  1. Yes Wrench give it a look too, if you want 'll send you my avionics file too And if I am bothering too much, I'll shut up.. promise.
  2. This is what I thoguht too, but actually multiple ASE should work. you get the ase and the TWS indication. there is a STT radar screen indication .tga and I see now you meant the TWS .tga indication for mfd only , I guess. good it was not deleted, since can be put to good use! Anyway check pm, I sent an avionics file for you to check. Thanks for your attention and support! And the addition is,, tremendous, fabulous. Wait until screenshots start appearing!
  3. I agree with the intelligence on the forum. As for the TWS .tga, I have in the cockpit/radar/ folder, this one mode_tws.tga and in avionics file [Radar_Mode_TWS] SymbolType=ASE_CIRCLE Position=-0.60,-0.780 TextureIRM=cockpit\RADAR\mode_tws.tga TextureSAHM=cockpit\RADAR\mode_tws.tga TextureAHM=cockpit\RADAR\mode_tws.tga RemoveOnBreakX=FALSE ImageSize=0.15 And the [Radar_Mode_TWS] was not called in the [RadarDisplayTWS] By adding the line Symbol[21]=Radar_Mode_Tws, the indication TWS appears when you choose TWS radar mode
  4. yes I guessed it must have been a typo, they should come in proper order. as for symbol[18]=Radar_Mode_Tws. There is a .tga named such which is supposed to appear in the right lower corner in TWS mode, similar to the STT tag that appears in STT mode. in this entry [RadarDisplayTWS] RangeSetting=1,2,3,4,5,6 BarElevation[1]=0.75 BarElevation[2]=-0.75 ScanRate=100 ScanBeamAngle=2.5 ScanArc=30 PPI=FALSE Symbol[01]=RangeScaleText Symbol[02]=ElevationCaret Symbol[03]=AzimuthCaret Symbol[04]=TargetTWS Symbol[05]=TargetTAS Symbol[06]=TargetAspect Symbol[07]=TargetHeading Symbol[08]=TargetRangeCaret Symbol[09]=TargetAltitude Symbol[10]=TargetClosure Symbol[11]=AimDot Symbol[12]=ASECircle Symbol[13]=ShootCueTWS Symbol[14]=BreakX Symbol[15]=RMinCaret Symbol[16]=RMaxCaret Symbol[17]=AcquisitionSymbol Symbol[18]=TargetPDT Symbol[19]=TargetRange Symbol[20]=ASECircleAHM Symbol[21]=Radar_Mode_TWS <-----------------------By adding this line we have the .tga that says TWS show up in the radar screen, this line was not present in the released avionics file, wasting the nice TWS tag in radar screen I am talking SFP1 so far. and for what I experimented so far, the avionics is perfect for WOE except for the two lines to cross out in the end of the avionics file. The plane could be easily advertised as WOE/SFP1 compatible too, setting aside those two last lines. I'll experiment more By the way, brilliant idea creative to use multiple ase_circles entry. This avionics file will be a text to study. Thanks for not feeling insulted. Some people is very sensitive here, and I am trying to relax and post without the uncomfortable feeling of a crosshair on my head. Not that I ever thoguht it was your case... Thank you again
  5. also could it make sense to add in avionics file those two lines: [RadarDisplayACM] RangeSetting=1,2,3,4 ScanBeamAngle=2.5 //3.75bore Symbol[01]=RangeScaleText Symbol[02]=ElevationCaret Symbol[03]=AzimuthCaret Symbol[04]=VSdots //I added: Symbol[05]=ASECircle <---------------ONE Symbol[06]=ASECircleAHM <-----------TWO Please craig , don't feel insulted I am looking into the file. The idea is to make it work better and test it right? BTW the model is awesome, incredible. I guess there is no way to model the forward right amramm station as a bay for the LP pod, because of the exceeding number of stationids?
  6. Also, in avionics file. [RadarDisplayTWS] RangeSetting=1,2,3,4,5,6 BarElevation[1]=0.75 BarElevation[2]=-0.75 ScanRate=100 ScanBeamAngle=2.5 ScanArc=30 PPI=FALSE Symbol[01]=RangeScaleText Symbol[02]=ElevationCaret Symbol[03]=AzimuthCaret Symbol[04]=TargetTWS Symbol[05]=TargetTAS Symbol[06]=TargetAspect Symbol[07]=TargetHeading Symbol[08]=TargetRangeCaret Symbol[09]=TargetAltitude Symbol[10]=TargetClosure Symbol[11]=AimDot Symbol[12]=ASECircle Symbol[13]=ShootCueTWS Symbol[14]=BreakX Symbol[15]=RMinCaret Symbol[16]=RMaxCaret Symbol[17]=AcquisitionSymbol Symbol[18]=TargetPDT Symbol[19]=TargetRange Symbol[20]=ASECircleAHM Symbol[18]=Radar_Mode_Tws <--------MIGHT MAKE SENSE ADDING THIS LINE, in order to have the .tga included to show?
  7. In avionics.ini, posible typo that forbids some radar symbols to appear. [RadarDisplaySTT] RangeSetting=1,2,3,4,5,6 ScanBeamAngle=2.5 PPI=FALSE Symbol[01]=RangeScaleText Symbol[02]=ElevationCaret Symbol[03]=AzimuthCaret Symbol[04]=TargetPDT Symbol[05]=TargetTAS Symbol[06]=TargetAspect Symbol[07]=TargetHeading Symbol[08]=TargetRangeCaret Symbol[19]=TargetAltitude <----------THIS SHOULD BE Symbol[19] right? Symbol[10]=TargetClosure Symbol[11]=AimDot Symbol[12]=ASECircle Symbol[13]=ShootCueSTT Symbol[14]=BreakX Symbol[15]=RMinCaret Symbol[16]=RMaxCaret Symbol[17]=TargetRange Symbol[18]=Radar_Mode_STT Symbol[19]=ASECircleAHM
  8. Dear Craig Thanks a lot for thisplane and for the tremendous effort I own WOI, but I dlike to have the plane working in sfp1 when you have a sec, is there alist of files to extract to have it work in sfp1 etc? Thanks

  12. Actually Cmpntr I was talking about the A-5 available from CA, not julhelm's, whose new RA-5 am anxiously waiting. I must have a misplaced landing hook; am not know as the best of pilots, but 10 "bolters2 in arow are too much for me , tooo Can I please have the tailhook entry for rhugovi's mod?
  13. As in the title. I have a version of the RA-5C with canoe and everything, but with a "strap on" invisable Landing hook, whose position I can't get right and makes carrier landing impossible Any idea? Ha anyone experimented with this?
  14. The RF-111G loadout includes ECM pods, perhaps they don't belong to the missions' year? BTW the screenshots are cool, and it would be worthwhile to add a stealth entry to the data.ini of the RF-111G
  15. The install is actually a pita. Please post here if you have troubles. For Cmprnt; Thanks for your nterst in the plane Post the mission in public, so we all can go low over over Rostock Nice from you to get this bird into your wonderful missions

  17. Ok Guys (and Girls) The plane is out. And waiting approval. There were perhaps a few things to polis but I wanted her out and flying. Give her a test, tweak, let me know, let's discuss on the boards. It includes a good number of mods, I should have asked everyone, details in the readme.

It is my fault not people's above. Also this is really a combined effort. I think I mentioned everyone and asked permission to everyone for what is in the package. In case I forgot, it is just my mistake, I apologize in advance, and we will work it out, let me know in PM or on the boards. Same if someone wants the files removed, just ask the moderators or me. Hopefully in the future we can have an easier to install version that includes .lods and cockpit. which for now are not included. This plane is completely fictional. It is inspired to Dale Brown's novels in which, usually the characters are flying highly modified bombers to save the free world in top-secret and reckless missions. The RF-111G appears ina Dale Brown's novl called "Chain of Command" which I actually haven't read, but the idea of a revamped F-111 was too good to pass. It makes use of various bits and pieces of stuff made by great modders, such as: Of course F-111's model and cockpit makers, for starter. Without them we would not have the Varks at all. Their is the credit. -MF's avionics suite and graphics coming form the F-16A Blk10, allowing modern AHM capabilities, TWS and avionics70 compatiblity, and HUD. tThe suite has been slightly modified to be adapted to the RF-111G, but the credit is Mirage Factory -alfonsofondacaro's stealth and mercenary skins for F-111F, great jobs done quickly and on request, keep an eye on this guy he will do great things I think! -Some of Wrench's nosearts, that definately need more visabilty; what is more sexy than a beauful girl painted ona sleek fighterbomber nose? Yes I agree, a real beautiful girl in your bed, I know I know.. Anyway: Installation: This is not a complete aircraft. You need a good and complete install of the F-111F, with sounds and effects and fuel tanks. Most likely you already have the F-111F in your install, if you don't: -Install the F-111F from the package available at Combatace. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...mp;showfile=917 Install the F-111's cockpit from Mike Wherner website http://www.schmidtwerner.de/products/e_f-111_pit.html -MAKE a COPY of the F-111F and rename it RF-111G; -Delete all skin folders in the just renamed RF-111G folder Copy, and overwrite all content of this download folder into RF-111G folder. Next we need to install two new weapons. Copy the content of the supplied weapons.txt in your weapondata, renumber in sequence, and then open the weapondata with weaponeditor and save. You will have two new weapons -A "pavetacksystem" which is basically an unlaunchable missile(EOGR) with no lod attached to a mock hardpoint; it will allow you to "operate" a camera FLIR even after the release of the guided bombs. . Think of it as the software for the Pavetack AVQ-26 (which still needs to be loaded) -A LAU-105AHM, Dual Amraam launcher-rail.(yes this plane can perform Air to AIR) Finally the content of "put in aircraft folder" must be dropped into your aircraft folder; do not overwrite if requested; most likey you have canards for other planes. in this case backup your canards and drop the RF-111G canards, or keep those you had before, althoguh in this case the RF-111G wil be without canrds, or even worse get the canards you have installed. On Combatace there is thread by FastCargo that explains how to modify with an hex editor the canards.lod. Perhaps a future version will have dedicated canards. Final notes -AVQ-26 pavetack should be kept in all loadouts, and the FLIR can be deployed with CTRL-O command, and to mantain camera FLIR capabilty, the pavetacksystem should be kept in all loadouts too. Loadouts: there are only weapons included in standard weapons pack. I suggest though to experiment with exotic loadouts as SDB, TacitRaimbows, Jsows, Jdams etc. Hangar and loading screen are still those coming with F-111 package , maybe some one feels like redoing them? IMPORTANT final note TO improve you BVR gameplay make sure that ALL your planes in the install have a maxvisibility of 12000 in their data ini; you will be able to lock a target, on radar, hit CTRL-R to lock it visually (BVR) and order wingman to attack. In most case wingman will use SAHM, AHM and then IRM. Very cool, until WOI which apprently has an AI very good at breaking radar lock. Of course all credt goes to mentioned designers and this mod is for freeware use only

  20. I actually had just a repainted canard, and the final decal permission for the merc skin included. It is actually a group effort of many, the only problem is the cockpit. I ll release it without and with instructions for download. Tomorrow, or tonight I guess. There is no big changes in the FM but I experimented with the included FM; actually equipeed with amramm and phoneix can give an hard time to flankers' formations as long as ypur SFP1 install is configured for BVR; you can do fast supersonic BVR deliverly and disappering in the weed, and then again. Beautiful I will release this pack for now, and hopefully, later release a pack with a TCS from the tomcat as blackbird is doing, leaving the bombbay for more ordnance
  23. As stated, can someone pass me his mail or email him on my behalf. HE is rarely around. Thanks
