There was an interesting program on History Channel about that...a Taiwanese Sidewinder stuck in a Chinese MiG and failed to explode. The Chinese shipped it to Moscow and much like the Tu-4, they went to work. One of the gentlemen they interviewed said that the Sidewinder was "like a university on missile design for us". But if you like to fly Red Air, grab Pasko's weapons. I used them and some unclass data to make an AA-8...you will still get your butt kicked by a Viper, but anything else will not be happy to be in the WEZ. Cheers

Just like to say that once again the mod community makes this game great. With S-S Combat there is a good reason to fly anti-shipping missions. Hitting cargo ships was boring, they dont even shoot back! Now we can fly CAS for ships engaged at sea. Awesome work! Cheers

I am not saying that it will work...have seen things work on one set up then stop working after a few weeks with no additional changes...but if you remove the zeroes from the line altogether it works too. MissionChance[RECON]=00 //change to// MissionChance[RECON]= And you wont get that type of mission at all. Have tinkered around with camaigns and found that system to be very cantankerous indeed. Best advise is to tweak, take notes, tweak again until you get close to what you want. Then test and retweak. I keep a vanilla install on the same HD so that when things go awry I can just copy/paste whatever I was tweaking from the original...and then start over. Good luck, be sure to share what you find. I followed capun's advise and altered the reliability and the accuracy. Use the gun editor, it is much easier (for me at least) than editing the data.ini and has an affect on all aircraft instead of editing each one. It was also interesting to note how high the accuracy was set on the commie equipment. Personally, hardly seems like a conscript in a desert nation using 1950's technology second-hand Soviet equipment operating in the sand and sun could ever achieve an accuracy rate in the 90% club. Do yourself a favor and make it more realistic. Cheers
