  3. Before People start yelling about not getting Drop Tank specific Skins to show in SF2/SF2V, I thought I'd better go through this so People can understand it. It's a new feature that TK has added to the new Line of Titles. It allows Drop Tank Skins to be added to Skin Files for specific Paint Schemes. Let's take a look at the F-4C_67 and it's Data.INI...... But Third-Party Aircraft that want to add this Feature must have entries like this for the Feature to work. Once done, An Aircraft can have specific Drop Tank Skins for their Aircraft Skin of their chose. If these Lines are not added. The Game Engine reverts to "Default" and will only show "Default" Drop Tank Skins. And you can put decals them... (Sundowner)

  8. It's the only Change to the Decal.INI. Yes, The Skins need updating some. But very little. I should have Mine all updated by Tomorrow. They are easy fixes. Great Job FC, Veltro2K, Ordway and Team. Great Job!

  16. malibu43, Comrpnt is pretty much right as far as doing research. One can get pretty much caught up in all the Information that's available. Pick out a Unit that You would like as Your Focus. PM Me. And I'll send all the Infomation on that Unit that You can stand. Or point You in the right direction. Many have asked Me to do this for them. And I haven't had any problems getting them Information. Sounds like You want to get involved. So PM Me, I'll set You up. 331KillerBee
  17. If it's listed as this in the WeaponsEditor, You might want to try how it's listed in the MissileObject.INI. Such as "RedWilliePeteExplosion" as opposed to "WPredrocketeffect". Or make a new Effect in the MissileObject.INI that calls out "WPredrocketeffects"........

MissileObject.ini.......You'll have to Tie the Effect to the Weapon...This is an Example from Bunyap's Weapons Pack for WhillePete Red, But You'll get the Idea......: [WpRedRocketEffects] GroundHitEffectName=RedWilliePeteGroundExplosion <<<<< GroundHitSoundName=SmallExplosion.wav WaterHitEffectName=MediumRocketWaterHitEffect WaterHitSoundName= ObjectHitEffectName=RedWilliePeteGroundExplosion <<<<<<< ObjectHitSoundName=SmallExplosion.wav ArmorHitEffectName=RedWilliePeteGroundExplosion <<<<<< ArmorHitSoundName=SmallExplosion.wav CraterModelName= CraterType=1 In SF2, The MissileObject.INI should be located in the "Objects" Folder of Your Install. One Thing I do for My SF2/V Installs, But is not required, Is that I change the .INI's Encoding from ANSI to Unicode using Windows NotePad. Mods seems to Load faster when I do this.....

  22. After I finish My last F-102 Skin, I'm starting to put a Pack together. I've been doing some Research with the National Archive. They have 2,837,976 Missions stored on their Database. From 1965 to 1970. That's not touching another Database that covers from 1971 to 1976. Just thought Yall' like to know..... 331KillerBee
