Sorry everyone..I had a major meltdown and of course as it usually happens I wasn't expecting this so I hadn't backed up my files.So I had to reformatt..I lost all my files,so the 2 tutorials I had 99% done will be late as I have to get new screenshots and start writing everything over.again I'm sorry..was looking forward to passing these along to everyone.Oh yeah..the topics were Gun sights,and targeting and radar keys,I also has just started on weapon employment,so these will be late.

OK day 3 and so far so good.The main withdrawal day is past..Thank goodness.

I gotta get me one of those shirts!

OK so go to Major Lees site and look in the comms room for patch updates. some really cool screen shots and a bit of info.

actually if you think about it..SFP1 has a great AI when set on hard settings,with the "killer"migs and they will work as a team to get you and your wingman. :D

are you sure he didn'y turn? or that your radar didn't paint another ship?if your settings are hard you won't get a red square and no yellow diamond on lock.

Chief, If you are sure it's the correct size right click it and save it to your system then in the Avatar section just click on upload from your machine.if I can help you let me know...be more than happy to.

DK is this one you released earlier? If so it works good.I'm still playing with it,and learning the F-4 with it.Also might include a read-me for installation,I believe I read theres different thoughts on installing these.

maybe it's in the ini. file,or maybe it needs a trigger.

Try Sub Command and check out the mods at www.subsim.com They've done great things for this sim...it's still tough to learn.also look at Silent Hunter2 while there. Just for you sub skippers. :D

check your video card drivers also..make sure you have the latest..I was flying Janes F-18 and the MPDs were completely see through until I updated my drivers.

have you tried DKs new FMs? they fix alot of these problems? I think they are at skunkworks..not sure but you can e-mail or PM him.Yes there are some problems...but they are currently being addressed by both the community and by TK as he works on the patch. I'm not sure what sims you've flown before but I promise you they had to be patched(well maybe not M$ titles as they seem to forget they have games out there once they are released! I tried CFS3 and took it back after 30 mins of wasting my time with that piece crap),IL-2 has had 3 or 4 patches so far,not to mention Falcon 4 had to fixed by the community.I've been flying sims for to many years to get upset,I see the potential for this sim.Other titles I have make some really great coasters. So what other sims do you fly?

I was checking out his comms room and ran across this tid bit of info: Glad to see they're planning on doing it right.

if it's a shadow can you add another aircrafts shadow info and maybe that would get it right?just wondering.Your doing darn good work Digital.

not sure about yours but mine works...might try to look at it as you fly if not tell us what you see and maybe we can help.

check your control panel in the game controllers and make sure everything is good there,if so and you can't get to configure in the game...then try to uninstall defrag/scandisc/reinstall.

Rogue...thats the way to do it.The F-4 was never designed as a true dog fighter..it was designed as a missile platform.The Phantom can climb with the best of them,and once you learn it it's hard to beat.The main thing is don't get lured into a turn fight.
