Update your PB and then add the 1.1 patch thats out for COD4. USAFMTL told me about it. We are tearing it up on some servers tonight!!!!!!!!!

I don't know anything about gimp. Use layered templates is the best advice I can give you. Check out the tutorials located here and at simmershq. Decals don't go on the skin , are you "painting" on the markings or using decals? Decals go in a seperate folder and show up on the skin using the decal.ini.

I'm getting a "Int failure" and it's kicking me from games. I went to PB and downloded the PBsetup.exe and updated my game and I still get it. Anybody else having this problem?????????

In the decal.ini is the DecalLevel=2 ???? That has to be set for them to show in any order. You also need 16 decals.... 0-15. I've attached the decal tutorial to help. EDIT: Wrench beat me to it while I was posting Decal_Tutorial.doc

I'm going to revisit the F/A-18 Israeli skin I did way back. As far as an F-16XL SEA skin thats's a "what if" I could look at also. But I have to get off COD4, and thats not happening for at least a week more!

I started with WoV in 05.... hadn't flown sims in along time... Jane's F18 was the last major sim i had. Liked what I saw here and decided to try (try being key word here) to do a skin after seeing all the goodies available. Stepped on the toes of one USAFMTL with my first attempt (sabre) reamed a new one and started a friendship from there. This community is a ocean of talented individuals who have helped me more than i can say. My playing time in game is 1 day 7 hrs 23 mins I just look at the challenge list and try to do at least one per match. You want to game experience points fast? Play Sabatoge, HQ, etc etc. TDM and F4A get you points but the others give you massive points.

Me 2! I'm up over level 40 right now.... sweet weps and the challenges are fun as hell!

Well I think I got a "fix" for the connect problems.... I was surfing through all the options in the MP menu's and saw "VERIFY" key code.... did that and made sure it was correct from the install...... did the save and ok buttons...... low and behold I get right in servers now.........
