  1. "vapourware"? Let people down? Don't even think about that, what you did by yourself should be saluted. If and when you get time to start working on this again, you'll have the folks at Combatace to cheer you on. Oh and as far as graphics...I cut my teeth on RB3D and I loved it then and still do now. Never a better WW1 sim, and when you get yours done, I'll take it for a flight also. You have a fan here, Salute Sir.
  2. The third place match was so much better to watch, both teams wanting to win and a much more wide open match. The final was the usual Spain type match, lots of ball control, and the Dutch looking to counter on break aways from others mistakes. I think both were afraid to lose as opposed to trying to win. Well another 4 years then we can start all over again.
  3. I always had a soft spot for this sim, will it play on windows 7?
  4. The Aftermath Going where no mod has gone before. After the release of "Star Trek Legacy" which was a very much anticipated release, the Star Trek gaming world was so disappointed by the bugs in the game, even with 2 patches and seemingly no support from anybody involved. So the community came to the rescue with a host of mods starting to show up which helped the game greatly. After a few of them gave up, or merged with other mods, or just were released and the teams disbanded, one mod continued to work on the game. Tjoz, and his small team were busy turning out their work, improving it, adding new ships and now they even have expanded it to include a new graphics engine, new ships, new planets, new game types, and a new look, as well as a new name. So what direction is it going? Well this may answer some questions. So with all the changes, what is main premise for the New Aftermath? ST: Aftermath breaks from Legacy modding tradition and opts out for a heavily stylized game worlds apart from all other Legacy offerings. Aftermath is the first project of its type to introduce a semi-persistent world to Legacy: the 'Berratta Verge'. Aftermath has been around for a few years now starting things off with the Stage 1 release. Over a period of 2 years, Aftermath quickly grew and spawned many ground breaking releases that changed Legacy and the modding community. This news is to explain what Aftermath 2010 is shaping up to be. Aftermath is set in an area of space known as 'The Berratta Verge'. This area of space has only recently been discovered after the collapse of the Borg Hive network. The only race to have any records of this area of space are the Borg and their records are inconsistent at best. From records gathered from a heavily damaged Borg Cube drifting outside the Verge, there are at least 14 systems in the Berratta Verge. The Borg have tried to probe the area of space for the last 200 years and have come up with nothing. Countless Borg ships have been lost in this area of space, drifting and rotting away cut off from the rest of the Collective. The last Borg stronghold in the Berratta Verge was at a system called 'Nepera Dissi'. With everyone from Starfleet through to the Vulcans on the run to explore this area of space and the ever curious Borg exploring their new found freedom, the Berratta Verge is the latest secret to unravel from the collapse of the Collective and the Transwarp Network. Apart from the locale of Aftermath, everything else is in the process of changing. In comes a stylized version of ST never before seen within the Legacy or general ST community. This is not your average Star Trek. Aftermath 2010 is the final evolution in the Aftermath lineage. A very different world of Star Trek is forming. Much darker, unforgiving, vengeful and brutal. Total chaos is the name of the game. Every race you know and love have been re-imagined in a much darker theme. With each race getting a new identity, the way in which we have all seen the races on all mediums before will never feel the same. From the curiousness of the Borg to the savage primitive behavior of the Klingons, this new ideal of Star Trek will not be for everyone... The new explosions: So for all those who decided Legacy wasn't worth the hard drive space, take a second look and you can keep up with the development in our forums Aftermath Forum

  17. Ok so I installed CFS 3 on Windows 7 home premium 64 bit, I followed the post I read on another forum. Install game, DON'T start it, delete desk top shortcut, patch, then go to the root folder, and copy the CFS exe and paste to desktop. Worked perfect. Not sure if the short cut was just a problem with the other guys machine, but I didn't take any chances and followed his set up. Just wanted to let yall know. I am sure this has been discussed before. I started on-line flying with a RB3D squadron, so WW1 is dear to my heart. So what all do I need to get?

    Man Rules

The Man Rules At last a guy has taken the time to write this all down Finally , the guys' side of the story. ( I must admit, it's pretty good.) We always hear "the rules" From the female side. Now here are the rules from the male side. These are our rules! Please note.. these are all numbered "1 " ON PURPOSE! 1. Men are NOT mind readers. 1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down. 1. Sunday sports It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be. 1. Crying is blackmail. 1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it! 1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question. 1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for. 1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become Null and void after 7 Days. 1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us. 1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one 1. You can either ask us to do something Or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself. 1. Whenever possible, Please say whatever you have to say during commercials.. 1. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we. 1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not A color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is. 1. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that. 1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," We will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle. 1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, Expect an answer you don't want to hear. 1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine... Really . 1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as baseball, or golf. 1. You have enough clothes. 1. You have too many shoes. 1. I am in shape. Round IS a shape! 1. Thank you for reading this. Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight; But did you know men really don't mind that? It's like camping I copied this from another forum, but wanted to share it with all my buds here!

    GO COLTS!

I ahve to agree, GO COLTS! Liked them since the first time I watched a football game and saw Johnny U. under center. Of course they were in Baltimore then, but still a fan! Oh and Hotness, the Superbowl would be compared to the F.A. Cup final and the World Cup final(with England in it of course)all in one. Yes I am a West Ham United supporter!!
  20. If you are a hard core simmer, you'll know the name Falcon 4.0. I have it with the binder and the strategy guide just sitting around. I saw on e-bay it sells from around 50.00 to 120.00. shoot me a PM and we'll see if we can work something out.
  21. Bob was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was really (edited for the young). She told him "Tomorrow morning,I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE!!" The next morning he got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up,she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway. Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale. Bob has been missing since Friday.
  22. It is amazing the growth of the site. Biohazcentral.com was started by Madjeff, and when I found the site, MJ and Fates had things well in hand. It was a LOMAC site, and everyone was waiting on the release of that sim. The rest,as they say,is history. Since Madjeff decided to step away and Erik and the rest of the new admins. took over, all I can say it is a real joy to continue my association with the site. Even with the large number of members we have, the job of the moderators is actually easy as this is a very good self policing community. Here's to many more years!

    Latest news

A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy International Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a compass, a slide-rule, and a calculator. At a morning press conference, the attorney general said he believes the man is a member of the notorious "Al-Gebra" movement. He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction. "Al-Gebra is a problem for us," the attorney general said. "They derive solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in search of absolute values. They use secret code names like 'X' and 'Y' and refer to themselves as 'unknowns,' but we have determined that they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country." As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, "There are three sides to every triangle." When asked to comment on the arrest, President Obama said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, he would have given us more fingers and toes." White House aides told reporters they could not recall a more intelligent or profound statement by the president. It is believed that the Nobel Prize for Physics will follow.
