Actually I guess it had been already spotted bt crusader, quite a while ago; and it ws just a matter of checking the missing .tgas form your inis, and look for them. I ve found them in my WWII effects (by you!), but I guess a complete package is more user friendly, thanks Stary

Okei Mystery solved. I guess, but I might be wrong that in the download of enahanced explosion 2 there are two missing .tga, related to the 23mmobjecthiteffect, 23mm.tga and pinky.tga. Those two targas are in the WWII effect package by CA_stary. I noticed the problem while strafing with tornado, (23mm mauser) and having the missing texture, while with other planes there was no problem. Thus saying, question: which objects takes way those mentioned in the object data.ini, or those mentioned in the types.ini for the same object, in each terrain?

Wrench I had this entry in my target data for the range, should be no problem adding this area to your range data right? Also one question, how comes that, in the original range in the least, each single mission had a different number of sam launnchers at the sam site (the one included in the bombing area), at the same level of airdefense setting? aT times one at times the full battery, at times none...never observed that on any other terrain I added for experiment another sam battery, and it always appears in its entirety

Thus saying that whole conisderation about low-altitude shimmering is basically more taste than anything else, actually you probably have more low altitud time than me, since 15 % of my flight time is in low altitude flying in waterbombers. seriously, when I quoted my experience I didn't mean to look like a know-it-all, or a show-off.

Actually probably my eyes are less irritated by the shimmering, which is yes beyond real, but neither real is the cardboard effect with the trees. I think it is really a matter of taste thoguh, what do you fly if I may ask?

Shimmering zeroed on my old ATI-9600 but the white edge are distracting and give my eyes a feling of cardboard trees, when seen close. I guess it is matter of taste. If I may say, having flowna little at treetop height and over woods and trees, I can tell you that real world , does shimmer, especially trees and woods and forests. Maybe it is mt brain-eye that looks for somethign similar (anyway shimmer not to the awful level of Falcon4, but that is another story)

But this "dummy Engine" would still burn fuel, when not in refueling conditions, so basically you get fuel and then you burnt it off with a thrustless engine?
