in S2 division of TAW..ALL the Thirdwire sims,IL-2,SH3,and hopefully SH4,and Falcon 4:AF and also Nascar 2003.

how much ram and which video card do you have?if not sure go to my computer->right click and open->hardware manager and then video.It'll tell you what card you have.and ram will show up when you open the screen after you right click it.

in the last one the terrain almost looks like EAW,the others I've never seen that one,must be on line play though,judging from the chat.

the closest to what you want now is Falcon 4:Allied Force.it can be flown as simple as you want or as real as you want.Ramp start and taxi out or start on the runway ready to roll,even start in the air. The campain is dynamic and theres 4 to choose from.I fly it periodically when I want to spend 30 mins just getting ready for a flight. The graphics aren't as nice as lock on but the campain and general realism is much better. As for down the road?I've heard that ED(makers of Lock on)are doing a F/A-18 sim next(but then thats rumor.and Lead Pursuit(makers of Falcon 4:AF) are supposed to be starting a new one.

welcome to Combatace and to FE.Theres alot of very good mods and add-ons here at CA and the A-Team makes some very nice add-on aircraft also,for A-team planes you have to e-mail them and get permisison to download.do a fast search here for A-team and you'll find their e-mail addy.

they are great guys and super pilots,and I have to also give a shout out for the vitrual ThunderBirds.Both groups are top shelf.

they'll be in your main folder and will be named"Grabxx"theres no screenshot folder.
