Wow, hi MadJeff not much new in these parts outside of what modders are putting through. Oh TK has now just put up all the SF2 games by $10 each - and if you don't know the Strike Fighters and Wings Over series was replaced by the Strike Fighters 2 series from around 2009 with the last patch now being 2013 - but they were DX10 and changes to work better on multicore CPUs at least. SF2 North Atlantic might be worth trying for starters if you like the Tomcat and intercepting Soviet bombers. DCS has this year seen some big changes with a new DX11 engine and although most modules are Falcon 4 learning curve, there are exceptions like the "Flaming Cliffs 3" module (soon to be re badged as "Modern Air Combat" with more jets) - these are closer to SF lite in terms of learning.

NA Map is just Iceland and surrounding water pretty much You can have the F-14 avionics in the Arrow if you wish but yes somebody would need to spend some time on it. SF2 Europe might be the best bet and recommend the NATO Fighters Mod in that at least to get a good terrain Also with SF2E you can get the Scandinavian Front 2 although don't think Norway is on that.there was a Norway map but might be set for WW2

Ill received on the basis no one bought it is TWs line I guess or even just badly marketed I mean it has a flipping F-14 on the front cover. NA is different to the other 4 in various ways and it adds a lot to do with the Naval battles, so more bombers with Cruise missiles and ships firing tons of SAMs at them.....bomber interception is one of the main things I did a lot of in it and you have bases on Iceland anyway not just carriers...............however you can do bomber intercepts in any of the series really.

Hi there - so you how far are you - have done this? Before installing this update you should: 1. Ensure that SF2V is properly installed & updated. (Note that SF2 and SF2E must be part of your base install.) 2. Ensure that the Expansion Pack v. 2.1 (Mar. 2010) is installed to your SF2V Mod Folder. (Also, the VPAF Add-on must be installed.) 3. This update is distributed as a two part download. You must unpack both parts. Unpack both SF2V_AG-XP_v2_Sep14_Pt1.7z and SF2V_AG-XP_v2_Sep14_Pt2.7z to a safe place on your drive. Now you're ready to install the update. If you have installed Part 1 and there is a Part 2 it should be just a case of more copying and pasting / overwriting (also for parts 2/3/4) as long as the Installation section in the link above is also followed.
