Best wishes to all the folks here and our service men and women serving. A Happy and Safe Holiday.
  7. A former Infantry Sergeant having served his time with the Marine Corps took a new job as a school teacher. Just before the school year started he injured his back. He was required to wear a plaster cast around the upper part of his body. Fortunately, the cast fit under his shirt and wasn't even noticeable. On the first day of class, he found himself assigned to the toughest students in the school. The smart aleck punks having already heard the new teacher was a former Marine were leery of him and decided to see how tough he really was before trying any pranks. Walking confidently into the rowdy classroom, the new teacher opened the window wide and sat down at his desk. When a strong breeze made his tie flap, he took a stapler and stapled the tie to his chest. He had no trouble with discipline that year... SEMPER FI!

    Bobby Cox!

As the 2010 season draws to an end, so does the career of legendary Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox. Over his 25 year career with the Braves, Bobby's accomplishments are staggering. Bobby led the Braves to six 100+ win seasons, an unprecedented fourteen consecutive Divisional Championships, five League Championships and an unforgettable 1995 World Series Championship. He is a three-time Manager of the Year and ranks fourth all-time in wins among MLB managers. However, the numbers don't tell the whole story of Bobby Cox, who has done it all with class and style, earning the respect and admiration of players, coaches and fans throughout baseball. This is from MLB.com and I have been a Braves fan for a long time, and it seems like Mr. Cox has always been at the helm, I for one will miss him in the dug out, I wish him the best of luck with his future plans.

I guess the turkey call made me realize it, heck turkey season has been out for months, and I still carry a call, and even play with it from time to time. drives everyone crazy. I guess I am a Red Neck, and I am proud of it!
